Abstract

This study examines the urgency and formulation of marine resource supervision regulations by the Regional Government of North Sulawesi Province in realizing sustainable and equitable management. The research method used is normative juridical with an analytical descriptive approach based on the study of laws and regulations, official documents, and related literature. The results of the study emphasized the need for regulations that integrate the principles of environmental sustainability, the principles of distributive and participatory justice, as well as adaptive and technology-based supervisory mechanisms. Ideal regulations must also provide clear and flexible authority to local governments by synchronizing policies with the central government level to avoid overlapping authority. Increasing institutional capacity and the active role of coastal communities are the key to effective supervision. This research provides recommendations for regulatory formulation that harmonizes legal, social, and ecological aspects in order to achieve fair and sustainable management of marine resources in North Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the limitations of existing copyright regulations (Laws 28/2014, 40/1999, 32/2002) that create a regulatory vacuum of publisher rights inequality and the legal implications of Presidential Regulation 32/2024 on the responsibility of digital platforms to support quality journalism. It uses a normative legal method with a legislative, conceptual, comparative (Australia-EU), and triangulation approach based on Rawls' theory, Lex Specialis (Manan), and Suzor through qualitative literature study. The results show that Presidential Regulation 32/2024 as a legitimate lex specialis operationalizes publisher rights via distribution priority (Article 5), revenue sharing of Rp105 trillion (Article 7), and the Press Council oversight committee (Articles 9-17), revolutionizing platform capitalism into collaborative co-regulation. The novelty of this research lies in the first Rawls-Lex Specialis-Suzor triangulation analyzing Presidential Regulation No. 32/2024 as Indonesia's digital constitutionalism, filling the gap in conventional copyright literature on algorithmic governance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Employee work discipline is one of the important factors in supporting the effectiveness and improvement of performance in government organizations. Various factors are assumed to influence the level of employee discipline, including leadership supervision, financial compensation, and the implementation of knowledge management that has not been optimally carried out. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership supervision, financial compensation, and knowledge management, both simultaneously and partially, on employee work discipline at the Krueng Sabee Sub-District Office, Aceh Jaya Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation studies, with the research subjects consisting of all employees of the Krueng Sabee Sub-District Office totaling 32 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships and effects among the research variables. The results indicate that leadership supervision, financial compensation, and knowledge management simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work discipline. Partially, each independent variable also shows a positive and significant effect, with knowledge management identified as the most dominant variable influencing employee work discipline. The coefficient of determination reveals that most of the variation in employee work discipline can be explained by these three variables, while the remaining variation is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The findings conclude that improving employee work discipline can be achieved through strengthening leadership supervision, providing adequate financial compensation, and implementing effective and sustainable knowledge management.

Abstract

Background: Infancy and the toddler years constitute a crucial early period in a child's life, making them vulnerable to growth and developmental issues. Infancy spans the ages of 0–12 months, while the toddler stage covers ages 1–5 years. Common issues encountered during these stages include nutritional needs and malnutrition (specifically stunting). Education using animated video media is an effective method for improving mothers' skills in performing Tui Na massage techniques. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of animated video-based education on improving mothers' skills in performing Tui Na massage techniques on infants and toddlers. Research Methods: This was a quantitative study utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of mothers with infants and toddlers who met the inclusion criteria. The instrument used was a questionnaire assessing technique skills, administered before and after the intervention; data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. Results: Analysis revealed an improvement in skills following education via animated videos on Tui Na massage techniques. Statistical testing showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Conclusion: It can be concluded that animated video-based education has an effect on improving mothers' skills in performing Tui Na massage techniques on infants and toddlers.
