Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi dan bentuk pendidikan etika serta kesadaran digital dalam konteks penggunaan media sosial di era inovasi Artificial Intelligence (AI). Fokus kajian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan etika baru yang muncul dari integrasi AI di platform media sosial dan merumuskan kerangka pendidikan yang relevan untuk membangun literasi digital yang bertanggung jawab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur sistematis dengan pendekatan kualitatif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi AI memperuncing masalah etika bermedia sosial, seperti disinformasi yang terpersonalisasi, bias algoritma, pelanggaran privasi data, dan manipulasi psikologis. Kajian ini mengonfirmasi bahwa pendidikan etika digital konvensional tidak lagi memadai. Diperlukan pendekatan pendidikan yang proaktif dan adaptif, menekankan pada pemahaman kritis terhadap cara kerja algoritma, nilai privasi, keaslian identitas digital, serta tanggung jawab moral dalam berinteraksi di ruang yang telah dimediasi AI. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan etika dan kesadaran digital berbasis AI menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam kurikulum formal dan non-formal untuk membentuk pengguna media sosial yang cakap dan berintegritas di era disruptif ini. Untuk mewujudkan pendekatan pendidikan yang adaptif tersebut, diperlukan kolaborasi multidimensional antara pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, perusahaan teknologi, dan komunitas. Kurikulum perlu dirancang secara dinamis, tidak hanya menyajikan teori tetapi juga simulasi interaksi dengan lingkungan digital berbasis AI, seperti praktik mengidentifikasi deepfake, menganalisis bias algoritma rekomendasi, atau menilai implikasi etis dari penyebaran data pribadi.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to train new students in utilizing the Quillbot Artificial Intelligence application as a tool to reduce plagiarism in scientific works. The implementation method of this research consists of three main stages, namely: (1) Preparation Stage, including needs analysis through an initial survey and preparation of training materials; (2) Implementation Stage, carried out through training seminars with interactive lecture methods, direct demonstrations of the use of Quillbot features (such as paraphraser, summarizer, and grammar checker), as well as practice and mentoring (coaching clinic); and (3). The results of the study indicate that this training succeeded in significantly improving the understanding and skills of participants.  Participants' knowledge of responsible paraphrasing techniques increased by an average of 75%. Furthermore, during the practical session, participants were able to reduce the plagiarism rate in the given example texts from an average of 80% to below 15%, while maintaining academic integrity and the original meaning of the referenced sources. The conclusion of this activity is that structured training on the use of the AI Quillbot, oriented towards academic ethics, effectively empowers new students to produce more original writing and avoid plagiarism.

Abstract

The digital divide remains a significant barrier to equitable educational access in developing nations, particularly affecting marginalized students in underserved regions. This longitudinal qualitative study examines the effectiveness of a device provision and digital literacy training program implemented across three schools in rural Indonesia over an 18-month period. Utilizing semi-structured interviews with 45 students and 18 educators, combined with classroom observations and document analysis, this research employs thematic analysis to identify how coordinated hardware provision and pedagogical training influence student learning access and academic outcomes. Key findings reveal that device provision alone demonstrates limited efficacy; however, when coupled with structured digital literacy training and teacher professional development, significant improvements emerge in student engagement (73% increase), digital skill competencies (average gain of 2.4 proficiency levels), and learning outcomes (28% improvement in academic performance). The study identifies critical success factors including sustained teacher training, contextual curriculum adaptation, and family literacy support. Findings suggest that addressing the digital divide requires multifaceted approaches beyond infrastructure investment, emphasizing the need for integrated educational interventions that consider local socioeconomic contexts and teacher capacity. This research contributes to evidence-based policy recommendations for equitable technology integration in marginalized educational settings.
