Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the supervision of the school principal in improving the quality of teacher learning at SMP Negeri 2 Sandai. The main focus of this study is how the supervision of the school principal can enhance the quality of teacher learning. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The participants involved in the study consist of 8 individuals, including the school principal and teachers. The age range of the participants is between 23 and 58 years, encompassing both males and females. Data collection methods were gathered through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis related to supervision and its impacts. The main findings of this research reveal the following: First, the role of the school principal in supervision. The principal not only acts as an administrative leader but also as a partner in improving the quality of learning by establishing good communication, conducting regular supervision, and providing constructive feedback to teachers. Second, the supporting factors for the quality of learning include the principal's support in organizing training for teachers, the utilization of innovative learning media, and a conducive school environment for the teaching and learning process. Third, the evaluation of the principal's supervision in enhancing the quality of learning. The principal uses a data-driven approach in classroom observations, provides constructive feedback, and encourages teachers to continuously develop their professional competencies through training and discussions. In conclusion, the supervision conducted by the principal at SMP Negeri 2 Sandai is effective, characterized by an open and communicative approach. These supporting factors collectively create an effective learning atmosphere, enhance the motivation of both teachers and students, and encourage innovation in the learning process. The evaluation of supervision by the principal demonstrates that effective leadership in supervision can improve teaching quality, motivate teachers to develop, and directly impact the improvement of learning outcomes. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengawasan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru di SMP Negeri 2 Sandai. Fokus utama dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengawasan kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 orang, termasuk kepala sekolah dan para guru. Rentang usia partisipan antara 23 hingga 58 tahun, mencakup laki-laki dan perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen yang berkaitan dengan pengawasan dan dampaknya. Temuan utama dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: Pertama, peran kepala sekolah dalam pengawasan. Kepala sekolah tidak hanya berperan sebagai pemimpin administratif, tetapi juga sebagai mitra dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan membangun komunikasi yang baik, melakukan pengawasan secara rutin, dan memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif kepada guru. Kedua, faktor-faktor pendukung kualitas pembelajaran meliputi dukungan kepala sekolah dalam menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi guru, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang inovatif, serta lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif untuk proses belajar mengajar. Ketiga, evaluasi pengawasan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kepala sekolah menggunakan pendekatan berbasis data dalam observasi kelas, memberikan umpan balik yang membangun, serta mendorong guru untuk terus mengembangkan kompetensi profesional mereka melalui pelatihan dan diskusi. Kesimpulannya, pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 2 Sandai tergolong efektif, ditandai dengan pendekatan yang terbuka dan komunikatif. Faktor-faktor pendukung ini secara keseluruhan menciptakan suasana belajar yang efektif, meningkatkan motivasi baik bagi guru maupun siswa, serta mendorong inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi terhadap pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam pengawasan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, memotivasi guru untuk berkembang, dan secara langsung berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in the classroom carried out by driving teachers in Sambas District. The implementation of differentiated learning studied from driving teachers includes the ability to compile teaching modules and carry out differentiated learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the subject of the study being a driving teacher who teaches in four elementary schools in Sambas District. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Hubermen models. Triangulation is carried out by member check and technical triangulation. The results of the study showed that the driving teachers had prepared very well differentiated learning teaching modules, according to the learning plan components obtained a score of 97.57%. Carrying out the learning process was carried out very well, starting from the opening activities, core activities, and closing activities with a score of 94.92%. This study concludes that the pedagogic competence of driving teachers in Sambas District is very good in implementing differentiated learning according to the demands of the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui 1) konsep dari Kampung Hijau Bang Jago Kota Pontianak dalam mewujudkan karakter peduli lingkungan, 2) dampak keterlibatan masyarakat di Kampung Hijau Bang Jago Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus (case study). Subjek penelitian yang dipakai yaitu Lurah Tengah, pengurus Kampung Hijau Bang Jago, ketua RW 007, ketua RT 001, dan masyarakat lokal. Peneliti dalam hal mengumpulkan data dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Kemudian, dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kampung Hijau Bang Jago terdiri berbagai konsep dalam mewujudkan karakter peduli lingkungan berupa latar belakang program, tujuan program, sasaran program, pendekatan program, bentuk program pendukung, pendanaan program, dan sosialiasasi program, 2) dampak keterlibatan masyarakat di Kampung Hijau Bang Jago dapat dilihat dari segi sosial, ekonomi, edukasi, perlindungan dan pengelolaan lingkungan hidup, dan kesehatan.   The aim of this research is to find out 1) the concept of Kampung Hijau Bang Jago, Pontianak city in realizing an environmentally caring character, 2) the impact of community involvement in Kampung Hijau Bang Jago, Pontianak city. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects used were the central village head, the Bang Jago Green Village administrator, the head of RW 007, the head of RT 001, and the local community. Researchers collect data by means of observation, documentation and interviews. Then, it was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results that have been obtained previously show that 1) Kampung Hijau Bang Jago consists of various concepts in realizing the character of caring for the environment in the form of program background, program objectives, program targets, program approaches, forms of supporting programs, program funding, and program socialization, 2) impact Community involvement in Kampung Hijau Bang Jago can be seen in terms of social, economic, educational, environmental protection and management, and health.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the civic engagement of Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas in improving literacy read. Based on the results of this research, the researchers found PKBM volunteers. The PKBM holds a number of programs starting from setting up huts learning, tutoring, digital libraries,reading in the environment, learning english and eradicating illiteracy. Civic engagement volunteers include dedicating themselves as volunteers, collaborating with several parties, providing an understanding of the importance of literacy, and as a mentor in increase literacy. The factors behind volunteers being involded in PKBM Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas activities are social factors, self develompment, the same goal, and contributing to society. Obstacles faced by volunteers include obstacles in the field of funding, lack of teaching staff from volunteers, not all volunteers are present during activities, and there are not enough self-confident. Meanwhile, solutions include making donations from fellow volunteers, opening up recruiting volunteers, holding regular evaluations of each activity and taking turns be responsible for the activity. Thus, the actions taken by PKBM Rumah Pintar Punggur Cerdas volunteers are included in civic engagement.

Abstract

Abstract This article explains the life of Indonesian female scavengers in facing the double burden phenomenon that occurs at the TPA Batu Layang Departing from C. Wright Mills' theory, this article discusses how structural poverty can encourage the double burden phenomenon. The qualitative method of the phenomenological approach is used in this study. Seen from its history, female scavengers are refugees who migrated to Pontianak City and chose to work as scavengers due to the Madurese and Malay ethnic conflict in 1999. Low resources, high economic demands make it difficult for female scavengers to get a prosperous life so they decide to play a dual role. It was found that out of 12 female scavengers, only 5 scavengers received social assistance because there was no equal distribution of social assistance from the government, so they had not received their rights and justice. The scavengers' mindset regarding the importance of education has now begun to change with evidence that some of their children continue their education to a higher level of education. This article argues that government support in the form of increasing women's resources, social assistance and education has a significant impact on the welfare of female scavenger families amidst the double burden phenomenon they experience

Abstract

This study aims to describe the sense of community belonging that can increase community involvement and develop values ​​of virtue in the community. The research method used is a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the forms of community involvement include the community being able to contribute, organize, carry out actions or actions, motivate each other, and be responsible for involvement in activities, as well as the values ​​of community virtue that develop as supporters in the implementation of actions. The sense of belonging is based on four indicators in the form of a strong sense of belonging, pleasure, commitment, and having a moral level. There are supporting factors for community involvement, in the form of opportunities, awareness, ability, community interests, and encouragement from the village government, and the inhibiting factors that arise are the lack of opportunities and community awareness. More efforts are needed to motivate and provide understanding to awaken the sense of community belonging.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of principal leadership and family–teacher synergy on the prosocial behavior of elementary school students at SD Negeri 05 Pontianak Selatan. A quantitative survey approach was employed, with data collected from 88 students in Grades IV, V, and VI using validated questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis, including percentage analysis to categorize variables and regression analysis to examine the relationships among variables. The results indicate that students’ prosocial behavior was generally at a positive level, with most students categorized as high, although variations were observed across dimensions. Helping and sharing showed the highest levels, while empathy and environmental care still require improvement. Principal leadership demonstrated strong effectiveness, particularly in community empowerment and instructional leadership. Similarly, family–teacher synergy showed high effectiveness, especially in learning support and character-building collaboration, although communication and value consistency remain areas for improvement. The findings suggest that concrete prosocial behaviors are more easily developed through habituation, whereas more complex behaviors require structured and continuous interventions. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of strengthening transformational leadership and enhancing collaboration between schools and families to create a supportive educational ecosystem. It also underscores the need for differentiated character education programs and more intensive communication strategies to optimize students’ prosocial development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan suatu tradisi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong yaitu tradisi Pedagi. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Latar belakang terjadinya tradisi Pedagi pada masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong Kelurahan Bunut Kecamatan Kapuas Kabupaten Sanggau sebagai bentuk ungkapan rasa terima kasih masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant kepada Penompa (Tuhan) atas segala kesehatan dan berkat yang telah diberikan melalui perantara Pedagi Akek Badol dan Akek Cuer. Tahap pelaksanaan tradisi Pedagi terdiri dari tempat pelaksanaan tradisi Pedagi, Masyarakat mengadakan musyawarah, masyarakat yang mengikuti Tradisi Pedagi di Embaong, dan Penyelenggaraan ritual adat Pedagi di Embaong. Nilai-Nilai dalam tradisi Pedagi pada masyarakat Dayak Pangkodant di Embaong terdiri dari nilai religius, nilai gotong royong, dan nilai budaya.
