Abstract

Improving the quality of Sharia higher education is a strategic necessity in the face of the increasingly complex dynamics of globalization and scientific transformation. This research aims to analyze how the implementation of field studies can serve as an instrument to enhance the academic and professional quality of the Master of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. In particular, this study examines the relevance of field experience, learning outcomes, and quality assurance systems implemented in the postgraduate environment. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The results showed that field studies nationally and internationally is able to strengthen three main dimensions of education quality: (1) academic competence, which is shown through the ability of students to integrate Islamic education theory with practice in the field; (2) social competence, through cross-cultural collaboration and institutions that enrich scientific perspectives; and (3) improvement of the internal quality assurance system, where the results of FS are used as reflective materials for the improvement of curriculum and learning methods.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of cultivating tolerance among students in inclusive elementary schools, where regular students and students with special needs learn together. The aims of this study are to analyze the integration of multicultural education in learning practices, identify its influence on the development of students’ tolerance, and examine the role of teachers as mediators between multicultural values and tolerance practices in inclusive classrooms. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, drawing data from literature on inclusive education, multicultural education, and character formation. The findings indicate that multicultural education significantly contributes to fostering respect for differences through the integration of multicultural values into instructional content, teaching methods, learning media, and school routines. Teachers play a central role in creating an inclusive learning climate and encouraging tolerant behaviors among students. This study emphasizes that teachers’ competencies and supportive inclusive education policies are crucial in ensuring the successful development of tolerance in inclusive elementary schools.

Abstract

This article written to review and analyse about funding managemen in the Islamic Middle School (Madrasa) level. This research was conducted in a non-profit Islamic Secondary School, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Wates (MTs Muh Wates) by qualitative approach and descriptively explained. Data acquisition was carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation. At the research site, educational funds are obtained from at least two sources, there are School Operational Assistance / Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) obtained from National Revenue and Expenditure Budget / Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) funds and committee donations from student’s parents. All these funds are accumulated and allocated on costs needed for the necessary expenses to facilitate teaching and learning activities in the school. Abstract

The new normal era resulted in many factors, including early childhood education institutions, such as the Primagama Kindergarten in Yogyakarta. The life and death of an institution lie in how the marketing of the educational institution is. This study aims to describe the marketing strategy, impact, and marketing barriers of Primagama Yogyakarta Kindergarten in the New Normal Era. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. They were collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis uses the Milles and Huberman model. Test the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and techniques. This study indicates that the marketing of the Primagama Yogyakarta Kindergarten institution begins with building a brand with show ups, collaboration with TV stations, radio, mass media, and active social media. Furthermore, the marketing of Primagama Kindergarten begins with market research, determining various strategies such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and website and controlling by collecting suggestions from various parties. The era of the marketing pandemic is carried out by maximizing social media. The marketing impact of the pandemic era is the lack of offline customers. This is because there are obstacles in the pandemic era, including the limitation of meeting face to face, the government's appeal for a ban on face-to-face contact, and the declining purchasing power of the people. The research findings contribute to marketing strategies for early childhood education institutions in the pandemic era that can use social media.

Abstract

The research entitled “The Concept of Islamic Basic Education Based on the Tricenter of Education” aims to find out how important the tricenter of education is in basic Islamic education, especially for children. Carrying out a tricentre education study is important because many people in society hand over matters of religious education to schools, even though parents and the community have very important roles and functions as well. This research method is qualitative with a literature review approach. The results of this research are that Islamic basic education with a tricentral approach is very important to implement. So that education is not only focused on educational institutions, but rather the family environment and community have a sense of responsibility for basic Islamic education.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of information and communication technology has had a major impact on the education sector. The use of mobile banking is increasingly being used in higher education for UKT payments. Therefore, the use of mobile banking can achieve its goals if used efficiently. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of using mobile banking in UKT payments by students by highlighting aspects of speed, cost savings, ease of access, and the obstacles faced. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach involving 10 students of the Islamic Education Management Masters Study Program (MPI) at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta as research subjects. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic methods. The research results show that the use of mobile banking provides time efficiency, reduces administrative costs, and reduces recording errors. Apart from that, students are satisfied with the flexibility of transactions that can be carried out anytime and anywhere. However, there are several obstacles, such as uneven levels of digital literacy and internet network disruptions that affect the smoothness of transactions. Apart from that, concerns about data security are also a major concern for some students. This research recommends increasing digital literacy, strengthening network infrastructure, and providing digital security education to support a more inclusive and efficient implementation of mobile banking. These findings are expected to help educational institutions and financial service providers in optimizing digital payment systems for ease and sustainability of educational services. Penggunaan mobile banking semakin banyak digunakan di perguruan tinggi untuk pembayaran UKT. Oleh karena itu penggunaan mobile banking dapat mencapai tujuannya apabila digunakan secara efisien. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti tingkat literasi digital yang belum merata dan gangguan jaringan internet yang memengaruhi kelancaran transaksi. Selain itu, kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan data juga menjadi perhatian utama sebagian mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan literasi digital, penguatan infrastruktur jaringan, serta edukasi keamanan digital untuk mendukung implementasi mobile banking yang lebih inklusif dan efisien. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu institusi pendidikan dan penyedia layanan keuangan dalam mengoptimalkan sistem pembayaran digital untuk kemudahan dan keberlanjutan layanan pendidikan. Abstract

This research aims to determine the various problems of online learning at the level of early childhood education units during the COVID-19 pandemic. As for the issues among them, teachers have not all mastered IT; students tend to get bored too long studying at home. Likewise, parents are not ready to change the role of teachers at home and the policies of the central government and local governments and other issues.  This research uses a qualitative approach. Respondent consists of a teacher of 12 people and a parent of 25 people. Research location in Ponorogo Regency, East Java. The process of retrieving data using questionnaires through a google form. The results showed there were colorful problems, including 1) communication between educators, parents, and protégés, 2) the lack of costs for procurement of information technology facilities, and the price for online learning needs, 3) the right online learning method for early childhood. While the obstacles faced by parents are 1) mastery of material submitted to the child, 2) less growing the interest of the child, 3) internet network problems, 4) time accompanying the child to study online.
