Abstract

Mental health issues among individuals, particularly in counseling contexts, require practical tools to understand and address emotional states. This study explores the application of machine learning models for emotion detection in mental health counseling conversations, focusing on four algorithms: Bernoulli Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest. The dataset, derived from transcribed counseling sessions, underwent preprocessing, including stemming, stopword removal, and TF-IDF vectorization to create structured inputs for classification. Emotional categories such as "Depresi" (Depression), "Kecewa" (Dissapointed), "Senang" (Happy), "Bingung" (Confused) and "Stres" (Stress) were analyzed to evaluate model performance. Results indicated that Logistic Regression achieved the highest accuracy at 82%, showcasing its reliability and scalability, followed closely by Random Forest with 81%, demonstrating robustness in handling complex data structures. Bernoulli Naive Bayes performed competitively at 80%, excelling in computational efficiency, while Decision Tree recorded the lowest accuracy at 70%, reflecting its limitations in managing overlapping features and high-dimensional data. These findings highlight the potential of machine learning in addressing the increasing demand for scalable mental health support tools. The study underscores the importance of model selection, balanced datasets, and feature engineering to improve classification accuracy. Future work includes developing AI-driven chatbots for real-time emotion detection and integrating multimodal data to enhance interpretability. This research contributes to advancing automated solutions for mental health care, offering new pathways for timely and personalized interventions.

Abstract

Waiting time is one of the indicators in evaluating the quality of outpatient services in hospitals. Long waiting times are often the main complaint of patients and have the potential to reduce satisfaction and effectiveness of services. This article aims to review the available literature on patient waiting times and identify factors that contribute to waiting times for outpatient services. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) flow by collecting articles from the Google Scholar and PubMed databases published between 2019 and 2024 with the keywords " outpatient", "waiting time" and "hospital", as well as in Indonesian: "waktu tunggu, perawatan jalan" and "poliklinik". Based on the analysis results, 20 articles were selected from the 130 articles selected that met the inclusion criteria and were subsequently analysed and classified using the Donabedian theoretical framework, which consists of three components: structure, process, and outcome. The analysis results indicate that structural factors, such as limited medical personnel, inadequate infrastructure, and inefficient queuing systems, are the primary causes. In the process aspect, doctor delays, lengthy administrative processes, and a lack of service system integration also contribute to lengthening waiting times. Meanwhile, outcome factors are closely related to patient perceptions and satisfaction levels. The study's conclusions suggest that improving outpatient wait times necessitates a comprehensive approach that encompasses enhancing service structure, process efficiency, and prioritising patient outcomes.

Abstract

BPJS Health's Reverse Referral Program (PRB) is an initiative designed to ensure continuity of care for patients with chronic diseases by coordinating between primary healthcare facilities (FKTP) and partner pharmacies. This article aims to review the available literature on the effectiveness of PRB drugs, the flow of referral services, drug availability, and the role of partner pharmacies in supporting program implementation. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) flow by collecting articles from the Science Direct, Pubmed and Google Scholar databases published between 2019 and 2024 with the keywords "BPJS Referral Program", "Referral Drug Effectiveness", "PRB Drug Availability", and "BPJS Partner Pharmacies". From the initial search results, 39 articles were found (3 articles from ScienceDirect, 11 articles from PubMed, and 25 articles from Google Scholar). Based on the analysis conducted, 6 articles were double-published, 5 articles were incomplete, and 8 articles were not relevant to the topic. Then, after selection, 20 articles were identified as meeting the inclusion criteria. The results of the analysis showed that PRB helps improve patient compliance in chronic disease management and reduces the burden on referral hospitals. However, challenges faced include limited drug distribution, logistical constraints, and suboptimal coordination. This review concludes that technology-based solutions and increased regulatory capacity are needed to ensure the overall effectiveness of this program.

Abstract

Introduction: Wait times for outpatient pharmacy services are an indicator of service quality that influences patient satisfaction and compliance. However, in many hospitals, wait times for both over-the-counter and prescription medications still exceed Ministry of Health standards, with maximum wait times of ≤ 30 minutes for non-prescription medications and ≤ 60 minutes for prescription medications. Objective: To identify factors that influence waiting time for outpatient pharmacy services. Methods: This study used a Systematic Reviews design to identify factors that influence waiting time for outpatient pharmacy services by following the PRISMA guidelines. Results and Discussion: Structural factors contributing to long wait times include suboptimal pharmacy staff ratios, limited technological infrastructure, and limited waiting room capacity. From a process perspective, delays result from manual prescription verification, inefficient workflows, and time-consuming administrative processes. Outcome-wise, long wait times lead to decreased patient satisfaction and potentially decreased medication adherence. Interventions such as the implementation of electronic queuing systems, integration of pharmacy information systems, task redistribution, and service automation have been shown to reduce wait times by 20–50%.  Conclusion: Reducing waiting times requires a comprehensive strategy through structural improvements, process optimization, and continuous monitoring of outputs.
