Abstract

There is no denying that the Covid-19 outbreak has become one of the most frightening diseases. One of them is the large number of use of drugs that have not been through clinical trials. One of them is Ivermectin. This paper describes several things that need to be known until a drug can be circulated and the meaning of granting the distribution permit. The discussion shows that Ivermectin does have a marketing authorization, however, Ivermectin, in that distribution permit, has never been indicated for the treatment of diseases as a result of Covid-19. The distribution permit must also be accompanied by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and circulated in Good Drug Distribution Methods (CDOB)

Abstract

This research was made with the aim of discussing and reviewing the differences between the National Pharmacy Committee (KFN), the Pharmacy Council and the Indonesian Council of Health Workers (KTKI). This study uses a normative juridical method. The data used is secondary data, which is based on the laws and regulations that apply as primary legal material. The analysis was carried out qualitatively by reviewing the legal norms regulated in the laws and regulations to then draw conclusions from the results of the analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is no connection and legal relationship between KFN and the Pharmaceutical Council or KTKI. The Pharmacy Council itself is part of the KTKI

Abstract

The Nursing Act recognizes different types of nurses with various competencies, but not much is known. This paper aims to provide an understanding of nurses who run independent practice. This research is a research with a qualitative approach based on norms. The findings and discussion show that in principle, nurses who carry out independent practice must have competence as a nursing profession with various specialties. One of them is that independent nurses are required to be independently responsible for each nursing care carried out by them

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, which is actually happening and has spread throughout the world, it came from the Chinese state of the city of Wuhan. Health workers are one of the parties who are on the direct line to deal with this virus, in conditions like this it can be seen that many victims have fallen, both the Indonesian people and the health workers, because health workers sometimes have to sacrifice their lives to protect the community from the spread of the covid-19 virus. In this case, the position of health workers is at risk as heroes to face covid-19, therefore guarantees and legal protection for health safety for health workers during the covid-19 pandemic are very much needed in its implementation. Therefore, the role and responsibility of the government is urgently needed to fulfill the rights of health workers as the front line in handling the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. One of them is by creating Occupational Health standards. This study intends to explain Occupational Health standards for Health Workers who work in hospitals based on applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

The application of nanomedicine technology in the treatment of chronic diseases shows a very promising potential to revolutionise conventional therapeutic approaches. Through their ability to improve drug bioavailability, more precise targeting, and controlled drug delivery, nanomedicines open up new opportunities in the management of chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. The advantages of nanomedicines in overcoming biological barriers, improving drug efficacy, and reducing side eflects provide new hope for patients suflering from chronic diseases that have been difficult to treat with conventional methods. However, despite its great potential, the application of nanomedicines still faces significant challenges. Long-term safety issues, complexity in production and regulation, and high development costs are still major barriers to the widespread adoption of this technology. Further research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the development of a comprehensive regulatory framework are required to overcome these challenges. With continued eflorts in overcoming the existing barriers, nanomedicine has the potential to transform the landscape of chronic disease treatment, oflering more eflective and personalised solutions to millions of patients worldwide.

Abstract

3D printing technology has revolutionised healthcare, particularly in prosthetics and implants. This research examines the role and impact of 3D printing in developing medical solutions tailored to individual patient needs. The method used included a literature review. Results show that 3D printing enables more accurate, efficient and aflordable prosthetics and implants. The technology also oflers high design flexibility, enabling the creation of complex structures that are difficult to achieve with conventional methods. In addition, the integration of biocompatible materials and sensor technology opens up opportunities for more functional and responsive implants. Despite challenges such as regulation and standardisation, 3D printing has the potential to change the paradigm in healthcare, improve patients' quality of life, and pave the way for future medical innovations. Further research is needed to optimise materials, improve manufacturing precision, and address ethical and accessibility issues.

Abstract

Medical disputes are one of the most important issues in the world of healthcare, often giving rise to legal, ethical, and social implications for both medical personnel and patients. The implementation of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health has brought significant changes to the resolution of medical disputes by mandating non-litigation resolution through mediation or arbitration mechanisms before bringing the matter to court. This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of mediation and arbitration as alternative dispute resolution mechanisms following the implementation of the aforementioned law, as well as to identify the challenges and supporting factors for their implementation. The research method employed is a normative-empirical legal approach using a qualitative literature review. The results of the study indicate that non-litigation dispute resolution mechanisms have several advantages, including a faster process, cost-effectiveness, and a focus on restorative justice principles. However, their implementation still faces various challenges, such as low public awareness, a limited number of competent mediators and arbitrators in the medical field, and insufficient infrastructure and technical regulations for implementation. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, medical institutions, professional organisations, and the public are needed to strengthen the out-of-court medical dispute resolution system optimally.

Abstract

The implementation of mediation and arbitration as alternative dispute resolution in Indonesia faces various complex challenges, ranging from low compliance with arbitration awards, lack of public understanding, to limited human resources and supporting infrastructure. These obstacles have resulted in the effectiveness of mediation and arbitration being less than optimal and still less popular than dispute resolution through the courts. This article examines these challenges and offers solutions in the form of improved education, strengthened regulations, development of mediator and arbitrator competencies, and effective use of technology. With these strategic steps, it is hoped that mediation and arbitration can become the primary choice for resolving disputes quickly, cheaply, and fairly in Indonesia.
