Abstract

Organization is one thing that cannot be separated from the scope of Islamic Education. This study aims to identify the organization in Islamic education plays a very important role in creating an efficient and effective system to achieve the desired educational goals. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, where data is obtained through documentation sourced from scientific journals and relevant books that discuss the organization and management of Islamic education. To analyze the data, content analysis techniques are used. The results of the study indicate that organization in Islamic education has a very important role in achieving better educational goals. A clear organizational structure, proper division of tasks, and good coordination between elements in educational institutions can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Iskandar Suhardi, Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement Performance by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. This study aims to analyze the Performance Evaluation of Health Protocol Enforcement by Members of the Merdeka Post during the Covid-19 Period by the Palembang City Fire and Disaster Management Service. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that in the application of the health protocol itself in a combined unit of several elements and agencies, it has several weaknesses, first from the community side who really underestimates the Corona virus, then from the officers themselves there is still minimal knowledge in providing education about the importance of complying with health protocol. The enforcement of health protocols did not go as expected, based on the health protocol policy itself, because there were several aspects, where in fact not all people believed in the existence of the corona virus, some even said that this corona was just a political conspiracy and the like, so that officers had difficulty in enforcement of health protocols. In 2020-2021 the health protocol policy is going quite well, people still have fear and vigilance about the spread of the corona virus, but in the course of time and being supported by people who have been vaccinated 1 and 2, it makes people feel safer, so that strict adherence to simple wearing a mask is no longer obeyed, not to mention other things such as washing hands and so on. The implementation of this health protocol policy has many obstacles and the weak side is public awareness and the pros and cons regarding the presence or absence of the corona virus, so that some people do not obey the applicable rules, and this makes it difficult for officers to carry out the policies that have been determined. So in this case the officer must have the right technique or method so that the implementation process can be easier.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in learning the Qur'an and Hadith at MI Misbahul Adhim. With a qualitative approach and field research methods, this research explores the views and experiences of teachers and students regarding their adaptation to curriculum changes. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and review of relevant documents. The research findings reveal that the Independent Curriculum provides more flexibility for educational institutions to design a learning process that is more in line with the needs of students. The main focus of this curriculum is meaningful learning, character building, and the application of integrated technology. However, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum also faces a number of obstacles, such as limited resources, readiness of teaching staff, and changes in mindset in learning. Overall, the Independent Curriculum has significant potential in improving the quality of religious education. This study recommends the need for more intensive support from various parties, including the government, educational institutions, and the community, to ensure the successful implementation of the curriculum. Further research can be focused on identifying factors that influence the success of curriculum implementation and developing more optimal strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the importance of ethical and cultural leadership in education, especially in creating a conducive learning environment, which not only focuses on academic achievement, but also on the formation of students' moral character. One of the main challenges in the world of education today is the decline in polite behavior and moral ethics in the school environment, which results in rampant violations of social and religious norms. Ethical and cultural leadership is expected to provide solutions to this problem by instilling strong moral values and maintaining the sustainability of cultural values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method to analyze the concept of ethical and cultural leadership. The results of the study show that ethical educational leaders must uphold the principles of justice, responsibility, and transparency in every action, while cultural leaders must be able to maintain and adapt cultural values to remain relevant to the times. These two types of leadership are expected to create a healthy organizational culture and build integrity in educational institutions, as well as motivate their followers to play an active role in achieving holistic educational goals. Education leaders are expected to be agents of change who are able to balance the preservation of cultural values and the application of innovation in education. Abstract

The cost of education is a crucial component in the implementation of education, as the educational process cannot proceed without financial support. This study aims to describe the collection and management of finances at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Blitar. The research approach used is qualitative research with a case study design. The researcher conducted interviews with the school principal and treasurer, document analysis, and observations. The results of the study show that school finances are sourced from government assistance, such as BOS (School Operational Assistance) and BPOPP (Operational Assistance for Education Funding), tuition fees (SPP), development fees (DPP), the foster parents' movement program, and donations from Lazismu. In the aspect of financial management, the school implements mechanisms for planning, execution, recording, reporting, and accountability while adhering to the principles of transparency, accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Abstract

Program kampung iklim merupakan program untuk memperkuat ketahanan terhadap ancaman perubahan iklim melalui upaya adaptasi dan mitigasi dalam tingkat lokal. Wilayah RW 09 mempunyai peran sebagai kampung iklim dan memperoleh penghargaan ProKlim Utama pada tahun 2022. Wilayah RW 09 berdekatan dengan Sungai Bengawan Solo sehingga memiliki kerentanan terhadap dampak perubahan iklim seperti banjir dan erosi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi, efektivitas, dan strategi peningkatan pelaksanaan program kampung iklim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif, analisis statistik deskriptif menggunakan skala Likert, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian yaitu a) nilai implementasi ProKlim yang didapatkan kampung iklim RW 09 Kelurahan Pucangsawit sebesar 64,35% atau kategori sedang b) Efektivitas pelaksanaan program kampung iklim cukup efektif dengan persentase sebesar 56%, dimana kegiatan adaptasi dan mitigasi cukup efektif dengan persentase sebesar 57,4% dan 54,5%. c) Strategi prioritas untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan ProKlim yaitu 1) membangun kerja sama dengan pihak eksternal untuk mendapatkan dukungan teknis dalam membangun IPAL dan pemanfaatan biogas, 2) membentuk kelompok sukarelawan dalam pemeliharaan sarana pengendalian banjir melakukan pendampingan dalam praktik wanatani, 3) membangun infrastruktur yang mendukung pengelolaan sampah organik, 4) melakukan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai ProKlim.

Abstract

This research is a literature review that examines various literature on the implications of transformational and transactional leadership. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of transformational and transactional leadership for Islamic educational institutions, as well as the similarities and differences in transformational and transactional leadership behaviors. The method used in this study is library research, using a qualitative approach with a rational approach method. The findings of this study show that transformational and transactional leadership have implications for each individual's commitment to organizational values and goals. Transformational leadership builds long-term relationships, while transactional leadership builds short-term relationships with subordinates based on shared goals and rewards are given when subordinates are able to achieve goals. Instead, sanctions are given if the objectives cannot be achieved. Creative and innovative behavior is not the main thing, but the status quo is considered important. Islamic education leaders can combine these two models to create a balance between innovation and achievement of results.

Abstract

The development of the times influences the education system, including the curriculum, which serves as the foundation for achieving educational goals. This article discusses the importance of the curriculum in enhancing the quality of education, particularly in Islamic Education (PAI), as well as how the curriculum is designed to address societal challenges and student needs. This research employs a qualitative approach and descriptive methods to gather information related to curriculum development, which consists of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The curriculum is dynamic and contextual, emphasizing the involvement of relevant parties in adjustments according to social and cultural conditions. The article also explains the design of educational programs, which includes objectives, content, learning experiences, and evaluation, as well as the principles that must be adhered to in curriculum design. Thus, the role of teachers as educators and implementers of the curriculum significantly impacts the quality of learning, making the collaboration between education policy and field practice a key factor in achieving educational success.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of performance evaluation in Islamic education, where the results of the evaluation serve as a reference to improve teaching methods, curriculum, and educational management to make them more relevant to students' needs and aligned with Islamic principles. The research method used in this article is library research. The data collection technique involves gathering documents such as books, journals, and other materials relevant to the topic. Furthermore, the data analysis technique employed in this study is descriptive analysis, where the data is analyzed through description.

Abstract

The Regional Head Election (Pilkada) is a democratic mechanism that allows citizens to directly elect their regional leaders. However, voter participation in Pilkada remains a challenge, especially in rural areas, due to limited access to information, political apathy, and a lack of political education. This study aims to enhance community participation through the 2024 Pilkada socialization program in Blorok Village, Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, Central Java. The method used in this community engagement activity is political education-based socialization, involving community leaders, neighborhood heads (RT/RW), and local residents. The stages of the activity include planning, preparation of socialization materials, implementation at the village hall, and evaluation of its effectiveness. The evaluation results indicate an increase in public understanding regarding the importance of electoral participation. Participants who previously had little knowledge about the voting process showed greater enthusiasm after attending this program. Despite challenges such as time constraints for participants and skepticism towards the election process, this socialization effort positively impacted political awareness in the community. It is expected that similar initiatives will continue to improve the quality of democracy and encourage active community participation in future elections.
