Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to explore the implementation of the GASING KABATAKU (Gampang, Asyik, Menyenangkan) method as an innovative approach to improve students' arithmetic skills and motivation in mathematics at MTs Negeri 14 East Jakarta. The study addresses the persistent issues of low numeracy and math anxiety among junior high school students in Indonesia. Methodology – An action research design was employed, involving 17 sessions split into two stages: teacher training and student implementation. Participants included mathematics and general subject teachers, along with seventh-grade students. The GASING KABATAKU intervention involved kinesthetic and visual learning activities, such as movement, songs, and manipulatives. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, classroom observations, and teacher reflections. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively, while qualitative data explored student engagement and motivation. Findings – The study found significant improvement in arithmetic achievement, with mean scores increasing from 60 to 85, and mastery levels rising from 55% to 90%. Qualitative observations indicated higher student motivation, reduced math anxiety, and increased classroom participation. The GASING KABATAKU method effectively enhanced both conceptual understanding and enthusiasm for learning. Novelty – This research integrates kinesthetic and rhythmic strategies into mathematics instruction, offering a replicable model for teacher professional development. Significance – The findings benefit mathematics educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers aiming to improve numeracy skills and foster student motivation in mathematics.

Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the symbiotic relationship between entrepreneurship and digitalization in Society 5.0, emphasizing the pivotal role of entrepreneurs in navigating and leveraging digital technologies to foster innovation and propel economic development. Research Methodology:  This study uses quantitative methods to explore entrepreneurship in the era of Society 5.0, focusing on digitalization for innovation and growth. The population comprises entrepreneurs in Indonesia who use digital technology in their business. The sample comprised of 200 purposively selected entrepreneurs. Data were collected using an online questionnaire on the use of digital technology, innovation, and business growth. Data analysis, including validation, descriptive analysis, and SEM-PLS, was conducted using Smart PLS. The results are expected to provide insights into digital strategies for business innovation and growth. Results: The results highlight how entrepreneurs can leverage digital technologies, such as AI, IoT, and big data, to develop innovative products, improve operational efficiency, expand markets, and make better decisions. The benefits include global market access, improved customer experience, and better business sustainability. This makes entrepreneurs more competitive and responsive to market change. Limitations: Today's entrepreneurship faces limitations, such as technology dependence, adaptation difficulties, data security risks, and the digital divide. Entrepreneurs also encounter global competition, changing regulations, a lack of digital skills, poor technology infrastructure, and funding difficulties. Overcoming these challenges requires support from the government, the private sector, and educational institutions. Contributions: This research helps institutions develop digital policies and training programs, adds to the global literature on entrepreneurship in the Society 5.0, provides digital strategies for management, and improves entrepreneurs' competencies in utilizing digital technologies. It provides practical guidance to support business innovation and growth in the digital age.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of decoction of pulutan leaves simplicia(Urenalobata L.) on the development of the uterus of Balb C mice (Musmusculus). Female mice aged 10-12 weeks were given decoction of pulutan leaves simplicia with concentration of 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, 15%, and control. The administration of pulutan leaves was performed by gavage for 11 consecutive days. On day 12, mice were dissected, then, the uterus was taken for histological preparations using paraffin method. Data such as uterine diameter and myometrium and epimetrium thickness were analyzed using one way analysis of variance followed by least significant different. The results showed that decoction of pulutan leaves simplicia decrease the uterine diameter and epimetrium and myometrium thickness compared to control. The decrease of uterine diameter and uterine myometrium and epimetrium thickness was started at the concentration of 7.5%. Decoction of pulutan leaves simplicia could reduce uterine diameter and thickness of uterine myometrium and epimetrium, thus, it might decrease the uterine function as the site of implantation. The decline in the function of the uterus might decrease the number of born children, thus decoction of pulutan leaves simplicia is potential as antifertility agent.

Abstract

The need for a healthy and pollution-free environment is the basis of the problem that this study examines. Social media has become an integral aspect of daily existence for the majority engaged in the digital realm. It enables individuals from various backgrounds to utilize these platforms to stay updated on the latest information, such as the current state of pollution in Jakarta. This research explores the attitudes of social media users regarding their perspectives on air pollution in Jakarta. The method used includes conducting a Systematic Literature Review of academic papers released from 2020 to 2023. The results of this research can unveil the types of social media platforms utilized, the quantity of datasets, the procedures for data collection, data preprocessing techniques, and the commonly employed methods in sentiment analysis studies concerning the subject of air pollution.

Abstract

This study has a very important objective, namely to identify and analyze teacher strategies in the process of instilling multicultural education values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning for class XII SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. To achieve this goal, the research used a qualitative method with data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. Then, the validity of the data was tested through triangulation of techniques and triangulation of sources. The results of the study showed that Islamic Religious Education teachers used six main strategies in instilling multicultural education values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning, namely group learning/discussion strategies, meaningful learning strategies, experience-based learning strategies, learning strategies with humor, learning strategies using videos and ppts, and strategies to provoke student involvement. These strategies have proven effective in instilling multicultural education values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning and have been proven to form students' attitudes that are more open, more tolerant, able to do good to fellow school residents who are diverse, and able to think critically about issues of diversity. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari secara menyeluruh pentingnya literasi media bagi anak-anak di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Sekolah Dasar (MI/SD) dan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk membangun kewarganegaraan digital yang sehat. Metode penelitian buku digunakan, yang melibatkan analisis menyeluruh dari berbagai sumber literatur, termasuk buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan laporan penelitian yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi media sangat penting untuk memberi anak-anak kemampuan untuk menyaring, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi di era modern. Mengembangkan literasi media sejak dini membantu mereka mengembangkan sikap kritis, tanggung jawab, dan etika dalam berinteraksi di internet serta melindungi mereka dari efek negatif hoaks dan disinformasi.Studi ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan literasi media di MI/SD memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Selain itu, kurikulum harus dimasukkan ke dalam konteks digital saat ini. Anak-anak dapat tumbuh menjadi warga negara digital yang cerdas, bijak, dan bertanggung jawab yang dapat menggunakan teknologi informasi untuk kebaikan bersama.Kata Kunci: Saring, Sharing, Literasi, Digital, MI/SD

Abstract

Paradigma pembelajaran abad 21 menekankan pada kemampuan siswa dalam mencari tahu dari berbagai sumber, merumuskan permasalahan, berpikir analitis dan kerjasama serta berkolaborasi dalam menyelesaikanmasalah. Generasi abad 21 perlu belajar kecakapan hidup abad 21 yang meliputi kecakapan berpikir, bertindak, dan kecakapan hidup di bumi. Salah satu kecakapan hidup yang harus dimiliki di abad 21 adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah kemampuan atau proses berpikir untuk memberikan gagasan-gagasan baru yang dapat diterapkan dalam pemecahan masalah. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa turut memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa itu sendiri. Aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu fluency (kelancaran), flexibility (keluwesan), originality (keaslian), elaboration (merinci), dan metaphorical thinking (berpikir metafora). Studi ini merupakan bagian dari studi eksperimen untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikirkreatif siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Sidoarjo yang terdiri dari enam kelas jurusan IPA dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 229 orang. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif diukur melalui tes tulis yang kemudian dianalisis dengan rubrik penilaian yang sudah disesuaikan untuk setiap aspek berpikir kreatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dianalisis merupakan kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebelum diterapkan suatu model pembelajaran yang diduga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Hasil analisis berpikir kreatif siswa menunjukkan sebanyak 93% siswa memenuhi aspek kelancaran, 72% memenuhi aspek keaslian, 49% memenuhi aspek keluwesan, 46% memenuhi aspek merinci, dan 29% memenuhi aspek berpikir metafora. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah memenuhi berbagai aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif namun belum maksimal. Solusi yang ditawarkan berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut adalah perlunya penerapan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Matakuliah Teknik Analisis Biologi Molekuler (TABM) merupakan salah satu matakuliah yang akan segera diterapkan untuk mahasiswa semester VI jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Matakuliah TABM merupakan salah satu matakuliah yang memuat konsep dan prinsip dasar teknik analisis biologi molekuler yang meliputi DNA, RNA dan protein beserta pemanfaatan software dalam analisis tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan buku ajar untuk matakuliah Teknik Analisis Biologi Molekuler yang sesuai untuk mahasiswa semester VI dalam menempuh matakuliah TABM di jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket dan wawancara ke dosen pengampu matakuliah TABM di jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa fakta yaitu belum adanya buku ajar untuk mata kuliah TABM yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang up to date untuk menunjang pembelajaran mahasiswa. Lebih lanjut diketahui pula bahwa kebutuhan akan buku ajar berbasis penelitian tersebut sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan perkuliahan mahasiswa jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo yang diketahui belum memiliki laboratorium yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan sebuah buku ajar mata kuliah TABM berbasis penelitian yang up to date untuk mahasiswa S1 jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of awareness of halal products on consumer trust levels by considering the moderating role of gender. The research method involves regression analysis to evaluate the relationship between these variables. The research sample consisted of 126 respondents randomly selected from the consumer population. The main findings show that awareness of halal products positively and significantly impacts consumer confidence levels. The regression results confirm that the higher the consumer's awareness of the halal product, the higher the consumer's trust in the product. Moderation analysis confirms that female consumers strengthen the positive relationship between awareness of halal products and consumer trust, compared to male consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the interaction between price and quality in the context of apartment purchasing and its impact on consumer purchase intention. This research makes an important contribution to financial management and decision making regarding apartment purchases. The findings from this research provide valuable insight into how the information consumers receive influences their purchasing behavior, as well as how the relationship between price and quality can influence consumer perceptions. The implications of this research can provide guidance for real estate professionals and prospective apartment buyers in making more informed decisions. Thus, this study makes a significant contribution to understanding the dynamics of the property market and consumer behavior regarding apartment purchases.
