Abstract

This research aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 3-4 years through (jumping activities) using a diving board game (used cardboard APE) at KB Az Zahra. In the first semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year. The research method used is the Kemmis and MC model Classroom Action Research method. Taggart, carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of 5 meetings. Each step consists of 4 step, namely : a) planning, b) action, c) observation, d) reflection.Qualitative data analysis was carried out by observing the increase in the development of children’s gross motor ability criteria starting before the cycle until the second cycle. The criteria for children’s gross motor skills were set at 50%. Pre cycle data obtained an average of 57 %, then cycle I data obtained an average percentage of 79%, and cycle II data obtained an average of 83%. From the final results of cycle II, children obtained the highest results at 83%. Meanwhile, the one who got the lowest results with an average percentage of 46% was Raja. The conclusion is that the diving board game with jumping activities can improve the gross motor skills of children aged 3-4 years at KB Az Zahra. Abstract

This study discusses the strengthening of literacy culture in reading yellow books through the Sorogan method at the Darus Salam Dringu Islamic Boarding School, Probolinggo Regency. Yellow books as classical Islamic books have an important role in Islamic boarding school education. However, students' interest in literacy towards these books is still low. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to identify effective strategies in strengthening literacy culture in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study indicate that the Sorogan method, which involves direct interaction between students and teachers, is effective in improving students' understanding of yellow books. In addition, routine reading activities 15 minutes before learning, additional discussion sessions, and the provision of adequate library facilities also support increased literacy interest. However, this study also identifies challenges faced, such as limited access to technology and variations in students' abilities in understanding yellow books. The results of this study indicate that the Darus Salam Dringu Islamic Boarding School has succeeded in implementing several significant literacy strengthening strategies, although further efforts are still needed to overcome existing obstacles. Overall, this study offers a new perspective on the implementation of yellow book literacy in Islamic boarding schools, showing that innovative learning strategies and strengthening facilities can support the development of intellectual abilities and character of students in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of the intensity of playing online games and the supervision of both working parents towards the child's religiosity in MAN 2 Probolinggo. There were 100 students of MAN 2 Probolinggo used as the samples. This study used purposive sampling technique with some criteria. In testing the hypothesis, the researcher utilized regression analysis techniques. The method of data collection was through questionnaires given to respondents. Based on the results of data analysis using logistic regression, it can be seen that the partial influence of the intensity of playing online games showed significance value of 0.000, which was smaller than 0.05, and the supervision of both working parents generated its significance value of 0.000 (smaller than 0.05) towards the religiosity of the child. These results indicate that there is influence of the intensity of playing online games and the supervision of both working parents towards the religiosity of the child in MAN 2 Probolinggo.

Abstract

Society puts a great expectation on the importance of character education. Recently there is an imbalance between educational outcomes and other deviant behavior. This study was to explain the correlation of variables of the social godliness and religiosity in the family to the morality behavior of teenagers. The approach used was quantitative. The data were collected using a questionnaire. Test data analysis was carried out in the form of a pre-requisite analysis test (normality, linearity, and multicollinearity test) and hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive influence on Social Godliness and Religiosity in the Family together on the moral behavior of teenage students. This was indicated by the F test result which obtained an F value of 13.544 with a significance of F 0.000 or F <0.05. The results of the multiple regression test showed that the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.366. The coefficient of determination showed the large contribution of the two independent variables to the dependent variable. This contribution meant that social Godliness and religiosity in the family connect 36.6% of results of the Teenager Morality Behavior, while the remaining 63.4% was influenced by other variables which were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research examines the importance of integrating ethics and morals in education at junior high school level, with a focus on implementation at Permata Integrated Islamic Middle School. This study highlights the implementation of a curriculum that is integrated with Islamic principles and character education, as well as various school programs designed to instill moral values in students. Using qualitative methods, this research found that a curriculum that includes ethical and moral values is successful in shaping student behavior in everyday life. The implementation of programs such as tahfidz, tahsin, and other religious activities, supported by an interactive approach and parental involvement, has proven effective in instilling strong Islamic values. However, this research also notes the challenges faced in the learning process, especially those related to the influence of the home environment and relationships outside of school. Overall, this research concludes that a holistic approach that includes educational interventions, community involvement, and close relationships between schools and parents, is able to create an environment that supports students' ethical and moral development, as well as preparing them to face ethical dilemmas with integrity.

Abstract

This research explores the transformation of Kyai Langgar's role in spreading religious values ​​amidst ever-developing social dynamics. Using a qualitative approach, this research reveals how Kyai Langgar, as a spiritual leader, not only plays a role as a religious teacher, but also as an agent of significant social change. Kyai Langgar is active in various religious activities such as congregational prayers, regular recitations, and reciting the Koran, and plays an important role in developing the younger generation and maintaining social harmony. This research also identifies the challenges faced by Kyai Langgar, including the influence of modernization, social and cultural diversity, and the use of technology and social media. Despite facing these various challenges, Kyai Langgar remains consistent in spreading the values ​​of religiosity with an inclusive approach that focuses on social welfare. This research emphasizes the important role of Kyai Langgar in maintaining morality and social stability amidst the modernization process. In addition, this research recommends increasing the involvement of Kyai Langgar in social and educational development programs at the village level to improve the quality of life of the community. These findings provide new insight into how Kyai Langgar adapts to social change, reflecting the combination of tradition and modernity in the context of Indonesian society's religiosity. Highlights: Kyai Langgar serves as a spiritual leader and agent of social change in Ngepoh Village. Abstract

The formation of a strong and dignified character is the main challenge in individual development. One effective approach is through example, where positive role models become the main foundation in guiding individuals to acquire and internalize values, morality and integrity in their lives. This research highlights exemplary education at the Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on the exemplary forms shown by caregivers. The research method used is qualitative with data sources obtained through observation, field notes, interviews and personal documents. The results of the research concluded that the example of kiyai at the Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School includes several aspects, including patience, devotion to worship, humility, asceticism, good morals, self-confidence in preaching, and exemplary politics. It is hoped that an in-depth understanding of these forms of example can make a positive contribution to the formation of the character of students, not only in the realm of religion, but also in daily life and participation in society.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges of using digital tools in education for children who tend to spend time playing online games at MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari, Banjarsari District. Sumberasih. In the digital era, the use of digital tools in learning is becoming increasingly important. However, children's tendency to spend time playing online games can be a barrier to the effective use of digital tools in educational settings. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research subjects were teachers, parents and students of MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari District. Sumberasih has a tendency to spend time playing online games. The research results show that there are several challenges in using digital tools in children's education at MI AT-Tarbiyah Banjarsari. Factors such as parents' lack of understanding of the benefits of digital tools in education, limited access to technology, and the strong appeal of online games are the main obstacles. This research recommends the need to increase parents' understanding of the benefits of digital tools in education, the active involvement of teachers in developing interesting educational content, and the development of school policies that support the positive use of digital tools. In this way, it is hoped that we can overcome challenges and increase the effectiveness of the use of digital devices in improving the quality of education for children who tend to spend time playing online games.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti bagaimana mahasiswa Institut Ahmad Dahlan Probolinggo mempertahankan nilai-nilai karakter santri. Pendidikan karakter diintegrasikan melalui pendidikan agama dan praktik sehari-hari di lingkungan akademis. Metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan untuk menggali pemahaman dan praktik mahasiswa terhadap nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan kemandirian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menunjukkan pemahaman mendalam terhadap nilai-nilai tersebut, meskipun menghadapi tantangan akademis dan sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam mendukung pengembangan karakter santri, dan menawarkan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat program pembinaan karakter melalui kolaborasi antara pendidikan formal dan informal. Sinergi antara semua pihak, termasuk mahasiswa, dosen, dan institusi, diperlukan untuk mempertahankan dan mengembangkan karakter generasi muda yang berintegritas dan berakhlak

Abstract

Ponsel pintar adalah salah satu bentuk teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang paling banyak digunakan, berkat kemudahan, kecanggihannya, serta keterhubungannya dengan internet. Anak-anak, sebagai pengguna ponsel pintar, berisiko mengalami dampak negatif akibat penggunaan perangkat ini. Orang tua, yang merupakan individu terdekat dengan anak-anak, perlu memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai tentang cara mengatur dan mengawasi penggunaan ponsel pintar agar anak-anak tidak terpengaruh secara negatif. Google Family Link adalah aplikasi yang dapat membantu orang tua dalam memantau dan mengontrol penggunaan ponsel pintar oleh anak. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pelatihan dan pengarahan mengenai aplikasi ini dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung orang tua dalam pengawasan dan pengendalian. Melalui pelatihan tersebut, diharapkan orang tua dapat memahami dan menggunakan aplikasi Google Family Link dengan baik. Kegiatan pengarahan dan pelatihan ini diharapkan memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi keluarga.
