Abstract

This study aims provides practical recommendations on aligning compensation strategies with corporate values and adapting them to meet the evolving needs of the workforce. This is especially relevant for organizations like UD Erwin, which are looking to create a sustainable, motivated, and loyal workforce. The paper's focus on both financial and non-financial aspects of employee well-being makes it particularly valuable for managers, HR professionals, and organizational leaders who want to enhance employee engagement, ensure job satisfaction, and ultimately improve organizational performance. The findings offer actionable insights that can be implemented in real-world business contexts, helping organizations build stronger relationships with employees, adapt to changing economic conditions, and thrive in a competitive environment. The future success of UD Erwin hinges on its ability to adapt its compensation strategies and organizational culture to the evolving needs of its workforce. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of village apparatus work in completing administration in Bawosalo’o Dao-Dao Village, Hilimegai District, South Nias Regency. Villages as the leading government unit have an important role in providing effective public services to the community. However, the effectiveness of village apparatus work is often not optimal due to limited human resources, lack of training, weak work discipline, and lack of application of information technology. The focus of this study includes the level of effectiveness of village apparatus work and factors that influence the completion of village administration. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. This study found that the effectiveness of village apparatus work is influenced by individual competence, organizational culture, leadership, and the work systems and procedures applied. The low level of attendance and work discipline of village apparatus are the main challenges that affect the completion of administration. This study is expected to provide strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of village apparatus work through training, competency development, application of information technology, and improvement of organizational culture and leadership.

Abstract

Research background: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of government programs, especially the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) and School Operational Assistance (BOS), in increasing education participation in Nias Regency. Purpose of the article: This study indicate that education participation in Nias Regency still faces significant challenges, especially those related to family economic factors, limited education infrastructure, and geographical distance between villages. The PIP and BOS programs have made a positive contribution to easing the burden of education costs, but have not been able to fully overcome the structural and cultural barriers that influence children's decisions to continue school. Methods: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation from various related parties such as teachers, students, parents, and education officials.

Abstract

Employee retention is a technique used by a company or organization to retain employees for a longer period. Employee retention is very important for companies because losing experienced and quality employees can negatively impact the organization and significantly affect its performance and productivity. This is also true for PT Liquid Kencana Abadi located at Jalan Diponegoro 346, Ilir, Kec. Gunungsitoli, Gunungsitoli City, North Sumatra. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee retention at PT Liquid Kencana Abadi in Gunungsitoli City. This research employs a quantitative method, with respondents consisting of 35 employees from PT Liquid Kencana Abadi in Gunungsitoli City. The researcher collected data using a questionnaire and then conducted validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test), simple linear regression,coefficient of determination, t-test, and f-test. The results indicate that the influence of compensation and job satisfaction on employee retention at PT Liquid Kencana Abadi in Gunungsitoli City is 79.6%, while 20.4% is influenced by other factors not addressed in this study.

Abstract

Human Resource Planning (HRP) is a systematic process for identifying, developing, and allocating human resources within an organization toachieve its goals and objectives. This study aims to investigate the influence of human resource planning (HRP) on teacher performance at SMKSwasta Kristen Harapan Sejahtera.This research employs a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The study was conducted at SMK SwastaKristen Harapan Sejahtera with a sample size of 30 respondents. The findings indicate that human resource planning has a significant influenceon teacher performance, both directly and indirectly. Based on the Coefficient of Determination test, the obtained Adjusted R Square value is0.311 or 31.1%. This result shows that the Human Resource Planning variable affects Teacher Performance by 31.1%, while the remaining 68.9%is influenced by other variables outside this study. Overall, the results suggest that Human Resource Planning (X) significantly influences TeacherPerformance (Y), as evidenced by the t-test result of 4.789 > 0.05.This study highlights the importance of human resource planning in improving teacher performance and achieving effective educational goals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pemerintah desa dalam mempertahankan budaya gotong royong di Desa Hiligara, Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Selatan, di tengah tantangan modernisasi, migrasi, serta perubahan sosial-ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan data sekunder bersumber dari dokumen resmi desa serta literatur ilmiah terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah desa memiliki peran strategis sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan penggerak utama dalam menjaga keberlangsungan gotong royong. Upaya yang dilakukan antara lain melalui musyawarah desa, pemberian insentif, pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi, kolaborasi dengan tokoh adat, tokoh agama, serta integrasi kegiatan gotong royong dengan program pembangunan desa. Meskipun budaya gotong royong menghadapi tantangan berupa menurunnya partisipasi generasi muda, migrasi tenaga produktif, serta dominasi nilai individualistik, pemerintah desa mampu menerapkan strategi adaptif yang sejalan dengan teori perubahan sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis pada kajian kepemimpinan partisipatif dan community development, serta implikasi praktis bagi penguatan kebijakan pembangunan berbasis budaya lokal. Dengan demikian, gotong royong tidak hanya menjadi warisan tradisi, tetapi juga instrumen pembangunan desa berkelanjutan yang relevan dalam menghadapi dinamika globalisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis resistensi pegawai dalam penerapan disiplin kerja pada Kantor Kecamatan Mazo Kabupaten Nias Selatan. Resistensi pegawai merupakan tantangan besar dalam upaya meningkatkan disiplin kerja di lingkungan pemerintahan yang dapat menghambat produktivitas dan kualitas pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap 6 informan yang terdiri dari Camat, Sekretaris Camat, Kepala Seksi, pegawai administrasi, dan tokoh masyarakat. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa resistensi pegawai dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja bukan merupakan penolakan mutlak, melainkan lebih disebabkan oleh faktor adaptasi terhadap perubahan budaya kerja. Faktor-faktor penyebab resistensi meliputi kebiasaan lama yang sulit diubah, kurangnya komunikasi efektif antara pimpinan dan pegawai, lemahnya sistem pengawasan dan sanksi, kekhawatiran pegawai terhadap dampak ekonomi, serta kurangnya motivasi dan kejelasan pembagian tugas. Resistensi ini berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan publik dimana masyarakat mengapresiasi keramahan pegawai namun masih mengkritik keterlambatan dan kurangnya konsistensi layanan. Untuk mengatasi resistensi, diperlukan pendekatan menyeluruh melalui kepemimpinan yang konsisten dan memberikan keteladanan, komunikasi dua arah yang efektif, pelibatan aktif pegawai dalam pengambilan keputusan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta evaluasi kinerja yang adil dan transparan. Dengan pendekatan yang bijak dan komitmen bersama dari seluruh komponen organisasi, transformasi menuju budaya kerja yang lebih disiplin dan produktif sangat mungkin terwujud untuk meningkatkan kinerja internal organisasi dan kualitas pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen pada Murai Coffee Gunungsitoli. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 55 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji f dan koefisien determinasi yang dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 27. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel promosi dan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan perolehan nilai f hitung sebesar 81,781 > 3,172 f tabel. Secara pasrial variabel promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen dengan signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05 dan perolehan nilai t hitung sebesar 3,299 > 1,674 t tabel dan variabel harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan perolehan nilai t hitung sebesar 6,654 > 1,674 t tabel. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa variabel promosi dan harga baik secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen dan disarankan supaya Murai Coffee Gunungsitoli untuk melakukan kegiatan promosi yang lebih efektif serta mempertimbangkan strategi harga yang kompetitif dan tetap mempertahankan nilai dan manfaat produk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran job description terhadap kinerja perangkat desa di Kantor Desa Lasarabahili, Gunungsitoli. Perangkat desa memiliki peran strategis dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pelayanan publik, sehingga diperlukan uraian jabatan yang jelas, sistematis, dan terstruktur untuk mendukung efektivitas kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, melibatkan informan kunci dan utama dari unsur perangkat desa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur dan hierarki jabatan telah terbentuk dengan baik, namun uraian tugas belum terdokumentasi secara lengkap, indikator kinerja belum terukur, SOP belum tersusun secara formal, dan mekanisme promosi jabatan belum memiliki sistem yang baku. Ketersediaan perlengkapan kerja dinilai cukup memadai, namun memerlukan pembaruan untuk menunjang kinerja yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyusunan job description yang lengkap dan penerapan SOP serta sistem evaluasi kinerja yang terukur sangat penting untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kualitas pelayanan pemerintahan desa.

Abstract

Background: In this research, the researcher will analyze the realization of community empowerment in village programs in the government of Nazalou Lolowua Village, Alo'oa District, Gunungsitoli. During the research observation, the researcher found dissatisfaction among the villagers regarding the lack of availability and quality of sewing course training organized by the village government. Method: The objectives of this research are to determine the analysis of the realization of community empowerment planning in the implementation of Village Government programs and to identify efforts to achieve the realization of community empowerment planning on the programs of Nazalou Lolowua Village Government, Alo'oa District, Gunungsitoli. This research employs qualitative methods and data collection techniques involving observation, documentation, and interviews. Results: The findings of this research indicate that the Nazalou Lolowua Village Government, in the development of the economic programs for the Nazalou Lolowua Village community, specifically in sewing and computer courses, faces limitations in terms of the quantity of sewing machines and computers procured, limited training time, and limited community participation. Conclusion: As a result, the planning fulfillment in community economic development is not comprehensively accommodated and cannot be developed by the community in their daily lives. The Nazalou Lolowua Village Government needs to make efforts to meet the needs of the community by absorbing aspirations to understand the actual conditions required by the community.
