Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is not merely a condition of permanently decreased renal function, but it also significantly impacts patients’ quality of life. One of the major complications is anemia. Iron deficiency is a primary contributor to anemia in CKD patients, often resulting from reduced erythropoietin production, blood loss during hemodialysis, and inadequate iron intake. This study aims to determine the relationship between serum iron levels (iron in the blood) and hemoglobin levels in stage V chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients undergoing regular hemodialysis at Dr. Harjono S. Ponorogo Regional Hospital, using a quantitative descriptive-analytic approach based on secondary data from the hospital's Laboratory Information System (LIS). A total of 24 CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis twice a week during the period of July to December 2024 were included as research subjects. The results showed that all patients experienced anemia. Although most patients had serum iron levels within the normal range, hemoglobin levels remained low. Statistical analysis revealed a moderate correlation between serum iron and hemoglobin levels, with a statistically significant p-value (p < 0.05) in both examinations. A moderate and statistically significant correlation was found between serum iron and hemoglobin levels in stage V CKD patients, indicating that monitoring iron status is important in the management of anemia in chronic kidney disease.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan keberhasilan proses belajar-mengajar, termasuk pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan memanfaatkan data primer dan sekunder melalui observasi, wawancara, serta telaah dokumen yang dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran SKI di MAS Miftahul Huda telah berupaya mengikuti prinsip universal, keberlanjutan, dan objektivitas, meskipun penerapannya belum sepenuhnya konsisten. Model evaluasi yang digunakan meliputi evaluasi formatif untuk memantau perkembangan belajar, evaluasi sumatif untuk menilai hasil akhir, serta model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) sebagai pendekatan komprehensif dalam mengevaluasi program pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi ketiga model evaluasi tersebut mampu memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai kualitas pembelajaran SKI, di mana implementasi prinsip dasar evaluasi menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan kebermaknaan hasil pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the increasing competition between sea transportation and other modes of transportation, such as air and land, which required PT PELNI as a state-owned shipping company to continuously develop service strategies capable of maintaining and enhancing passenger loyalty. In particular, the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become an important approach to improve the relationship between the company and passengers, ensuring service quality that meets expectations and fosters long-term engagement. The objectives of this study were to analyze the application of CRM strategies on PT PELNI passenger ships, identify factors influencing the effectiveness of CRM implementation, and assess its impact on passenger loyalty. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using in-depth interviews with passengers and staff, documentation of corporate policies and reports, as well as interactive data analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding. The results indicate that CRM at PT PELNI has been fairly effective, particularly through improvements in service quality, staff professionalism, and the broad network of routes, which contribute to passenger satisfaction and loyalty. However, limitations were found in terms of service personalization, data utilization, and post-trip communication, signaling the need for digital-based loyalty programs and more integrated data management. The implications of this study highlight the importance of developing a more passenger-centric CRM strategy to strengthen long-term relationships, enhance customer retention, and support PT PELNI’s competitiveness in the maritime transportation industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh perceived value, kualitas produk, dan brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian iPhone di kalangan mahasiswa Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan 85 responden yang diambil dari mahasiswa aktif pengguna iPhone di 15 perguruan tinggi surabaya, data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 29. Dengan menggunakan uji t pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 dan nilai t-tabel sebesar 0,189, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Perceived Value tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (t = -1.124; p = 0.264). Sebaliknya, Kualitas Produk (t = 5.286; p < 0.001) dan Brand Image (t = 4.355; p < 0.001) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi konsumen terhadap kualitas dan brand image memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian, sementara Perceived Value tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang berarti dalam konteks ini. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya kualitas dan brand image dalam menarik konsumen mahasiswa.

Abstract

A target is needed for kicks and attacks. Currently, these targets are always held by the lecturer, which, when used, significantly wastes time in learning sessions. With the funded Community Service Program (PKM) activity, the lecturer developed his creativity by creating a target stand, which was still incomplete at the time. The results of this community service implementation will impact students in the Physical Education Department at Lambung Mangkurat University. Lecturers teaching martial arts courses have greatly benefited from the presence of this target stand. Survey data analysis results are still in progress and will be attached to the final report. In this case, the partner is a colleague within the Physical Education Department, with whom he has a collaboration in the construction and welding fields. 80% of sports equipment is made from hard materials such as steel. Therefore, the Department has a long-standing partnership with DTK (Dita Teknik Kontruksi). Furthermore, metal sports equipment is regularly maintained, and if damaged, the partner is ready to repair it at a certain capacity.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan Service Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an anak-anak migran Indonesia di Kuala Lumpur melalui metode Iqra’. Selama 20 sesi dalam satu bulan, program ini ditujukan kepada anak-anak usia 7–12 tahun di PKBM PNF KBRI Kuala Lumpur. Kegiatan meliputi pendampingan kelompok kecil, jurnal reflektif, dan metode pengajaran adaptif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengenalan huruf hijaiyah dan kelancaran membaca. Program ini juga menumbuhkan empati dan keterampilan pedagogis pada mahasiswa. Inisiatif ini memperkuat peran pendidikan Islam di komunitas diaspora dan menegaskan pentingnya intervensi pendidikan yang kolaboratif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Introduction: Astambul Subdistrict in Banjar Regency is classified as a flood-prone area. Such regions tend to experience a decline in clean water quality. In Astambul, no mapping has been conducted regarding clean water quality based on water management and land conditions to improve clean water quality in flood-prone areas. This study aims to analyze the availability of clean water sources in flood-prone areas using geoelectrical methods and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Methods: This study used a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional method to analyze clean water sources using geoelectric and Geographic Information System (GIS) methods. This study was conducted in five villages in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Testing using the geoelectrical method was conducted at five locations in five villages, while the GIS method was used at 30 locations across the five villages. Results and Discussion: The geoelectric method showed that 4 villages had turbid water quality, and 1 village had very turbid water. The GIS (Geographic Information System) method indicated that the parameters for turbidity, iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), and coliforms did not meet the standards. The average values of Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), and turbidity are 8.03 mg/L, 179.27 mg/L, 0.22 mg/L, and 17.23 NTU, respectively. The average values for pH, iron (Fe), and manganese (Mn) are 6.44, 0.68 mg/L, and 21.02 mg/L, respectively. Conclusion: Based on Geoelectric and Geographic Information System analysis, the Astambul District area has clean water sources that are still below quality standards.

Abstract

In general, understanding human abilities is often only measured in terms of cognitive intelligence, namely things that can be measured with numbers. Emotional intelligence is the basic capital for students to face the future because with emotional intelligence a person will be successful in facing various challenges, including challenges to succeed academically.  The aim of the research was to analyze how the CTL model is applied in PAI learning and its implications for the emotional intelligence of students at Al-Ikhwan Sesait Islamic High School, Kayangan sub-district, North Lomok Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research was conducted at Al-Ikhwan Sesait Islamic High School, Kayangan sub-district, North Lombok Regency. Based on the research results, it was found that al-Ikhwan Islamic High School has implemented the CTL model in PAI learning. In its application, teachers apply the CTL model in accordance with the general principles that must exist in the application of the CTL model, including involving students in discovering the material, encouraging students to find connections between the material being studied and real life situations and encouraging students to be able to apply it in everyday life. day. Applying the CTL model at Al-Ikhwan Sesait Islamic High School has implications for the formation of students' emotional intelligence including: 1). Self-awareness, 2) self-regulation, 3) motivation 4) empathy, and, 5) social skills. This is in accordance with the indicators of emotional intelligence according to Goelman's theory

Abstract

Disciplinary character helps students to develop self-control, and helps students recognize wrong behavior and then correct it. A learning theory that prioritizes change in the form of changes in knowledge, skills or attitudes is Behavioristic learning theory. The aim of this research is to find out how behavioristic theory is implemented in forming students' disciplined character in PAI learning at SDN 1 Taman Ayu. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Taman Ayu. Based on the research results, it was found that the application of behavioristic theory to PAI learning has been implemented well in accordance with the principles contained in behavioristic theory by increasing stimulus so that it can produce the desired response. In the application of behavioristic theory at SDN 1 Taman Ayu, the disciplined character of students that is formed includes: 1) students enter the class according to the specified time, 2) Students obey the class rules, in this case the rules are that the teacher does not start the learning process during class not yet clean, 3) Be orderly in following the learning process, 4) Maintain cleanliness and order in the classroom, 5) Complete teacher orders according to the time given, and 6). Collect assignments on time.

Abstract

In 2023, the World Bank in its report entitled "Is a Global Recession Imminent?" predicts that there will be a global economic recession, which is also likely to occur in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the readiness of the community to face the threat of a global economic recession, one of which is from changes in consumptive behavior towards goods or services that are not primary needs. The method in this article is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through interviews with several informants with different professions and income levels. Based on the results of the discussion in this article, it can be concluded that: There is a change in consumptive behavior in society after the issue of the global economic recession in 2023
