Abstract

This paper explores the intersection of women’s rights and Indonesia’s correctional system, focusing on the legal and social dynamics affecting incarcerated women. The study critically examines the Indonesian Correctional Act and its provisions related to women, highlighting the challenges of female inmates within a predominantly male-dominated penal system. While the act sets out various measures for the protection of women in detention, including separate facilities and gender-sensitive policies, its implementation often falls short, leaving women vulnerable to abuse, inadequate healthcare, and limited rehabilitation opportunities. The paper investigates how these gaps reflect broader societal attitudes toward women, where gender-based inequalities persist even within the criminal justice system. By analyzing legal texts, institutional practices, and interviews with legal experts and women prisoners, the research aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the challenges facing incarcerated women in Indonesia. It further discusses the role of state institutions, civil society, and international organizations in advocating for reforms that uphold women’s dignity and human rights in detention. Ultimately, the paper argues for a more comprehensive and gender-sensitive approach to prison reform, one that goes beyond the basic separation of male and female prisoners. It calls for the integration of policies that address the specific needs of women, such as maternal care, trauma-informed treatment, and vocational training, to ensure their rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society post-incarceration. This discourse serves as a critical step toward achieving a more equitable and humane correctional system for women in Indonesia.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been a concerning rise in the frequency of conflicts within various regions. These conflicts stem from a complex interplay of economic, social, and cultural factors. This study sets out to discern the key determinants that shape the overall level of peace and stability within Central Java province. A qualitative descriptive approach is used to comprehensively investigate the factors influencing social vulnerability. The analysis of available data unveils an encouraging decrease in reported crime rates, reflecting positive strides in law enforcement and security measures. However, it is crucial to note that certain indicators suggestive of heightened vulnerability have exhibited worrisome trends. Factors like unemployment and poverty have shown an alarming upward trajectory, warranting closer examination and targeted interventions. Conversely, the declining trend in school dropout rates could be interpreted as a positive sign, potentially contributing to a more conducive environment within the region. This study underscores the need for a comprehensive understanding of the evolving dynamics of vulnerability and peace-building, providing valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in Central Java and beyond.

Abstract

The demands of life require a balance between faith and piety, reflected in noble morals. Therefore, students need to be prepared and guided to have good morals. Moral education is essential; MA Islamic Center Bin Baz (ICBB) and MA Jamillarohman apply this concept. Research was conducted to evaluate the education system and the implementation of morals in the two schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach and a multi-case study type. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's interactive approach and cross-case data analysis. The results of the research show similarities in both schools, such as the goal of forming moral character, the implementation of the education system at the beginning of the school year through meetings with the teacher council, and positive implications for students such as honesty, trustworthiness, devotion to worship, a tendency to help in benevolence, obedience to others. Old, and generous. The difference between the two lies in the karakul Karima pattern at ICBB, which involves Islamic boarding schools, MA Jamillurohman's emphasis on the MAPK curriculum, and MA ICBB's focus on continuing studies in the Middle East and preparing its graduates for work. In contrast, MA Jamillarohman focuses on continuous learning with merit scholarships, memorizing the Koran, and improving studies.

Abstract

Abstract

The aims of the present study was to determine the effect of monensin supplementation in ration TDN step-down on blood metabolit of lactation Friesian Holstein. The experiment made 4 treatments (T0: 73% TDN rations without monensin; T1: 73% TDN rations with 50 mg/cow/d monensin; T2: 68% TDN rations with 200 mg/cow/d monensin; T3: 68% TDN rations with 200 mg/cow/d monensin with 4 replications in group of 3,4,5 and 6 mounth of lactation. The variabel were a) dry matter intake, b) crude protein consumtion, c) TDN consumtion, e) blood glucose, f) blood urea, and g) blood insulin. The results showed that Monensin Supplementation In Ration TDN Step-Down has same mater of ration consumption and blood metabolit (P>0,05). The value of ration consumtion is 11,37; 10,89; 10,94 and 11,65 kg/d of dry mater intake; 1,58; 1,51; 1,51 and 1,59 kg/d of crude protein; and 8,27; 7,9; 7,44 and 7,94 kg/d of TDN. The value of blood metabolit is 67,9; 71,625; 65,05; and 67,70 mg/dl of blood glucose; 13,05; 19,925; 17,45; and 18,55mg/dl of blood urea; and 2,73; 2,79; 2,93 and 2,02 of blood insulin, respectively for T0, T1, T2 and T3. In conclusion of this experiment that monensin supplementation on TDN ration step-down not chance the ration consumtion and blood metabolit, that’s means monensin tended to increase the energy efficiency.
