Abstract

This study examines how organizational resilience can be strengthened through the transformation of digital risk management. The rapid expansion of digital technologies has introduced new forms of operational, cybersecurity, and data-related risks that require adaptive and integrated responses. The purpose of this research is to analyze the key issues that hinder digital resilience, explore strategic approaches organizations can adopt to manage emerging risks, and identify how digital transformation initiatives contribute to long-term organizational sustainability. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study synthesizes findings from recent empirical research, policy documents, and organizational case studies to develop a comprehensive understanding of digital risk practices. The analysis reveals that organizations with proactive digital governance, strong cybersecurity frameworks, and continuous risk-monitoring mechanisms achieve higher resilience in navigating technological disruptions. Results also show that leadership commitment, digital literacy, and cross-functional collaboration significantly influence the successful implementation of digital risk management. This study concludes that transforming risk management into a digitally driven, data-supported system enables organizations to anticipate uncertainties, respond quickly to digital threats, and maintain operational continuity. These findings provide practical insights for institutions seeking to strengthen their resilience in an increasingly digital business environment.

Abstract

Operational risk management from the perspective of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Good Public Governance (GPG) is a systematic approach that integrates governance principles to identify, assess, and control risks that can disrupt the continuity and effectiveness of organizations, both in the private and public sectors. GCG provides transparent and accountable structures, mechanisms, and controls to minimize the risk of process failure, human error, and system disruptions, thereby ensuring the sustainability of company operations. On the other hand, GPG emphasizes the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, and compliance in managing risks to ensure optimal public services run without serious obstacles. The application of these principles creates a strong risk culture and an effective internal control system, which not only protects assets and reputation but also strengthens public and stakeholder trust in the long term.

Abstract

Recurrent flooding poses a tangible threat to the continuity of academic activities in higher education institutions located in disaster-prone areas. This study aims to identify the risks of recurrent flooding at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Padang, and to formulate effective mitigation strategies to ensure the continuity of learning activities. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with lecturers, administrative staff, and students, as well as field observations and documentation studies of historical flood events and institutional policies. Data analysis was conducted thematically to identify risk patterns and mitigation strategies. The findings indicate that flood risks at FMIPA UNP originate from geographical factors, inadequate drainage infrastructure, and changes in land use surrounding the campus. The impacts of flooding include disruptions to academic activities, damage to laboratory facilities, and restricted access for students and lecturers. Risk analysis using the Estimated Maximum Loss (EML) approach reveals that laboratory damage and disruptions to lecture schedules represent the highest risk levels. Recommended mitigation efforts include improving drainage systems, constructing protective embankments, establishing evacuation routes, and developing adaptive online-based learning systems as contingency measures. Recovery strategies focus on strengthening institutional capacity through disaster preparedness training, the establishment of emergency response teams, and enhanced collaboration with local governments and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). This study underscores the importance of integrated disaster risk management in higher education governance to ensure educational resilience and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of risk control systems in State Universities (PTN) based on the risk control principles applicable in public sector governance. The evaluation was conducted to determine the extent to which PTNs implement risk identification, analysis, mitigation, and monitoring processes in their operational activities. This study used qualitative methods through document studies, observations, and interviews. The results indicate that the implementation of risk control in PTNs has been running moderately but is not yet fully documented and integrated. Several aspects that require improvement include risk documentation, monitoring of mitigation implementation, and integration of risk information systems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya keterlibatan guru dalam berbagai aktivitas sekolah di luar tugas mengajar, yang menunjukkan bahwa organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) belum berkembang secara maksimal. Kondisi ini diduga berkaitan dengan bagaimana kepala sekolah memimpin serta bagaimana suasana kerja yang dirasakan guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh servant leadership kepala sekolah dan iklim organisasi terhadap OCB guru di SD Negeri Kabupaten Solok. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta didukung oleh observasi dan wawancara terbatas untuk memperkuat pemahaman konteks lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif dan regresi untuk menguji pengaruh antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap OCB guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Namun demikian, OCB yang muncul masih cenderung bersifat individual dan belum sepenuhnya menjadi budaya organisasi. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang ada masih lebih dominan pada aspek relasional, sementara iklim organisasi yang terbentuk sudah relatif nyaman tetapi belum cukup mendorong partisipasi aktif guru. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan OCB guru tidak cukup hanya melalui tuntutan kinerja, tetapi perlu didukung oleh kepemimpinan yang memberdayakan serta iklim organisasi yang tidak hanya kondusif, tetapi juga mampu menstimulasi keterlibatan aktif guru dalam organisasi sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines whether mutual assistance behavior influences teacher work responsibility directly and indirectly through collaborative communication as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 482 public high school teachers in West Sumatra Province, Indonesia, selected via proportional stratified random sampling. Instruments were validated through expert review (content validity) and pilot testing (AVE > 0.50; Composite Reliability > 0.70). Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Results indicate that mutual assistance significantly and positively affects collaborative communication (β = 0.719, T = 22.884, p < 0.001) and work responsibility (β = 0.434, T = 12.124, p < 0.001), and that collaborative communication significantly predicts work responsibility (β = 0.603, T = 18.536, p < 0.001), confirming a mediation pathway. These findings indicate that teacher responsibility is shaped not only by individual attributes but also by the quality of collaborative social interactions. School management strategies that systematically cultivate mutual assistance and strengthen communication-based collaboration are recommended to build sustainable professional responsibility.

Abstract

Objective: One problem of teachers’ work discipline is tardiness and irregular performance reporting, indicating the need for a technology-based monitoring system. This study aims to analyze teachers’ discipline, examine the implementation of SIKAP, and its effect. A quantitative survey method was used. The results show that SIKAP implementation significantly affects teachers’ work discipline. The novelty lies in using SIKAP as a technology-based monitoring system in elementary schools. Methods: This research used a quantitative approach with a positivist paradigm. The population was 288 civil servant teachers, with 174 respondents selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics, including validity, reliability, normality, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). Results: The results show that teacher work discipline is in the good category, while SIKAP implementation is fairly good to good. Hypothesis testing indicates that SIKAP has a significant effect on teacher discipline (sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with an R² value of 0.718, meaning 71.8% of discipline is influenced by SIKAP implementation. Novelty: This study emphasizes the importance of digital performance management systems in improving teacher discipline by linking technology implementation with behavioral outcomes in education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the researcher's observations that the Organizational Culture in the Department of Education and Culture of Padang Pariaman Regency is still not good. This study aims to find out and obtain information about (1) Values ​​that apply within the organization, (2) Employee trust/belief in the organization, (3) Employee self-awareness in working, (4) Employee behavior in working in the Department of Education and Culture of Padang Pariaman Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a population of 115 people. Sampling in this study is Probability sampling or simple random sampling, taking sample members from the population is done randomly without paying attention to the strata in the population. The research instrument used is a questionnaire with a Likert scale model with five alternative answers: always (SL), often (SR), sometimes (KD), rarely (JR), never (TP). Before the questionnaire was used, it was first tested to determine its validity and reliability. The results of the validity test showed two invalid statements, but this study remains reliable. The data analysis technique uses the Mean formula (average score). The results of the study show that the organizational culture at the Padang Pariaman Regency Education and Culture Office is seen from the following indicators: (1) The values ​​that apply within the organization are good and the average score is (3.68), (2) Employee trust/belief in the organization is good and the average score is (3.63), (3) Employee self-awareness in working is good and the average score is (3.73), (4) Employee behavior in working is good and the average score is (3.70). (5) Organizational Culture at the Padang Pariaman Regency Education and Culture Office has been implemented well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh supervisi dan kompetensi profesional guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Kualitas pembelajaran merupakan indikator penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan proses pendidikan, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal. Di antara faktor-faktor tersebut, supervisi dan kompetensi profesional guru dianggap penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 10 guru di sekolah yang dipilih, dan teknik pengambilan sampel total digunakan, artinya seluruh anggota populasi dilibatkan sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur berdasarkan pengukuran skala Likert yang mencakup variabel supervisi, kompetensi profesional, dan kualitas pembelajaran. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, analisis korelasi, dan analisis regresi berganda untuk menentukan hubungan dan pengaruh antar variabel. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa supervisi berada dalam kategori cukup baik, sedangkan kompetensi profesional guru dan kualitas pembelajaran berada dalam kategori baik. Lebih lanjut, hasil analisis korelasi dan regresi menunjukkan bahwa supervisi dan kompetensi profesional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. Bersama-sama, kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa persentase yang cukup besar dari kualitas pembelajaran dijelaskan oleh supervisi dan kompetensi profesional, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam studi ini. Kesimpulannya, supervisi yang efektif dan kompetensi profesional guru yang tinggi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kedua aspek ini sangat penting untuk mendukung hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the role of artistic supervision in improving the pedagogical competence of junior high school teachers. This research was motivated by the suboptimal level of teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in lesson planning, classroom management, selection of teaching methods, and learning evaluation. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving school principals, supervisors, and junior high school teachers. The results indicated that artistic supervision has been implemented through humanistic, dialogical, and reflective approaches; however, its implementation has not been optimal and consistent due to the continued use of traditional, instructional, and evaluative supervision approaches, as well as weak follow-up activities. This study concludes that artistic supervision plays an important role in improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, but it needs to be implemented systematically, collaboratively, and sustainably to achieve comprehensive and continuous improvement.
