Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the linkages between transformational leadership, innovation, and organizational learning in improving individual and group performance. This study uses a narrative literature review approach to analyze relevant studies, with research data coming from indexed academic literature over the past ten years. The analysis focused on identifying the relationships, mediating and moderating factors among the three elements. The results show that transformational leadership has a significant impact on individual performance, both directly and through the mediation of innovation and organizational learning. Innovation acts as a catalyst that strengthens the relationship between leadership and performance, while organizational learning helps improve adaptation to technological change and external dynamics. The implications of these findings include the importance of developing an adaptive and innovative organizational culture, particularly in the education sector. In conclusion, this study makes significant theoretical and practical contributions by offering a new conceptual framework for understanding the interaction between leadership, innovation and organizational learning. The findings are relevant to support managerial strategies in creating a collaborative, innovative and sustainable work environment in the digital era.

Abstract

Transformational leadership has been widely recognized as an effective leadership style in driving innovation, improving performance, and shaping adaptive organizational culture. This article aims to comprehensively examine the influence of transformational leadership on innovation, performance, and organizational culture through a literature review. This research identifies four key dimensions of transformational leadership-idealized influence (charisma), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration-that contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and individual development. The results of the literature review indicate that transformational leaders are not only able to improve performance and drive innovation, but also build an organizational culture that supports collaboration, openness to change, and empowerment of team members. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing transformational leadership skills to create an environment that motivates employees, encourages creativity, and ensures the sustainability of innovation in organizations. In addition, this study also provides insight into the role of readiness to change in enhancing transformational leadership effectiveness. Theoretically, this article enriches the literature on transformational leadership, providing new perspectives on the application of this leadership style in the context of dynamic organizational change.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the historical and cultural values of Tanah Jawa in the 18th and 19th centuries in the context of the phenomenon of historical amnesia among the younger generation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a listening-recording technique, in which secondary data is obtained from Peter Carey's oral narration in Gita Wirjawan's YouTube channel entitled “Tanah Jawa 300 Years ago”. The analysis results show that figures such as Prince Diponegoro and Roekmini, as well as the palace cultural system, have strategic roles in forming national identity and strengthening Indonesia's soft power. The phenomenon of historical amnesia that obscures the understanding of history is the starting point of the discussion. This research confirms the importance of revitalizing history through popular media and cultural education as a strategy for future cultural management.

Abstract

The YouTube video titled “Paradoxical Ways to Find Passion” presented by Gita Wirjawan as a guest speaker is part of a reflective discussion series that explores non-conventional approaches to finding passion amidst the complexity of modern life. In this video, Gita Wirjawan discusses the importance of minimizing blind spots in areas of ignorance or limited personal insight as a strategy to paradoxically find passion. One of the main points raised is the importance of challenging oneself by doing things that are contrary to one's habits or main expertise. This approach aims to broaden perspectives and minimize blind spots, so that individuals can find passion through unexpected and cross-disciplinary experiences. Thus, Gita Wirjawan emphasizes that passion is not always found through the exploration of familiar interests, but rather through the courage to step out of the comfort zone and explore new, previously unfamiliar fields. This paradoxical approach encourages individuals to open themselves up to new experiences as a way to find authentic and meaningful passions.

Abstract

This study is to explore how contemporary women, as representations of modern-day Kartini, are capable of challenging the status quo through their ideas and concrete actions, particularly in the field of education. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method using the listen-and-note technique, as data were obtained by observing verbal narratives from the YouTube channel of Gita Wirjawan, titled "Maudy Ayunda: Kartini Modern Berani Tantang Status Quo", featuring Maudy Ayunda, along with public documentation of her thoughts on the urgency of transforming Indonesia’s education system. The findings reveal that Maudy Ayunda’s perspectives on holistic education, curriculum flexibility, and digital literacy reflect the spirit of emancipation that not only advocates for women's rights but also expands the space for systemic reform in an education system that remains rigid and non-inclusive. As a figure of the modern Kartini, Maudy utilizes digital platforms to foster collective awareness of the need to shift educational paradigms. This study originates from the observation of the evolving roles of women in digital society and the growing urgency for systemic change within higher education institutions and beyond.

Abstract

The decision to buy a product is strongly influenced by the level of trust that the buyer has in the item. Testimonials serve as a tool for marketers to ease consumers' fears regarding the products they want to buy. Testimonials in television commercials done through homeshopping tend to be in control. The selection of interviewees, the use of scripts, and the editing process can be considered as a way of media control over the information received by the public. This research focuses on analyzing testimonials from the point of view of the logic of the content contained. The method applied to evaluate these logical errors is qualitative content analysis. The text is divided using Toulmin's model into three parts, namely claims, grounds and warranties. In this study, logical fallacies are used as a tool to assess the logic of testimonials based on their content. The findings of this study show that there are logical fallacies present in the content of testimonials. The types of errors include false generalization, double fallacy, composition fallacy, wealth call fallacy, pity call fallacy, and compulsion call fallacy.

Abstract

The digital era demands a redefinition of the concept of intelligence, which has tended to focus solely on the intellectual aspect. In reality, individual success in various fields is more often determined by the ability to collaborate, manage ego, and adapt socially. Through an analysis of Dr. Tirta's interview in the Endgame podcast, this paper explores the role of ego in inhibiting the collaboration process and the importance of social intelligence in building leadership that is relevant to the challenges of the times. A qualitative approach was used to examine the content of the discussion, which was then linked to various academic literature on leadership, collaboration, and social behavior. The results of the study indicate that cross-sector collaboration and control over personal ego are the main manifestations for creating effective collective solutions. This paper recommends the need for an emphasis on character education and collaboration as part of developing intelligence in the digital era.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, organizational competitiveness is increasingly influenced by the quality of its human capital. Central to this is work culture, which serves as a foundation for promoting innovation, productivity, and employee well-being. This study adopts a qualitative literature review approach to examine how work culture affects employee performance. The analysis synthesizes findings from scholarly sources published within the last decade to ensure relevance and rigor. Results reveal that a strong and positive work culture characterized by open communication, mutual respect, ethical values, and managerial support—significantly contributes to individual and team performance. Moreover, cultural elements such as selfefficacy, motivation, fair workload distribution, and a supportive work environment mediate the relationship between organizational values and employee outcomes. These insights affirm the necessity of fostering a collaborative, values-driven workplace culture as a strategic imperative for sustainable organizational success.
