Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of field observations, namely the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education learning for grade V at SDN 16 Padang Besi. These problems are indicated by students not working freely and tending to be silent, students participating less in making decisions, ineffective communication between students. In addition, the learning process is still teacher-centered so that students feel bored and tired in the learning process. This study aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research data obtained are related to student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests and non-tests. The subjects of this study were the class teacher as observer, the researcher as practitioner, and 26 fifth grade students of SDN 16 Padang Besi. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes. The average learning outcome of the attitude aspect of cycle I was 69.92, then increased in cycle II to 84.97, the average learning outcome of the knowledge aspect of cycle I was 84.52, then increased in cycle II to 87.5, the average learning outcome of the skills aspect of cycle I was 73.55, then increased in cycle II to 84.61. Thus, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of group investigation type assisted by flash cards can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning in fifth grade of SDN 16 Padang Besi.

Abstract

This study was conducted due to the relatively low learning achievements of fifth-grade students at SDN 13 Pasar Remaja, Sawahlunto City, in Pancasila Education. Contributing factors included students’ limited understanding and idea development, low participation in group activities, incomplete teaching materials prepared by the teacher, and a learning process still largely dominated by teacher explanations. Therefore, this research aimed to examine improvements in student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model in Pancasila Education. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) employed both qualitative and quantitative approaches and was carried out in two cycles: the first cycle comprising two meetings and the second cycle one meeting. Each cycle involved planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects included the class teacher and 23 students. Data were collected through evaluation of the Lesson Plan (RPM), classroom observation, and assessment of student learning outcomes using test and non-test instruments. The findings indicated improvements in all observed areas: RPM evaluation rose from 89.58% in Cycle I to 95.83% in Cycle II, teacher and student activity increased from 90% to 95%, and student learning outcomes improved from 72.32% to 83.86%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model is effective in enhancing the learning achievements of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education at SDN 13 Pasar Remaja, Sawahlunto City.

Abstract

The cultivation of values in Pancasila education plays an important role in shaping character and fostering a sense of pride in the nation among elementary school students. However, in practice, learning is still dominated by conventional methods, such as textbooks and worksheets, while the use of digital media has not been optimal even though supporting facilities are available. This situation affects students' motivation to learn, making them less active in participating in Pancasila education, especially in topics on Social and Cultural Diversity. This study aims to develop a learning media in the form of a website based on Google Sites for fourth-grade Pancasila education in elementary schools, and to examine its validity and practicality. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, limited to the stages of analysis, design, development, and implementation. The data was obtained through observation, interviews, student needs analysis questionnaires, validation instruments by material experts, language experts, and media experts, as well as practicality questionnaires for teachers and students. The results of the study show that the developed website has very high validity, with percentages of 97.3% from material experts, 95% from language experts, and 92% from media experts, making the average validity 94.76%. This media is also very practical, proven by teacher responses of 96%, 94%, and 90%, as well as student responses of 91.4%, 94.33%, and 92.66% across three elementary schools. Thus, this Google Sites-based interactive learning media is suitable to be used as a supporting tool for teaching Pancasila Education in fourth grade elementary classrooms.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 32 Tanjuang Bonai caused by limited student engagement, the use of lecture-dominated teaching methods, and suboptimal group learning activities that failed to fully activate student participation. This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in Pancasila Education. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through test and non-test techniques, including assessment of the Learning Implementation Module (RPM), teacher and student activity observation, and student learning outcomes encompassing attitude, knowledge, and skills dimensions. The subjects of this study were the teacher and 20 fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 32 Tanjuang Bonai during the January–June semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Abstract

This classroom action research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education at SD Negeri 26 Air Tawar Timur, Padang, where only 61% of students reached the minimum learning target and the class average score was 77.4. Learning was still teacher-centred, monotonous, and lacked interactive media, so students tended to be passive. This study aimed to describe the improvement of the deep learning design, the implementation of teaching, and the learning outcomes of the Gotong Royong element of Pancasila Education through the Cooperative Learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type assisted by Wordwall . This action research followed the Kemmis and McTaggart model, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches across two cycles, each consisting of two meetings following the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects were the teacher and 28 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through tests and non-test instruments (observation sheets) and analysed descriptively using percentages. The results showed that the lesson design improved from 88.4% (good) in Cycle I to 94.6% (very good) in Cycle II; teacher activity rose from 89.3% to 96.4%, and student activity rose from 85.7% to 96.4%. Student learning outcomes, covering attitude, knowledge, and skill aspects, increased from an average of 78.8 (sufficient) in Cycle I to 87.3 (good) in Cycle II. It is concluded that the TGT model assisted by Wordwall effectively improves the deep learning design, the teaching and learning process, and the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Pancasila Education at SDN 18 Kampung Baru, Padang City. The instructional process remained teacher-centered, lacked innovative or game-based learning models, and involved suboptimal group learning activities. The study aimed to describe the design of the Weekly Learning Plan (RPPM), the implementation of instruction, and the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) followed the Kemmis and Taggart model, employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches across two cycles; each cycle comprised the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 25 fourth-grade students. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes from an average of 70.32 in Cycle I to 90.5. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Wordwall-assisted Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education for fourth-grade students at SDN 18 Kampung Baru, Padang City.
