Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether peer social support is related to self-efficacy among BK UMN Al-Washliyah students who are preparing to become teachers. A total of 32 active students were selected as samples for this study. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson's correlation, while data was collected using a Likert scale. The results of the study found that peer social support was significantly associated with students' self-efficacy (r=0.463 and p<0.05). These findings confirm that a supportive social environment, particularly in the form of peer support, plays a role in shaping students' self-confidence, motivation, and professional readiness, and contributes to the design of guidance and counselling programmes that pay greater attention to students' social aspects.

Abstract

The family is the first and main socialization institution that plays an important role in shaping the character and social behavior of children. However, if the family condition is not harmonious or there is a split (broken home), this can have a negative impact on the psychological development of children. One of the impacts that often appears is aggressive and antisocial behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between the condition of the Broken Home family and aggressive behavior in students at SMK Nur Azizi Tanjung Morawa. This study uses a quantitative approach with a structured correlational design that has been tested for validity and reliability. The study population was 88 students, and the sampling technique used purposive sampling based on certain criteria, so that 30 appropriate respondents were obtained. Data collection was carried out through the Broken Home Family Scale and the Aggressive Behavior Scale. The results of data analysis using the Pearson product moment correlation test showed that there was a significant relationship between the condition of the Broken Home family and aggressive behavior of students, with a significance value (p) of 0.000 (p <0.05) and a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.382. This finding shows that the more disharmonious the family condition, the higher the tendency for aggressive behavior in students. Therefore, special attention is needed from schools and families in providing emotional support to students from broken homes, so that they can manage their emotions more healthily and develop positive social behavior.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior among generation Z, especially vocational high school students, is becoming an increasingly worrying phenomenon along with technological advances and unlimited access to information. This study aims to determine the effect of information services using flipbook media in reducing consumptive behavior of generation Z at SMK Nur Azizi. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all 120 grade XI students of SMK Nur Azizi, with a sample of 35 students selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected through a validated consumptive behavior questionnaire, both before and after the provision of information services using flipbook media. Data analysis used the t-test (paired sample t-test) with the help of SPSS. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value (sig.) 0.000 <0.05. This shows that information services with flipbook media are effective in reducing the level of student consumptive behavior. The conclusion of this study is that the use of flipbook media as a means of information services can be an innovative and educational alternative in guidance and counseling to help students control consumptive behavior. This study provides recommendations for BK teachers to be more creative in using attractive visual media to convey information related to personal financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and anxiety in public speaking in front of the class in MTs Nurus Salam Deli Tua students in the 2025 Academic Year. This study is based on the importance of public speaking skills in the context of learning and the role of emotional regulation as one of the psychological factors that influence students' anxiety levels. With this study, students are expected to be able to overcome speaking anxiety with emotional regulation. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method and a product moment correlation research design with the help of the SPSS version 23.00 for Windows program. The population in this study were all 8th grade students of MTs Nurus Salam Deli Tua, totaling 180 students, and a sample of 45 students or around 25% of the population was taken using a random sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of an emotional regulation scale and a speaking anxiety scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis showed a significant negative relationship between emotional regulation and speaking anxiety in front of the class This is proven by the significance value (p) of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.005, and the correlation coefficient value (r) of -0.491. This means that the higher the students' ability to regulate their emotions, the lower the level of anxiety they experience when speaking in front of the class. Conversely, low emotional regulation ability will be directly proportional to increased speaking anxiety. Thus, it can be concluded that emotional regulation can reduce the level of anxiety in students if the students are able to regulate and manage their emotions. This finding shows the importance of fostering emotional regulation in the context of education, especially to increase students' self-confidence and communication skills in the classroom.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of group guidance services for career planning experienced by students, including not being able to determine plans after graduating from high school, not knowing about their interests, talents and abilities, so a study is needed entitled the influence of group guidance services on career planning for class XI IPA 1 students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study aims to determine the effect of providing modeling technique group guidance services on career planning for class XI IPA students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah Perbaungan. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental type with a pre-experimental method of One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The subjects in this study were 10 students with low levels of career planning. This study focuses on the influence of modeling technique group guidance to improve students' career planning with the data collection technique used, namely a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Based on the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, the output value is Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.005, sig. value 0.005 < 0.05 at a significance level of 5% or α = 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students' career planning before and after being given modeling technique group guidance services. These results indicate that modeling technique group guidance services can effectively improve the career planning of class XI IPA students of SMAS 12 Al-Washliyah Perbaungan.

Abstract

The research aims to explore the correlation between peer social support and academic resilience among 137 Grade XI students at Istiqlal Private High School, Deli Tua, during the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quantitative correlation research design. A sample of 34 students was randomly selected, and data was collected through a validated questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.894. Analysis was conducted using normality tests, linearity tests, and product-moment correlation tests with SPSS software, showing a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship. The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.765, suggesting a strong relationship between peer social support and academic resilience. The study concludes that higher peer social support leads to increased academic resilience among students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills by using augmented reality (AR) based media with Assemblr Edu application. This research applied the method of classroom action research (PTK) carried out in two cycles, involving 28 grade V students. Techniques applied for data collection were obtained by observation, interviews, and learning outcomes tests. The findings of this study are that the use of AR media provides significant progress in students' critical thinking skills. The percentage of critical thinking skills scores in cycle I was 60%. the percentage increased to 86% in cycle II. The results of the test questions given in cycle I 71% increased in cycle II to 93%. This explains the effectiveness of using AR media in IPAS learning. In conclusion, the use of augmented reality-based media with Assemblr Edu to grade V students at UPT SDN 060937 Medan Johor improves students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self regulation dengan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta Istiqal Delitua Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kemampuan mengelola diri dalam membentuk kecerdasan emosional siswa, yang berperan besar dalam menghadapi tantangan akademik maupun sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Siswa dengan regulasi diri yang baik cenderung mampu mengontrol emosi, menetapkan tujuan, serta mengatasi tekanan dengan lebih efektif, sehingga berpotensi memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 42 siswa dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket self regulation dan kecerdasan emosional yang disusun berdasarkan skala Likert. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan terdapat hubungan linear antara kedua variabel. Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan signifikansi (p) < 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 38,2% menunjukkan bahwa self regulation memberikan kontribusi terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 61,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat regulasi diri yang dimiliki siswa, semakin tinggi pula kecerdasan emosional yang ditunjukkan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan kemampuan self regulation penting untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam program pendidikan guna mendukung pertumbuhan emosional dan sosial siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah layanan informasi Teknik Problem Solving berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan Keputusan karir santri kelas VI Pondok Pesantren Ta’dib Asyakirin. Dalam penalitian ini akan membahas masalah santri pondok pesantren Ta’dib asyakirin yang hidup berasrama, terisolasi dari kehidupan bermasyarakat, serta jauh dari internet. Menyebabkan kurang informasi tentang pemilihan karir yang berdampak pada ketidak matangan persiapan pemilihan karirnya. Metode Peneliian ini berupa eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pre test dan post test desain. Teknik pengumpulan data nya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan kusioner atau angket. Untuk Teknik analisis data penguji menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reabilitas, uji homogenitas digunakan untuk melihat kesetaraan responden, kemudian menggunakan uji t untuk menentukan hipotesis. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, peneliti mendapatkan hasil yang posistif Dimana layanan informasi Teknik problem solving berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan Keputusan karir santri kelas VI Pondok Pesanten Ta’dib Asyakirin. Ditandai dengan meningkatnya hasil post test setelah dilakukannya Layanan Informasi dengan Teknik problem solving.

Abstract

Rural communities often face limited access to digital skills and entrepreneurial resources, particularly among women and youth. This community engagement program was designed to strengthen their capacity to manage micro and small enterprises through applied digital marketing training. The activities combined socialization sessions, practical workshops, and mentoring programs conducted in Empat Negeri Village, Batu Bara Regency, involving 30 local participants. The training covered topics such as creating digital business profiles, developing promotional content, and managing sales through online platforms. Evaluation was carried out using observation, pre- and post-assessment, and qualitative interviews to measure knowledge, skill, and confidence growth. The results showed an average increase of 40–55% in participants’ understanding of online marketing strategies, digital content creation, and customer engagement techniques. In addition, several participants successfully expanded their market reach through social media. Beyond technical gains, the activities fostered collaboration among women and youth, encouraging innovation and economic independence within the community.
