Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan anak usia dini menjadi perhatian penting dalam dunia pendidikan, karena disiplin merupakan fondasi utama pembentukan karakter sejak awal kehidupan. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dilaksanakan kegiatan pendampingan peraturan baris-berbaris (PBB) di Kober Peupado Malanuza sebagai upaya menanamkan nilai kedisiplinan sekaligus menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air. Program ini dirancang dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan namun tetap menekankan pada keteraturan, ketaatan terhadap instruksi, dan kerja sama. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 15 anak usia dini dan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan metode pendampingan yang bervariasi, yaitu simulasi, praktik langsung, latihan mandiri, observasi, serta dokumentasi perkembangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kedisiplinan, meliputi ketepatan waktu hadir, konsentrasi selama latihan, kemampuan bekerja sama dengan teman, serta kerapihan barisan. Sebelum pendampingan, 53,3% anak tergolong kurang disiplin, namun setelah program berjalan, 86% anak mampu mengikuti gerakan secara tepat sesuai aba-aba pelatih. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa PBB tidak hanya melatih fisik anak, tetapi juga menjadi sarana efektif untuk pembentukan karakter disiplin, sehingga dapat dijadikan model pembiasaan positif dalam lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahasa ibu sebagai media pembelajaran memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa, terutama di wilayah dengan bahasa daerah yang kuat seperti di Gugus Golewa. Program ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran berbasis bahasa ibu (Bhajawa), sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan guru, memanfaatkan model studi pelajaran (LSLC) untuk merancang dan menerapkan strategi literasi yang efektif secara kolaboratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam merancang kegiatan literasi berbasis bahasa Bhajawa, serta dampak positif pada minat dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini diharapkan mampu memperkaya proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan keberhasilan literasi siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of numeracy in mathematics learning by using the snakes and ladders board for 3rd grade students in SDK Bejo. This type of research is a Class Action Research (PTK) involving 19 students consisting of 9 male students and 9 ability students. The method used in this research is the method of data collection using tests. This study was conducted with pre cycle, cycle 1 and Cycle 2. The results showed that the use of media Board snakes and ladders can significantly improve the ability of numeracy summation 1-100 in students tingakt phase B. The use of snakes and ladders board media in mathematics learning with the topic of solving simple 1-100 is stated to increase after using snakes and ladders board media from pre-cycle to Cycle 1 by 13.16% and obtaining an average pre-cycle score of 53.68% to Cycle 1 an average of 66.84% or in the good category. From cycle I to Cycle II experienced an average increase of 86.84%. Whereas, classically there is an increase from cycle I to Cycle II which is equal to 100% of the determination of 70%. This indicates that the use of snakes and ladders board Media is very effective in improving numeracy skills in children aged 8-9 years.

Abstract

This study aims to improve early reading skills in children aged 5-6 years using learning media, namely letter poster media. The purpose of learning to read early childhood is to make children interested in reading activities so that these activities become fun activities. If the child already has a love of reading, it will be easier to be guided so that reading is not a burden but a necessity. One aspect of teaching that plays an important role is reading, especially beginning reading. Beginning reading is in the early stages of the reading process or visual process. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method where the researcher will specifically describe the data in the form of facts that actually come from the implementation of learning that is applied in hamlet 1, Sambinasi village, consisting of 6 girls and 2 boys with a total of 8 children, learning systematics starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation of the learning carried out. The results of the use of letter poster learning media for children in Hamlet 1, Sambinasi Village, have increased the aspects of beginning reading.

Abstract

The Merdeka Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program launched by the government of the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology (Kemendikbutristek). The teaching campus is part of the independent campus program which provides a forum for students to learn and develop themselves at the assignment school. This research focuses on the implementation of the Teaching Campus Program on student literacy culture at SDK Nuabosi. This study aims to understand how the Teaching Campus Program has been implemented at SDK Nuabosi and its impact on the development of a literacy culture. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques in this research are observation and documentation. This technique is used on data that is not measurable in the form of numbers or statistics. Qualitative data can be in the form of text, interviews, observations, and others. In qualitative data analysis techniques, researchers or analysts analyze the issues that arise in the data, understand the thoughts of participants, and interpret the meaning of the data. Some commonly used qualitative data analysis techniques are content analysis, discourse analysis, and grounded theory. Based on the results of the research conducted, through fun activities as an effort to implement a culture of literacy, students at SDK Nuabosi become more enthusiastic and have the motivation to further increase students' interest in reading.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of video media, specifically the effectiveness of animation media in improving science learning outcomes. The research method used in this article is qualitative descriptive research, where data is collected through literature reviews. The literature used in this research includes scientific articles related to the effectiveness of animated video learning media in enhancing the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. Data collection was conducted by searching for articles from national and international journals related to the research topic published between 2020 to 2024. This study identified 10 articles that align with the research focus, demonstrating the effectiveness of animated video learning media in improving science learning outcomes for elementary school students. Animated videos in science learning have been developed according to student needs, and currently, the effectiveness of animated videos yields positive results in supporting learning. Animated videos can increase student engagement and provide a more enjoyable learning experience. Therefore, the integration of animated videos into the learning process is an important step to support innovative and effective educational development.

Abstract

Mother tongue is the first language understood by children.  Children who communicate daily with their mother tongue, when entering school will have difficulty understanding the learning material provided using Indonesian. Most children at an early age enter school will find it very difficult to understand Indonesian. When children are unable to understand the subject matter, the child will have difficulty in reading and writing. Therefore it is very important for teachers to do initial analysis of students' language skills to assist students in literacy. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance to UPTD SDN Sobo teachers to design learning based on mother tongue as a transition language in improving the literacy skills of UPTD SDN Sobo students. The targets of the service activities were the principal, 12 class teachers and grade 1 and 2 students of UPTD SDN Sobo. The approach used in this program is lectures, Practice to practice. Training and mentoring will be carried out offline and online from July to October 2023. The results of this activity were the training participants, namely being able to understand the use of ibi language as a traditional language in improving literacy skills which included teaching modules, learning media and assessment instruments.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the low reading literacy culture and some grade II students who still have difficulty reading. One of the school literacy movement programs that can be done to increase students' interest in reading is the Reading Corner program. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the reading corner on students' interest in reading. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with research methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were grade II students of SDK Piga, the object of this study was the reading corner in grade II. The results of the study showed that the reading corner plays a very important role in growing and increasing students' interest in reading at school. Based on the study, it can be concluded that with a reading corner, students can use the reading corner as the closest reading facility, as the closest reading material, and also as a comfortable and attractive place to increase interest in reading. The reading corner is managed by teachers and students who aim to introduce students to fun learning resources.

Abstract

This research was carried out on the problem of low reading ability of students and the lack of use of learning media that makes students easily bored. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of literacy tree media in improving the reading ability of grade III students at Inpres Dhereisa Elementary School. The type of research used is qualitative research using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification stage. The results of the study showed that through the application of the Literacy tree, 83.33% of students were fluent in reading and 16.66% of students had difficulty reading. The literacy tree plays a positive role in stimulating students' interest in reading and can increase students' reading ability. However, there were also several obstacles such as limited book collections and lack of active participation from all school residents. The use of literacy trees is successful but not optimal, so it is recommended for the development of the use of literacy trees to be more effective in supporting the improvement of students' reading skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the literacy assistance strategy for group guidance and counseling to increase students' interest in reading at SDI Waewaru, the research location was conducted at SDI Waewaru, Ngada district, Aimere subdistrict, the population consists of 1 class which is class III. There is still a low interest in reading among students at SDI Waewaru class III, especially for 6 students who have a very low interest in reading. Reading is one of the important things in all kinds of learning processes. It is through reading various knowledge that can lead to success that we can obtain. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research method taken from the results of classroom learning observations, interviews, and documentation of student activities in the classroom learning process and literacy habits at school. The research results show that interest in reading is still relatively low due to several factors such as lack of reading habits, lack of parental support to motivate students to increase children's interest in reading, and lack of teacher creativity in developing students' reading skills.
