Abstract

Burung kenari (Serinus Canaria) merupakan salah satu dari banyaknya spesies jenis burung kicau yang banyak dipelihara penghobi burung karena memiliki warna bulu yang indah dan suara yang merdu. Kenari yang banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia yaitu Kenari Yorkshire, Kenari Lokal, Kenari F1YS, Kenari Af, Kenari Loper, dan Kenari Red Intensi. Ternak kenari dengan sistem poligami merupakan beternak kenari dengan cara menggunakan sedikit pejantan untuk dapat mengawini banyak indukan kenari. Sistem ini memerlukan satu pejantan kenari untuk mengawini 3 sampai 4 kenari betina secara bergiliran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan yaitu dimulai dari bulan Februari sampai dengan Mei 2021 di Desa Cakru Kecamatan Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Metode analisis kelayakan usaha yang digunakan yaitu analisis BEP (Break Event Point), R/C Ratio, dan ROI (Return On Invesment). Hasil Penelitian yang telah dilakukan memperoleh analisis BEP (unit) sebanyak 6 ekor dari total produksi 19 ekor, BEP (harga) sebesar Rp. 64.692/ekor dengan harga jual Rp. 150.000/ekor, R/C Ratio 2,93, dan ROI 107 %. Pemasaran burung kenari dilakukan secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kelayakan usaha memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa usaha tersebut menguntungkan dan dapat layak untuk dilanjutkan

Abstract

Ternak domba termasuk salah satu jenis ternak mendapat perhatian untuk dikembangkan. Pada saat ini kegiatan ekonomi yang berbasis ternak domba terpusat pada peternakan rakyat di daerah pedesaan dengan motif usaha subsistens. Beberapa ciri dari usaha seperti ini adalah skala usaha kecil, modal kecil, bibit lokal, pengetahuan teknis beternak rendah, usaha bersifat sampingan, pemanfaatan waktu luang, tenaga kerja keluarga, sebagai tabungan dan pelengkap kegiatan usahatani. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama 6 bulan yang dimulai bulan 1 Januari sampai dengan tanggal 30 Juli 2022 dengan diawali melakukan Sosialisai dengan kelompok peternak domba yang ada di Kelurahan Tegal Gede Sumbersari Kabupaten Jember. Pada kegiatan ini susun acara kegiatan pengabdian, dengan tiga kegiatan utama yang meliputi: Manajemen Pemeliharaan ternak domba, pengenalan hijauan makanan ternak dan penyusunan formulasi pakan serta teknologi pakan ternak. Kelompok ternak mempersiapkan tempat yang akan digunakan untuk kegiatan pemberian materi dan praktek selama kegiatan nantinya. Pembuatan pakan fermentasi merupakan salah satu teknologi pakan dengan tujuan memperlama daya simpan pakan ternak. Pakan fermentasi dari hijauan pakan ternak berupa silase, dimana selain dapat menyimpan pakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama juga dapat tujuan meningkatkan nilai nutrisi dalam pakan

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the role of microfinance innovations in strengthening rural economies and improving community welfare. Despite the critical importance of microfinance in promoting financial inclusion, traditional models often struggle to meet the unique needs of rural populations. Through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions conducted in three rural villages, this research explores how innovative financial products-such as digital lending platforms, flexible savings schemes, and group-based lending models-enhance access to financial services for underserved rural residents. The findings indicate that these innovations facilitate entrepreneurial activities, diversify income sources, and improve household welfare by enabling better access to education, healthcare, and nutrition. Additionally, the study highlights the social benefits of microfinance innovations, including strengthened community cohesion and mutual support networks. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy and infrastructural constraints remain significant barriers to fully realizing the potential of these innovations. The study underscores the necessity of context-specific financial solutions and complementary capacity-building initiatives to optimize the impact of microfinance in rural areas. Policy implications emphasize the need for integrated approaches involving microfinance institutions, local governments, and communities to scale sustainable and inclusive financial innovations. This research contributes to the broader discourse on rural development by demonstrating that innovative microfinance models can serve as effective tools for poverty alleviation and socio-economic empowerment in rural contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan menguji penentuan koefisien harga satuan upah, bahan dan alat berdasarkan pengadopsian metode BOW (Burgerlijke Openbare Werken). Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengembangkan pengadopsian metode dalam perhitungan koefisien harga satuan dalam proses produksi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan kontribusi penting koefisien dasar sebagai acuan atau standart perhitungan dalam manajemen produksi, serta kesesuaian produksi yang berada di lapangan. Perolehan harga pokok produksi dan harga jual yang didapat itu lebih terperinci dan akurat atas standart produksi yang telah diperoleh dalam penentuan koefisien harga satuan.

Abstract

Lokasi penelitian bertempat di UD. Tahu Uap Barokah Kecamatan Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis faktor yang menjadi kekuatan (strengths), kelemahan (weaknesses), peluang (opportunities), dan ancaman (threats) pada pemasaran tahu UD. Tahu Uap Barokah di Kecamatan Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember, (2) Merumuskan alternatif strategi pemasaran tahu yang tepat pada UD. Tahu Uap Barokah di Kecamatan Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember, (3) Menentukan prioritas strategi pemasaran tahu yang sesuai pada UD. Tahu Uap Barokah di Kecamatan Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT dan analisis QSPM. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa posisi perusahaan berada pada sel V dimana strategi yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi menjaga dan mempertahankan melalui strategi penetrasi pasar, pengembangan pasar ataupun produk. Berdasarkan hasil analisis QSPM, dari sembilan alternatif strategi yang telah dibuat terdapat satu alternatif strategi yang paling diminati dan memiliki nilai prioritas tertinggi yaitu meningkatkan kualitas produk dan mempertahankan harga agar mampu bersaing dengan skor TAS sebesar 4,42.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Jember State Polytechnic on 05 November - 12 November 2022. The aim of this research was to observe the time to faint and the time to recover consciousness by administering different temperatures to obtain the optimal temperature or ideal temperature for prospective male tilapia broodstock. Stunning fish using direct drop is a natural anesthetic technique used in fish transportation. In this study, the temperatures used were 3°C, 5°C, 7°C and 9°C per 10 liters of water. The tilapia fish used were 32 prospective male tilapia parents weighing 250 grams which had been aged for a day before being used as test animals. The results of the study showed that the best treatment was shown by P4 (9°C) with a fainting time of 226.25 seconds and a recovery time of 382.00 (seconds).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business feasibility in the sustainable agriculture sector through a case study of organic farming enterprises in Indonesia. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method to explore in depth the market, technical, financial, environmental, and social aspects of sustainable agricultural practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed using business feasibility analysis. The results of the study show an increasing demand for environmentally friendly organic products, both in local and international markets, although challenges remain in production capacity and access to financing. Technically, the use of eco-friendly technologies and sustainable farming practices can reduce negative environmental impacts. From a social perspective, this business contributes to improving farmers' welfare and empowering local communities. Nevertheless, business development requires support from various stakeholders to overcome existing obstacles and scale up the enterprise.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in financial risk management in FinTech companies. With the increasing reliance on technology, AI has great potential in managing various types of risks, such as credit, market and liquidity risks. This study uses a quai-experimental approach by comparing two groups of companies, namely companies that use that do not use AI. The data collected included the level of non-performing (NPLs), market value fluctuations, and liquidity stability, which were analyzed using t-test and ANOVA to identify significant differences between the two groups. The results showed that companies that implemented AI experienced a significant decrease in bad debt rates, more manageable market values fluctuations, and improved liquidity stability. However, the main challenges faced in implementing AI include limited quality data technological comnpetency, and regulatory compliance. Overall, this study reveals that the application of AI can improve the effetiveness of financial risk management in FinTech firms, but requires investment in employee training, technological infrastructure development, and attentionto regulatory aspects to maximize the benefits.

Abstract

UD Berkah Jaya is one of the small company located in Jember Regency, precisely in the village of Baratan, Patrang District. The pandemic conditions in early 2020 made UD Barokah's efforts in producing incense to stop because it could not send its products to the island of Bali. The business owner has a plan to replace the incense production into kampung chicken feed, but the owner does not have the ability to make animal feed, so he needs training and assistance from experts from the Jember State Polytechnic to make animal feed. This service program will be carried out by providing assistance in the manufacture and production of kampung chicken feed. It is hoped that this activity will increase the knowledge and skills of UD Berkah Jaya to be able to produce kampung chicken feed independently. The implementation of this community service activity includes the following activities: Survey of service locations, discussions with owners, preparing materials for training in making kampung chicken feed, training on feed packaging and marketing, coordinating and evaluating the results of service implementation, making service reports, journal articles and print media. /electronic results of dedication. This activity will be carried out for 6 (six) months from June 2023 to November 2023.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization and digitalization, economic development does not only focus on the industrial and agricultural sectors, but also leads to the development of the creative economy sector. The creative economy, which is based on ideas, creativity and innovation, has become a new driving force in encouraging inclusive and sustainable economic growth. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the creative economy in increasing the social empowerment of local communities. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The analysis process includes coding data, identifying themes, and interpreting findings in the context of community empowerment through local skills. Triangulation of data sources and member check techniques are used to increase the credibility of research results. The results of this research found that the creative economy has a broad scope and a significant contribution to various aspects of the economy in Indonesia, especially in terms of increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP), creating jobs, increasing tourism, and empowering local communities. In this section, we will discuss in more depth the role of creative economics in increasing the empowerment of local communities, its impact on job creation, its relationship with the tourism sector, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by this sector in Indonesia.
