Abstract

Abstrak Peluang untuk berprofesi sebagai pemandu wisata menawarkan alternatif pekerjaan tambahan yang strategis bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Malaysia. Namun, pengembangan peluang ini memerlukan dukungan kebijakan yang tepat guna mengatasi hambatan administratif, termasuk perizinan kerja untuk profesi tambahan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman menyeluruh tentang profesi pemandu wisata sebagai opsi pekerjaan tambahan bagi PMI di Malaysia. Tiga pokok penting yang perlu menjadi perhatian oleh PMI dalam usaha mendapatkan akses serta peluang partisipasi dalam profesi tersebut diantaranya yang petama status legal secara hukum PMI, karena hal ini tidak hanya memberikan perlindungan hukum, tetapi juga memperluas akses PMI ke berbagai peluang ekonomi. Kedua pentingnya memahami peraturan yang berlaku dan pematuhi peraturan-peraturan tersebut dalam rangka menunjang kepada pengembangan profesi tambahan ini. Pengetahuan yang mendalam mengenai profesi ini menjadi landasan untuk menciptakan pekerjaan yang aman dan berkelanjutan, serta mendukung peningkatan keterampilan jangka panjang. Ketiga yaitu pentingya kemampuan komunikasi yang efektif, yang tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas layanan, tetapi juga membuka peluang untuk meningkatkan pendapatan, memperluas jaringan profesional, dan mengembangkan keterampilan. Dengan memanfaatkan keterampilan ini, PMI dapat menciptakan pengalaman wisata yang berkesan bagi wisatawan, sekaligus memperkuat reputasi mereka di sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon in which students have different levels of understanding in learning Arabic. To address this issue, the Arabic teacher of fifth-grade students at MI Nurul Hamidiyah Jungkarang applied the audiolingual method in teaching maharah al-kalam (speaking skill). The purpose of this study is to describe the results of implementing the audiolingual method in improving students’ speaking skills and to identify the factors influencing its implementation at MI Nurul Hamidiyah Jungkarang, Jrengik District, Sampang Regency. This study employed a field research design using a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of the research was the implementation of the audiolingual method in teaching maharah al-kalam, while the subjects included the school principal, Arabic teacher, and fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the audiolingual method was implemented through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparation involved curriculum analysis, lesson planning, and material preparation. Implementation focused on repetition and imitation of dialogues, while evaluation used written and non-written assessments. Several factors influenced the implementation, including differences in students’ learning pace, limited audio facilities, restricted instructional time, and the lack of teacher training in audiolingual methods.

Abstract

This study addresses the common tendency to view balā’ (trial) merely as negative misfortune, whereas the Qur’an and Sufi exegetical traditions often frame trials as instruments for faith formation and spiritual maturity. The research aims to examine the concept of balā’ within Sufi isyārī exegesis by analyzing Imam al-Qushayrī’s (d. 465 H) Laṭā’if al-Isyārāt, focusing on how he interprets Qur’anic passages on trials and what implications follow for religious life. Employing a qualitative library based approach, the primary sources are the Qur’an and Laṭā’if al-Isyārāt, supported by relevant works in Qur’anic exegesis and Sufism; the analysis is conducted through thematic mapping and hermeneutical reading. The findings indicate that al-Qushayrī understands balā’ as a mode of spiritual pedagogy: (1) purification of the self (tazkiyah), (2) advancement through spiritual stations and strengthened servanthood, and (3) unveiling inner meanings that guide the seeker toward ma‘rifah (gnosis). In conclusion, balā’ is not punishment but a means of spiritual transformation fostering patience, contentment, and existential closeness to God.

Abstract

This study aims to construct a character education model based on the Qur'anic values contained in Surah Yusuf. In the context of the moral crisis and ethical degradation of the younger generation in the digital era, character education needs to be rooted in spiritual and humanistic values in order to shape individuals with morals and integrity. Surah Yusuf provides a complete picture of character education, encompassing intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach with the thematic interpretation method (tafsir maudhu'i) and content analysis of the verses of Surah Yusuf related to the values of character education. The primary data source is the Qur'an, while secondary sources include classical and modern commentaries such as Al-Tabari, Al-Qurtubi, and Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab and Fi Zhilalil Qur'an by Sayyid Qutb, as well as contemporary character education theories from Thomas Lickona, Lawrence Kohlberg, Muslich, and Majid and Andayani as a theoretical basis. The research results show that the main values of character education in Surah Yusuf include honesty, patience, responsibility, hard work, steadfast faith, and self-control. The resulting concept of Qur'anic character education emphasizes the integration of monotheism, morals, and the formation of a resilient personality. The educational methods reflected in Surah Yusuf include role models, advice, habituation, and spiritual reflection. Thus, Surah Yusuf can be used as a paradigm for Qur'anic character education that is relevant and applicable in the modern education system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze AIK as an ideological curriculum in Muhammadiyah higher education through the framework of critical analysis of das sollen and das sein. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research, with data sources in the form of official AIK documents, Muhammadiyah higher education curriculum, and relevant scientific literature that is analyzed through content analysis and critical approaches. The results of the study show that at the das solen level, AIK is formulated as an ideological curriculum that integrates theological, ethical, and intellectual dimensions in the mission of da'wah and tajdid of Muhammadiyah. However, at the water level level, the implementation of AIK still tends to be formalized, the dominance of textual and one-way pedagogical approaches, and the weak integration of AIK with the cross-disciplinary academic ecosystem. The gap between normative ideals and implementive realities is influenced by structural factors (pragmatic orientation of higher education, accreditation demands, academic competition) and cultural factors (academic culture that emphasizes technical achievements). This study concludes that strengthening AIK as an ideological curriculum requires systemic transformation that includes the repositioning of AIK as an educational paradigm, strengthening dialogical-reflective pedagogy, and integrating AIK values in institutional policies and campus culture.

Abstract

(1) Background: Health issues in wetland environmental areas, especially the problem of waste in rivers, is still a strategic issue, so it was important to study about river management. Whatever management, it cannot be separated from the leadership aspect, because leadership plays a key role in formulating and implementing strategies policy, including encourage community participation. Thus, community participation becomes an important thing in integrated river management to create a sustainable Healthy City. One element that is part of the community participation is the river guard. This research was aimed to analyze the leadership model for the participation of river guard in the river waste management system in Banjarmasin City; (2) Methods: The research design used mixed methods research (qualitative and quantitative research methods). The research subjects were 30 river guards and other informants who involved of river waste management in Banjarmasin City; (3) Results: The research results showed that the majority of river guards had good participation, and only a few of river guards had sufficient participation. Furhermore, it was found that the Laissez Faire leadership model or style tends to influence the participation of river guards in the river waste management system in Banjarmasin City; (4) Conclusions: The laissez faire leadership style does not always mean negative, but of course there are positive things or effects, when a leader is able to transform it. Abstract

Metode dalam pembelajaran mempunyai posisi yang paling urgen, penggunaan metode yang tepat bisa menentukan terlaksananya pembelajaran, kedudukan metode pembelajaran menentukan terlaksananya pembelajan yang efektif. Ada berbagai metode yang dapat digunakan oleh guru diantaranya ialah metode tutor sebaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada siswa khususnya dalam Pembelajaran Maharah Kalam di Kelas X MA Al Jawahir Malakah Komis Kedungdung Sampang. Tutor sebaya merupakan salah satu dari metode pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan dan mendorong pada peserta didik mempelajari sesuatu dengan baik, dan pada waktu yang sama ia menjadi narasumber bagi yang lain.Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1) Bagaimana Penggunaan Metode Tutor Sebaya Dalam Pembelajaran Maharah Kalam di Kelas X MA Al Jawahir Malakah Komis Kedungdung Sampang? 2) Apa saja faktor Pendukung dan Penghambat dalam Penggunaan Metode Tutor Sebaya Dalam Pembelajaran Maharah Kalam di kelas X MA Al Jawahir Malakah Komis Kedungdung Sampang? Adapun pendekatannya menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, adapun pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1). Penggunaan metode tutor sebaya mampu memberikan dampak yang positif serta segnifikan dalam pembelajaran adapun langkah-langkahnya meliputi: 1). Guru membuat Rpp dan Media Pembelajaran, 2). Guru menjelaskan Materi Pembelajaran tujuan pembelajaran dan langkah-langkah kegiatan yang akan dilalui siswa, 3). Guru Membagi siswa menjadi beberapa kelompok yang terdiri atas 4-6 siswa secara merata (setiap kelompok terdapat Siswa yang pintar), 4). Di dalam kelompok belajar siswa belajar dengan sesama siswa. 5). Masing-masing anggota kelompok secara bergiliran mempersentasikan hasil bahasannya dihadapan kelompok lain, 6). Setiap kelompok diminta memberikan tanggapan (krtitik, saran, pendapat, pernyataan dan komentar), 7). Guru memberikan kesimpulan permasalahan dan pemecahan. 2) Faktor pendukungnya meliputi interaksi antara guru dan siswa, minat siswa dan kenyamanan siswa, sedangkan penghambatnya dari metode ini meliputi kurangnya persiapan tutor, kondisi siswa dalam kelas, dan sarana-prasarana yang belum memadai.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of majelis taklim activities on adolescent religious literacy in the Imam Syafi'i Mosque environment in Sampit. The urgency of the study is based on the need to strengthen adolescent religious literacy in the digital era characterized by the rapid flow of religious information with varying quality and authority, so that a structured and credible development space is needed through mosque-based non-formal Islamic education. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design. The study population was all adolescents in the Imam Syafi'i Mosque environment in Sampit, with a sample of 41 valid respondents determined through probability sampling (simple random sampling). Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire, then analyzed with descriptive statistics and simple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed that the level of adolescent participation in majelis taklim activities was in the high category (M = 41.58; SD = 7.06), while adolescent religious literacy was in the good to very good category (M = 79.54; SD = 13.39). Regression tests show that majelis taklim activities have a positive and significant effect on adolescent religious literacy (β = 1.833; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination R² = 0.935, meaning that 93.5% of the variation in religious literacy can be explained by majelis taklim activities. This finding confirms that majelis taklim plays a role not only as a forum for religious study, but also as an effective educational space in transmitting knowledge and strengthening the internalization of adolescent religious values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of survival skill activities in Scout Scouts on strengthening the independent dimension in students of SDN Banjar Timur I. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with additional quantitative analysis. The research design used was a case study with a sample of 30 students who actively participated in Scout Fundraising activities. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics for quantitative data and thematic analysis for qualitative data. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in all indicators of self-sufficiency dimension after participating in survival skill activities. Before the activity, most of the students showed a low level of confidence, but after the activity, their confidence increased by 20%. Students' initiative, responsibility, and decision-making abilities have also experienced a significant increase. In addition, survival skills activities provide hands-on experience in facing challenges that increase a sense of responsibility and better decision-making in urgent situations. These findings indicate that Scouting activities, especially those related to survival skills, are effective in strengthening the independent dimension of elementary school students, which is in line with the goals of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Tazkiyatun nafs, which etymologically means the purification of the soul, is understood as a process of spiritual and moral development aimed at shaping a complete human personality in accordance with the values of tawhid. This study aims to analyze the concept of tazkiyatun nafs as an Islamic psychotherapeutic approach in forming the insan kamil through a comprehensive literature review. This study employs a literature review method by examining various classical and contemporary sources, including works of Sufi scholars, Muslim psychologists, and Islamic psychotherapy literature. The findings indicate that tazkiyatun nafs consists of systematic stages, including mujahadah (earnest striving), muraqabah (self-awareness under Allah’s supervision), muhasabah (self-reflection), and riyadhah an-nafs (disciplining the soul), all of which function collectively as spiritually based psychotherapeutic techniques. This process is proven to be relevant in forming the insan kamil, namely individuals who achieve moral perfection, emotional stability, inner tranquility, and moral integrity. The study concludes that tazkiyatun nafs is an effective Islamic psychotherapeutic approach for character development and holistic mental well-being, particularly within the context of modern society facing psychological challenges and spiritual crises. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more applicable Islamic psychotherapy models in guidance and counseling.
