Abstract

This study aims to improve young children's interest in reading the Qur'an through the use of recycled materials (paper) as a learning medium at PAUD Inayah Hakiki, Sungai Raja Village, NA IX–X District, Labuhanbatu Utara Regency. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were early childhood students, while data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed an increase in children's interest and ability to read the Qur'an after the implementation of recycled material media. In Cycle I, the children's ability levels were 35% fluent, 15% moderate, and 50% low, whereas in Cycle II they improved to 40% fluent, 15% moderate, and 45% low. This improvement indicates that learning using recycled materials made children more interested, active, and enthusiastic in recognizing and pronouncing hijaiyah letters correctly according to their articulation points. Therefore, the use of recycled materials proved effective in enhancing young children’s interest in reading the Qur'an, offering a creative and engaging alternative learning strategy in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

Guru dituntut mempunyai kompetensi menyusun bahan ajar sendiri. Oleh sebab itu, artikel ini ditujukan 1) meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar melalui In House Training (IHT) penyusunan bahan ajar mata pelajaran yang berkelanjutan, 2) menyusun langkah-langkah In House Training (IHT) penyusunan bahan ajar mata pelajaran yang berkelanjutan, 3) meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas bahan ajar yang dibuat guru sendiri secara mandiri. Landasan teori adalah kompetensi manajerial dan kewirausahaan kepala sekolah untuk memperbaiki kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 7 Pekanbaru, waktu penelitian bulan Oktober dan November 2021. Penelitian menghasilkan temuan bahwa IHT berkelanjutan berupa in dan on service. Kegiatan on service terjadi perubahan kompetensi sikap dan keterampilan guru kuantitas dan kualitas bahan ajar. Jumlah bahan ajar yang dibuat guru bertambah dari 25% menjadi 80%. Dan kualitas bahan ajar berubah dari nilai 2.5 mendekati katagori kurang menjadi 3,5 melebihi katagori cukup. Kesimpulan dari PTS pada artikel ini adalah 1) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar melalui In House Training (IHT) penyusunan bahan ajar mata pelajaran yang berkelanjutan, 2) bentuk IHT yang dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk pelatihan berbasis kompetensi, dan 3) untuk melanjutkan IHT berkelanjutan dalam penyusunan bahan ajar sendiri agar meningkatkan kuatitas dan kulitas bahan ajar yang dibuat sendiri oleh guru.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digitalization, the banking industry faces increasingly complex challenges, such as intense competition, regulatory changes, and rising customer expectations for fast, secure, and high-quality services. In this context, employee performance becomes a key factor in determining the bank's ability to adapt and grow. Employee performance not only includes technical competence in carrying out banking tasks but also skills in serving customers, mitigating risks, and maintaining the institution's reputation and trust. Theoretically, this research is based on the concept of business administration, which views organizations as a series of interconnected activities to achieve objectives, including effective human resource management. In the workplace, employees' perceptions of their environment and the feedback provided by supervisors play an important role in shaping attitudes, motivation, and performance. This study employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of employee performance dynamics in the field. The findings indicate that employees who consistently apply the principles of Amanah, Shiddiq, Fathanah, and Tabligh tend to receive constructive feedback that encourages performance improvement. Conversely, employees who are less optimal in applying these principles generally receive corrective feedback as a form of guidance. Properly delivered feedback has been shown to strengthen positive employee behavior, as explained in reinforcement theory, which states that behavior is more likely to be repeated when it results in favorable consequences. Overall, the performance of BAS Lhokseumawe Branch employees is categorized as good, as reflected in the achievement of targets and compliance with sharia principles. This study suggests that management should enhance the quality of communication in providing feedback, including through training for unit leaders to deliver objective, constructive, and empathetic feedback, thus improving employee motivation without creating psychological pressure.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive qualitative research that examines the Implementation of the Elderly Health Service Program at the Rantau Subdistrict Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Aceh Tamiang Regency. The focus of this research is to analyze the program's mechanism, its implementation, and the obstacles faced in providing elderly health services. This study employs Grindle's theory of policy implementation, which emphasizes that the success of implementation is influenced by the content of the policy and the context of its implementation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed by combining field findings with the theoretical framework. The results show that the elderly health program at the Rantau Subdistrict Puskesmas has been implemented through planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation, which are realized in activities such as the Elderly Clinic (Poli Lansia), Elderly Integrated Service Post (Posyandu Lansia), elderly gymnastics, health counseling, and home visits. The program implementation has followed the guidelines and increased elderly participation; however, it remains limited to basic health services. The main obstacles in implementation include a shortage of medical personnel, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, limited accessibility for elderly in remote areas, and suboptimal cross-sectoral coordination. Based on these findings, this research recommends strengthening the implementation mechanism through data-based planning, capacity building for health workers and elderly health cadres, provision of more complete health facilities and infrastructure, and the establishment of cross-sectoral coordination forums. Furthermore, the role of families and communities needs to be enhanced to support the sustainability of elderly health services.

Abstract

This research was initiated to identify the issues faced by women farmers in Bener Meriah Regency which have been mostly experienced due to inequality of resources, training, and technology. This effort aims at establishing a gender equitable business model to enhance well-being of women farmers through the use of eco-friendly and sustainable technology. As one of the proposed solution is the using of greenhouse technology that integrated with solar panel in order to minimize problem of weather unreliable, especially during drying process in Arabica coffee bean. Furthermore, it also serves as a solution on the needs of on how of Bukit Diana Makmur Producers Cooperative with their Cavendish banana derivative product processing, by applying solar panels to inflate its ovens and stirrers in making biscuits. The study findings provide evidence to suggested that use of Green House and solar energy for chilling operations are beneficial in enhancing production efficiency, minimizing the requirement of conventional source of energy and increasing product capacity and quality. Facilitation of processing and agricultural production tools will enable increase of volume, improve positison in ther market and indirectly increased the income pf farmer group members to improve their welfare. The study recommends that sustainable technology should be adopted among women’s farmers in the area.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Menopause merupakan proses yang sangat alamiah dan normal pada setiap wanita. Sejak usia 45-55 tahun, jam biologis wanita akan berhenti berdetik, menandakan berakhirnya masa subur dan berkurangnya kadar hormone eksrtogen serta progesteron dan semakin meningkatnya usia, nutrisi yang masuk kedalam tubuh juga harus diperhatikan. Kesiapan menghadapi menopause, dengan mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi yaitu mengkonsumsi makanan dengan gizi seimbang. Pemenuhan akan gizi yang seimbang sangat membantu dalam menghambat bernagai dampak negative menopause terhadap kinerja otak, mencegah kulit kering serta berbagai penyakit lainnya Metode pengabdian: Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan langsung kepada masyarakat berupa pemberian materi dalam bentuk PPT, leaflet dan poster tentang kebutuhan gizi pada masa menopause di klinik bersalin pratama jaya. Hasil pengabdian: Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan rebusan kebutuhan gizi pada masa menopause di Klinik Bersalin Pratama Jaya terdapat 40 orang ibu menopause yang mayoritasnya memiliki pengetahuan cukup tentang kebutuhan gizi pada masa menopause. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan yang telah dilaksanakan dapat memberikan tambahan pengetahuan dan wawasan bagi masyarakat khususnya para ibu menopause agar dapat lebih sehat dimasa tuanya Kata kunci: Menopause, Lansia, Gizi

Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Kepala sekolah telah mengimplementasikan kewirausahaan dalam mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran kolaboratif di SD Negeri 22 Sawang Kabupaten Aceh Utara, namun belum maksimal. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan atau kurangnya konsistensi dan dukungan sumber daya. Kewirausahaan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran kolaboratif berdampak positif di antaranya, peningkatan inovasi dan kreativitas guru, peningkatan budaya kerja sama yang kuat, peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, dan optimalisasi sumber daya sekolah. Kepala sekolah juga menghadapi faktor penghambat berupa keterbatasan dana dan sarana penunjang, guru enggan keluar dari zona nyaman dan menolak metode kolaboratif baru, keterbatasan kompetensi dan waktu kepala sekolah. Kondisi ini berdampak pada belum optimalnya implementasi kewirausahaan dalam mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran kolaboratif tersebut menunjukkan ada gap antara harapan (dampak positif) dan kenyataan (penghambat).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the urgency of legal protection for children against early marriage practices within the jurisdiction of the Mahkamah Syar'iyah Banda Aceh. Although the Marriage Law has established a minimum age limit of 19 years, the phenomenon of marriage dispensation continues to occur with various complex backgrounds. Utilizing an empirical juridical research method, this study examines the implementation of law in society through statutory and case approaches. The results indicate six primary determinants driving early marriage: economic factors, low education levels, parental influence, matchmaking practices, social environmental pressure, and personal factors or free association. Judges at the Mahkamah Syar'iyah Banda Aceh grant dispensation requests based on considerations of humanity, safety of life, educational continuity, and protection of offspring. Legal protection for children in this context refers to the guarantee of human rights to marry of free will without coercion as regulated in Article 10 paragraph (2) of the Human Rights Law, as well as preventive efforts through the collective responsibility of families and the government.

Abstract

AbstrakPraktik korupsi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi masih menjadi tantangan serius dalam mewujudkan tata kelola kampus yang berintegritas, mengingat perguruan tinggi merupakan ruang strategis dalam pembentukan karakter generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan program edukasi budaya anti-korupsi berbasis pembelajaran partisipatif sebagai upaya penguatan sikap akuntabilitas mahasiswa. Mitra sasaran kegiatan adalah mahasiswa dari tiga fakultas di perguruan tinggi, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 120 orang yang dipilih secara purposif. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan edukatif yang dilaksanakan selama delapan minggu melalui pendekatan participatory learning, meliputi penyampaian materi konseptual, studi kasus kontekstual, diskusi reflektif, simulasi pengambilan keputusan etis, serta refleksi individu. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pengukuran sikap akuntabilitas sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan instrumen yang telah tervalidasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata sikap akuntabilitas mahasiswa dari 3,42 pada tahap awal menjadi 4,15 pada tahap akhir (skala 5), dengan selisih peningkatan sebesar 0,73 poin yang signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,01). Peningkatan terjadi pada indikator kejujuran, tanggung jawab, transparansi, dan keberanian melapor. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi budaya anti-korupsi berbasis pembelajaran partisipatif efektif dalam memperkuat akuntabilitas mahasiswa serta mendukung pengembangan budaya integritas dan tata kelola kampus yang baik. Kata kunci: edukasi anti‑korupsi; akuntabilitas; gratifikasi; participatory learning; perguruan tinggi. AbstractCorrupt practices in the university environment are still a serious challenge in realizing campus governance with integrity, considering that universities are strategic spaces in the formation of the character of the younger generation. This community service activity aims to develop and implement an anti-corruption cultural education program based on participatory learning as an effort to strengthen student accountability attitudes. The target partners of the activity were students from three faculties at universities, with a total of 120 participants who were selected purposively. The method of implementing activities in the form of training and educational assistance which was carried out for eight weeks through a participatory learning approach, included the delivery of conceptual materials, contextual case studies, reflective discussions, simulations of ethical decision-making, and individual reflection. Evaluation of activities is carried out through the measurement of accountability attitudes before and after the implementation of activities using validated instruments. The results showed an increase in the average score of student accountability attitudes from 3.42 in the initial stage to 4.15 in the final stage (scale 5), with a difference of 0.73 points in a statistically significant increase (p < 0.01). An increase occurred in the indicators of honesty, responsibility, transparency, and courage to report. These findings show that participatory learning-based anti-corruption culture education activities are effective in strengthening student accountability and supporting the development of a culture of integrity and good campus governance. Keywords: anti-corruption education; accountability; gratuities; participatory learning; colleges.
