Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in stimulating local economic development through the management of village-based potential resources, particularly in the tourism sector. Panaikang Village, located in Sinjai Timur District, South Sulawesi, possesses significant coastal tourism potential, notably Mallenreng Beach. However, limited managerial capacity and inadequate understanding of tourism management have constrained the optimal performance of BUMDes in managing this destination. This community empowerment program aimed to strengthen the managerial capacity of BUMDes and local communities in managing Mallenreng Beach as a sustainable village tourism destination. The program was implemented through a participatory approach involving initial field surveys, problem identification, socialization, and capacity-building training activities conducted by the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) in collaboration with community service students. The activities focused on tourism management principles, destination branding, community involvement, and sustainable development strategies. The results indicate improved awareness and understanding among BUMDes managers and community members regarding tourism governance, resource utilization, and the importance of integrated management practices. Furthermore, the program contributed to the formulation of a tourism development concept emphasizing the sunrise attraction of Mallenreng Beach and supported the village’s participation in the 2023 National Tourism Village Competition. This empowerment initiative demonstrates that strengthening institutional capacity and community participation can enhance the competitiveness of village tourism, stimulate local economic growth, and support the achievement of sustainable development goals. Continuous mentoring and collaboration with higher education institutions are recommended to ensure long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The Darul Muttaqin Mosque has encountered a phenomenon that has become a concern, namely the misuse of mosque facilities, particularly the use of the mosque as a sleeping area by some students. Although the mosque's primary purpose is for worship and religious activities, the phenomenon of students sleeping in the mosque has been occurring more frequently. This study aims to explore in depth the strategies employed by the management of the Darul Muttaqin Mosque to address the misuse of mosque facilities, specifically regarding the issue of sleeping in the mosque. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The theoretical framework used is Henry Mintzberg’s (1939) Strategic Management Theory. The findings indicate that mosque management faces challenges in maintaining the sanctity and primary function of the mosque as a place of worship. The misuse of mosque facilities, particularly the use of the mosque as a sleeping area, often occurs due to a lack of ethical awareness and discipline among visitors. Although the mosque management has made efforts to reprimand visitors sleeping in inappropriate areas, these efforts often fail to yield consistent results. Therefore, a more systematic and participatory approach is needed to address this issue.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers. Academic supervision is a strategic effort in developing the professional competence of BK teachers in schools. The research method used was a literature review, analyzing various sources related to academic supervision and the professionalism of BK teachers from 2017 to 2025. The results indicate that academic supervision, implemented systematically, planned, and continuously, can improve the pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence of BK teachers. Effective academic supervision includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up, involving collaboration between supervisors and BK teachers. Good implementation of academic supervision will impact the quality of guidance and counseling services to students. The conclusion of this study confirms that academic supervision is an important instrument in improving the professionalism of BK teachers through continuous coaching, guidance, and competency development. Abstract

This research is a literature review aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of combining conventional marketing strategies, digital marketing, and the use of QR Code technology in enhancing the marketing performance of business actors, particularly MSMEs. The study was conducted using a descriptive method with secondary data sources from previous research over the last ten years. The analysis results show a shift in marketing patterns from conventional to digital, but conventional methods remain relevant for certain segments. The integration of both is proven to be more effective compared to using either strategy separately. Additionally, QR Code technology serves as a digital enabler that bridges offline promotional materials with digital access, makes it easier for consumers to obtain product information, increases transaction efficiency, and expands marketing reach. Overall, the combination of conventional marketing strategies, digital marketing, and QR Code technology becomes an ideal approach for business actors to increase competitiveness and expand the market in the digital business era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rhetorical strategies employed in campaign banners of legislative candidates in the 2024 General Election in Pekanbaru City using the Aristotelian rhetorical framework of ethos, pathos, and logos. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method based on textual analysis of the verbal and visual messages contained in campaign banners. Data were collected through stratified purposive sampling and analyzed to identify the forms, dominant tendencies, and implications of rhetorical strategy use in visual-based political campaigning. The findings indicate that ethos is the most dominant rhetorical strategy. Candidates’ credibility is constructed through the emphasis on personal identity, political track records, social and local affiliation, religious legitimacy, and narratives of integrity and leadership responsibility. Pathos functions as a supporting strategy manifested through political promises, personal and religious appeals, as well as creative humor to establish emotional closeness with voters. Meanwhile, logos appears in a limited and simplified form, primarily through references to technocratic capacity and institutional functions, indicating the existence of rational constraints inherent in campaign banners as static visual media. This study concludes that the ethos–pathos–logos hierarchy in campaign banners is contextual and shaped by media characteristics as well as the social configuration of the local community.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a web-based early childhood education (PAUD) administration and management information system through the application of the ADDIE model in improving the quality of educational services. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects include school principals, teachers, administrative staff, and parents of students. Data collection techniques are conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The study results indicate that the web-based PAUD administration and management information system has the potential to be a feasible and effective medium in supporting administrative management, data processing, and information delivery in PAUD institutions. The implementation of this system also contributes to improving work efficiency and the quality of educational services. Thus, a web-based information system through the ADDIE model can become a solution in supporting.

Abstract

Pondasi merupakan elemen struktur bawah yang berfungsi menyalurkan beban bangunan ke lapisan tanah pendukung. Pada kondisi tanah berlapis, ketidakseragaman sifat tanah dapat memengaruhi kapasitas daya dukung dan kinerja pondasi bore pile. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan analisis yang mampu merepresentasikan kondisi lapangan secara lebih akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya dukung aksial pondasi bore pile tunggal menggunakan metode analitis Meyerhof dan Reese & O’Neill serta metode elemen hingga (FEM) dengan Plaxis 2D, kemudian membandingkannya dengan hasil uji lapangan Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA). Metode penelitian meliputi analisis data SPT, parameter tanah laboratorium, pemodelan numerik FEM, serta perhitungan daya dukung secara analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daya dukung ultimit metode Meyerhof sebesar 2.675,04 kN, metode Reese & O’Neill sebesar 1.536,62 kN, dan metode FEM sebesar 1.858,50 kN, sedangkan hasil PDA test sebesar 1.864,60 kN. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode elemen hingga memberikan nilai yang paling mendekati kondisi aktual lapangan dengan selisih yang sangat kecil. Kesimpulannya, metode FEM lebih representatif dalam memodelkan perilaku interaksi tanah–pondasi pada kondisi tanah berlapis dibandingkan metode analitis konvensional. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode elemen hingga sebagai alternatif dalam desain pondasi dalam dengan dukungan data tanah yang lengkap. Implikasinya, pendekatan FEM dapat meningkatkan akurasi perencanaan pondasi serta mengurangi ketidakpastian desain pada proyek konstruksi geoteknik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of live streaming and content marketing on purchase intention of Paris Varisha hijab products on TikTok Shop among Generation Z in Bogor Regency. The rapid development of digital technology and the increasing use of social media, particularly TikTok, have significantly transformed consumer behavior in online shopping. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents categorized as Generation Z. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that both live streaming and content marketing have a positive effect on purchase intention, both partially and simultaneously. Live streaming enhances interactive experiences and builds consumer trust, while content marketing attracts attention through creative and relevant content. Therefore, the combination of these two strategies is effective in increasing consumer purchase intention on the TikTok Shop platform.
