Abstract

Aeng Tong-tong Village, Saronggi District, Sumenep Regency is one of the villages that has the largest keris craftsmen in the world. However, it was recently discovered that the participation of village youth in preserving keris was starting to erode and they did not have a good level of concern, which can be seen from their participation in keris craft activities which continued to fade. Based on this problem formulation, this research focuses on the visualization of keris in the form of video documentaries as a new approach to increasing awareness of the youth of Aeng Tong-tong Village towards keris crafts. This research uses a development method that is oriented towards the development of a product whose development process is described carefully through a documentary video product. The results of this research show 1) Documentary video as a medium for socializing the value of the Sumenep keris, 2) Documentary video as a medium of learning and knowledge, 3) Keris documentary video as a means of motivating village youth, 4) Documentary video as a media empowerment innovation.

Abstract

This study examines the prenuptial agreement in Serat Ambiya Pelemgadung, Sragen, Central Java, Indonesia. The agreement is a special power considering that some of the existing serat texts are used in photographing husband-wife relationships when they are legal. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to compare the characteristics of Serat Ambiya Pelemgadung with others. In addition, what is the framework and meaning of the prenuptial agreement in Serat Ambiya Pelemgadung. This goal is expected to be achieved by selecting philological, hermeneutical and literature studies methods. There are several things that need to be underlined in this study, in the end, that Serat Ambiya Pelemgadung differs from the content of Serat Ambiya' Pelemgadung produced by Hamengku Buwono V's scriptorium. The philosophical framework and meaning of pre-nuptial agreements are inclined to matrilineal cultural values, such as; a) a commitment to love and provide for his wife, b) provide a business field for his wife, to prepare for the children's old age. the husband, c) bear all the debts of the wife before the marriage, and forbid his wife from debts in the future, and d) the husband promises not to use and demand all of his wife's property.

Abstract

Peraturan terbaru silat pada tahun 2022 berbeda dengan peraturan lama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemahaman atlet pencak silat terate muda satui tentang peraturan terbaru kategori tanding. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 14 atlet Terate Muda Satui kategori tanding tingkat remaja dan dewasa, yang terdiri 11 orang atlet laki-laki dan 3 orang atlet perempuan, di kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pengisian angket tertutup. Skala yang dipakai adalah skala Guttman, yaitu skala yang menyediakan dua jenis jawaban secara tegas. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian yang sudah di validasi oleh penilaian ahli. Teknik analisis data yang akan digunakan oleh peneliti ialah dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif dengan penghitungan data statistik menggunakan aplikasi teknologi SPSS, excel dan perhitungan manual pada perhitungan hasil akhir. terbaru di tingkat kabupaten atau diatasnya. Kuesioner penelitian dengan 20 pertanyaan pilihan ganda, memiliki 4 buah indikator, yaitu ketentuan point serangan, ketentuan teknik jatuhan, ketentuan pelanggaran bertanding, dan ketentuan larangan. ketentuan teknik jatuhan 55,35% dan ketentuan larangan 42,85%. Sub indikator dalam kriteria Baik antara lain, ketentuan pelanggaran bertanding 75%. Sub indikator yang memiliki pemahaman dalam kriteria Sangat Baik hanya satu yaitu sub indikator ketentuan point serangan 87,01%.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting under five in Central Kalimantan is, 27,7%, where East Barito Regency is in the second highest position with 33,7%. This makes East Barito Regency one of government’s priority targets in tackling the high incidence of stunting in Central Kalimantan. The sub-district that is the main priority of the East Barito Regency government in interventing stunting events is Pematang Karau District. This study aims to determine the relationship between young mothers pregnancy and the incidence of stunting in children under five in the working area of Bambulung Public Health Center, East Barito Regency. This research uses analytical observation method using case control. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. The statistical test used is the chi-square test. In this study, 39 stunted toddlers were used as the case group and 30 non-stunted toddlers as the control group. Where there are 25 (41,70%) respondents of young mothers pregnancy at an early age (<20 years) in the case group as many as 18 (30,00%) and in the control group as many as 7 (11,70%). Then, non-young mother’s pregnancy 35 (58,30%) respondent consisting of 12 (20,00%) respondents frim the case group and as many as 23 (38,30%) from the control group. The result of the chi-square test obtained p=0,009, OR =4,929, CI 95% =1,612-15.071. There is a significant relationship between young mothers pregnancy and the incidence of stunting in children under five in the working area of the Bambulung Public Health Center, East Barito Regency and early pregnancy risks of 4,929 times greater risk of stunting in children under five compared to early age mothers.

Abstract

Guru atau seorang pendidik melakukan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam aktifitas pembelajaran agar menarik perhatian siswa dan siswi untuk tujuan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa agar siswa dan siswi menyukai minat membaca kami selaku guru menginovasi cara belajar menggunakan pembelajaran visual based learning agar minat siswa dan siswi menyukai pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru dan meningkatkan.penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan uji lapangan ditemukan menggunakan visual based learning sebagai inovasi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan minat dan kualitas membaca pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Aloe vera is a plant that is rich in minerals, vitamins, and antibacterial properties. A study to analyze the antibacterial effectiveness of aloe vera in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria isolated from acne pus. This study was an experimental laboratory study using the disc diffusion method, located at the Bacteriology Laboratory, Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya, from February to May 2024. There were 6 sample treatments with 4 replications, 4 treatments of extract and juice concentration variations, namely concentrations of 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, positive control using penicillin antibiotics, and negative control using clean distilled water. The results of this study show that at aloe vera extract concentrations of 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%, the average diameter of the inhibition zone was 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, and 12 mm, respectively, while in aloe vera juice, these concentrations did not form an inhibition zone. So it was concluded that aloe vera extract is more effective than aloe vera juice, the most successful test material to slow the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria in this study was aloe vera extract with a concentration of 100%. This study also conducted qualitative phytochemical testing on aloe vera extract which has antibacterial compounds, namely saponins, tannins, flavonoids, and terpenoids. The results of the study on the effectiveness of the inhibitory power of aloe vera extract and juice against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria using the disc diffusion method were analyzed using quantitative descriptive and presented in tabulation form in the form of the diameter of the inhibition zone formed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the SLM in MTsN 2 Kediri City , the benefits of applying SLM, the constraints faced , and to analyze the implementation of the SLM with reading theory from Mortimer Adler and Charles Van Doren. The research method used was qualitative with the type of case study research. The subjects of this study were the school principal, deputy school principal in the curriculum, Indonesian Language teachers, and students. Data obtained through in- depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Next data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which included the stages of selecting data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, researchers extended the observation and triangulation of sources and data collection techniques. The results of this study are: 1) The SLM in MtsN 2 Kediri City is implemented through reading corner activities; Wall magazine; environmental conditioning that is full of motivational sentences; habit of reading the Qur'an; as well as assignments on Indonesian Language subjects, the form of assignments such as: summarizing some types of books such as old novels, biographies, fantasy stories and popular knowledge; 2) The benefits of implementing this program are students being diligent in reading, trained in composing sentences, getting to know the types of books, and increasing their knowledge; 3) The constraints faced this program are the lack of available reading material in the library; students have difficulty in getting the type of books required; and difficulties in summarizing thick books; and 4) The implementation of SLM in MTsN 2 Kediri City is categorized in the third level of reading theory of Mortimer Adler and Charles Van Doren. It can be seen from the type of task assigned for participants learners to review book until the analysis, it is to display the advantages as well as the shortage of books read.

Abstract

Introduction: Academic stress is prevalent among final-year students, with thesis preparation being a significant source of this stress. Coping are essential as they effectively represent the body’s conscious adaptive responses to reduce stress through self-adaptation. This research determines the relationship between coping and stress levels in students from the class of 2020 at the Faculty of Medicine, Palangka Raya University, during their thesis preparation. Methods: The study employs a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. Simple random sampling was utilized for participant selection. The research instruments comprised coping questionnaires and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Data were analyzed using Charles Spearman’s correlation analysis with a confidence interval of 95%. Results: Out of all 96 respondents, 49 individuals (51%) had good coping skills, and 80 individuals (83.3%) experienced moderate stress levels. Notably, among the 49 participants exhibiting good coping, a majority (42 individuals or 85.71%) experienced moderate stress levels. The Charles Spearman test findings revealed a significant value of 0,013 (p < 0.05) with a weak correlation and the opposite direction (r = -0.252). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between coping and stress levels in students from the class of 2020 at the Faculty of Medicine, Palangka Raya University, during their thesis preparation.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a crucial factor in the service industry, including PT Bretonia Marble, which faces challenges in maintaining service quality standards amidst global competition. This study aims to measure the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction at PT Bretonia Marble. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to a sample of the company's customers, while secondary data came from the company's sales reports. The independent variable in this study is service quality, and the dependent variable is customer satisfaction. Data processing was conducted using regression analysis to determine the relationship between these variables. The research results show that service quality has a significant influence on customer satisfaction, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.645. This indicates that 64.5% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by service quality, while the remaining portion is influenced by other factors such as price and product reputation. The T-test demonstrates that service quality positively impacts customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.000. In conclusion, improving service quality at PT Bretonia Marble significantly contributes to customer satisfaction. Therefore, the company is advised to continuously enhance various service dimensions, such as reliability, empathy, and responsiveness, to maintain customer loyalty and improve market competitiveness. The study also recommends optimizing service processes and employee training to strengthen customer relationships and ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

Social media has a big role in promoting ekasoghi beach tourism. Promotion through social media tiktok, Instagram and Facebook is a strategy carried out by Ekasoghi beach tourism managers in an effort to increase of the visitors. Open access to information is expected to provide information to potential tourists to obtain accurate information according to the information needed. In addition, the presentation of information through social media is able to persuade visitors so that in the next process it encourages them to visit Ekasoghi beach tourist destinations. This study uses a qualitative approach to the method of collecting observational data. The research results show that 1) many destinations have become viral or known to the wider community because the destinations difused on social media, 2) Tiktok is used to share cinematic videos and Ekasoghi beach vlog videos, 3) Instagram is used to disseminate various facilities on Ekasoghi Beach, 4) Facebook is used as a marketing medium to a wide audience to promote various Ekasoghi beach tourism products.
