Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning using the Discussion Method. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were high school students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure the improvement of student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that learning using the Discussion Learning Method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of completeness of improving student learning outcomes in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.56%, the first cycle 69.47% and in the second cycle increased to 90.57%. Thus, the use of the Discussion Learning Method can be used as an alternative to increase student activity in Islamic education learning in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Education has a crucial role in building legal awareness in society through introducing legal concepts from an early age. By integrating legal material in the curriculum, students can understand their rights and obligations as well as the values ​​that underlie the law. Effective legal education can reduce legal violations and encourage law-abiding attitudes and social ethics. Apart from that, education also functions as a means of preventing legal violations by providing an understanding of the legal consequences. Through interactive learning methods, students can develop critical thinking skills and be responsible for the law. Collaboration between schools, parents and the community is very important to create an environment that supports legal awareness. With a comprehensive approach, it is hoped that future generations will better appreciate and apply the law in their daily lives, thereby contributing to the creation of a more just and civilized society.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif menjadi pendekatan pedagogis yang semakin populer di pendidikan tinggi karena dianggap dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau penerapan pembelajaran kolaboratif di perguruan tinggi dan mengidentifikasi tantangan serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitasnya.Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tinjauan pustaka dengan menganalisis berbagai penelitian terkait implementasi pembelajaran kolaboratif di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan komunikasi, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Namun, terdapat tantangan seperti ketidakseimbangan partisipasi antar anggota kelompok dan kurangnya keterampilan fasilitasi dari dosen. Strategi yang direkomendasikan untuk mengatasi tantangan ini mencakup pengelolaan kelompok secara lebih efektif dan pelatihan fasilitasi untuk dosen, yang dapat membantu optimalisasi proses kolaboratif di kelas.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education. In the context of elementary school learning, AI is beginning to be utilized as a tool to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. The main issues addressed in this research are how AI can provide benefits in improving learning effectiveness, the challenges that arise in its implementation in elementary school environments, and efforts to maintain personal interactions between teachers and students amidst the use of technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of AI use on students' learning experiences and the role of teachers in creating a balanced learning environment between technology and the human touch. The research method used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study plan, and data collection techniques through literature review and limited field observations. The results indicate that AI can support a more interactive, personalized, and efficient learning process. However, the main challenges faced are limited infrastructure, teacher digital competency, and the potential reduction in direct social interaction. Therefore, collaboration between teachers, students, and technology is crucial to creating an optimal learning process.

Abstract

Perkembangan globalisasi telah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pola pikir, perilaku, serta tatanan moral generasi muda. Kemajuan teknologi dan keterbukaan arus informasi memang menawarkan kemudahan dalam memperoleh pengetahuan, namun di sisi lain juga menimbulkan problem moral seperti menurunnya nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan empati di kalangan peserta didik. Dalam situasi tersebut, Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki posisi strategis sebagai dasar pembentukan karakter dan moralitas peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi penerapan desain pembelajaran PAI berorientasi humanistik sebagai alternatif solusi terhadap krisis moral yang dihadapi generasi muda pada era globalisasi. Pendekatan humanistik menitikberatkan pada pengembangan potensi peserta didik secara menyeluruh meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik serta menempatkan mereka sebagai subjek aktif, mandiri, dan bermakna dalam proses belajar. Melalui desain pembelajaran yang menumbuhkan kesadaran diri, empati sosial, serta nilai-nilai spiritual, PAI tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana penyampaian ilmu keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen pembinaan kepribadian yang berakhlak mulia. Temuan kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran humanistik, seperti pendekatan reflektif, dialogis, dan kontekstual, mampu memperkuat ketahanan moral peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the impact of project-based learning (PBL) on student creativity in religious education subjects. PBL provides opportunities for students to learn actively by completing projects that are appropriate to the subject matter. In religious education, this approach can increase students' understanding of religious values and the ability to apply them in everyday life. This research uses a literature review to analyze the effects of PBL on student creativity and learning outcomes. Research findings show that PBL can improve students' critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving skills. However, there are several challenges in its implementation that require solutions to increase its effectiveness.

Abstract

Adaptive learning supported by digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and online learning platforms, has great potential to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. By adapting course material to each student's abilities, learning style and pace, this course allows for a more personalized and effective learning experience. However, in Indonesia, the main challenges faced in its implementation are the digital divide between urban and rural areas and the readiness of teachers to use technology. Improving technological infrastructure and training for educators is very necessary to maximize the potential of adaptive learning. This research aims to identify challenges and opportunities in implementing adaptive learning in Indonesia, as well as how technology can be optimized to support the development of more inclusive and effective education.

Abstract

Effective curriculum development must consider students' psychological and sociological aspects so that learning runs optimally. The psychological aspect focuses on understanding stages of cognitive development, learning theories, and motivation, as well as student-centered learning approaches. On the other hand, the sociological aspect highlights the importance of social and cultural values, socialization, and social justice and inclusion. The integration of these two aspects can be realized through strategies such as collaborative learning, differentiated learning, character education, and the use of technology. This approach not only increases academic achievement, but also shapes students' social skills and character, so that they are ready to face social challenges in life. Thus, a holistic curriculum can support the creation of a generation that is knowledgeable, has character and is responsive to the social environment.

Abstract

In the complexity of education policy, it is really difficult to apply how allocate political resources – status, legitimacy, authority, power, interests – precisely. In other cases, it is actually very difficult to formulate the reality of socio-political problems in quantitative measures. Likewise with a number problematic political issues and problems faced will tend to be simplified to adapt to the wishes of the analyst and the quantitative methods used, so that This results in fundamental matters relating to the context of socio-political reality which is behavioral in nature and is considered not to be quantifiable, and tends to be ignored and cannot be described fully. The qualitative perspective of education policy is basically a process of understanding on policy problems so that they can give birth to ideas/thoughts regarding ways to solve them. The education policy problem itself is qualitative in nature so it is a process This understanding is also full of qualitative thinking. Understanding of educational policy problems are born from a deductive way of thinking, a way of thinking that starts from Theoretical insights are translated into more operational and operational conceptual units connected to reality. Theoretical insight itself does not stand alone because it is very depends on the subjectivity of an analyst in perspective on education policy. Differences in insight are not simply due to the nature and type of policy problem, however tends to be caused by different points of view or differences in thought paradigms or different philosophies of thought.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia yang menekankan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran dengan memberikan kebebasan bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi materi sesuai minat dan potensi mereka. Salah satu pendekatan utama dalam Kurikulum Merdeka adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang berfokus pada pengembangan kreativitas, keterampilan abad ke-21, dan karakter siswa. Dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek, siswa diajak untuk berkolaborasi dalam merancang solusi terhadap masalah nyata yang ada di sekitar mereka, sehingga mendorong pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, komunikasi efektif, dan pemecahan masalah. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang membimbing siswa melalui aktivitas kontekstual yang dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar mereka. Meskipun demikian, pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas yang mendukung pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, waktu yang terbatas untuk menyelesaikan proyek, serta pemahaman guru yang belum menyeluruh terkait filosofi kurikulum ini. Tantangan lainnya termasuk kekurangan pelatihan yang memadai bagi guru untuk merancang pembelajaran berbasis minat dan kebutuhan siswa. Kendati demikian, faktor pendukung yang dapat memperlancar implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka meliputi dukungan manajemen sekolah, peran aktif orang tua, dan kolaborasi antar-guru. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek cenderung lebih termotivasi, kreatif, dan memiliki keterampilan sosial yang berkembang pesat. Selain itu, keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka meningkat, dan mereka lebih mampu bekerja sama secara efektif dalam tim. Secara keseluruhan, meskipun ada berbagai kendala, penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menunjukkan potensi yang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, terutama dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak guna memastikan keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum ini di seluruh sekolah.
