Abstract

Pengembangan Literasi menjadi salah satu hal yang sangat penting untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang anak. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya dari lingkungan terdekat yakni orang tua dalam pendampingan anak agar memiliki kemampuan literasi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam mengembangkan literasi pada anak usia dini. Penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang tua yang memiliki anak usia empat tahun di Desa Sumberjaya. Pada penelitian ini penulis sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dimulai dari pengumpuan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam mengembangkan literasi pada anak usia dini diantaranya orang tua membiasakan membacakan buku kepada anak, orang tua menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai, orang tua memiliki jadwal yang teratur untuk belajar maupun bermain pada anak, orang tua menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan, memberikan reward sebagai wujud apresiasi kepada anak, dan orang tua harus menjadi suri tauladan bagi anak. Anak yang mendapat peranan orang tua lebih dapat memiliki peluang untuk berkembang lebih baik dalam literasi dari pada anak yang kurang mendapat peranan dari orang tuanya.

Abstract

The phenomenon in the Alpha generation has many challenges in parenting. Children's daily life cannot be separated from digital devices is one of the factors that have the potential to affect children's growth and development. The challenge of the digital age is because these digital devices are very neutral which has a positive as well as negative impact on their users. This study aims to analyze the application of parenting activities in Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection used observation techniques, interviews with the principal, two class teachers and two parents of students of Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten with interview guidelines in the form of unstructured interviews. Data analysis through the process of reducing the data obtained, presenting data, and finally drawing conclusions. The results showed that the involvement of parents in early childhood education in parenting activities is still in the category of lack of this, as can be seen from the process of involving parents in the classroom when learning activities have not been implemented. Parental involvement is still in orientation activities, religious events and field trips.  Obstacles in implementation come from parental and school factors. The application of digital parenting in Harapan Bunda Karak Kindergarten has also not been implemented. The importance of implementing digital parenting in schools is something that must be considered considering the current condition that children cannot be kept away from digital devices in a hurry. The solution to the dangers of digital devices for children is through the application of digital parenting

Abstract

Creativity is one of a person's ability to be able to dedicate the results of ideas or thoughts through concrete forms or works. In creating the work should get the right stimulus from various parties. The teacher's ability to stimulate early childhood is one of the supporting factors. In addition, the use of media and teaching materials is important in efforts to increase creativity in children. One of the activities that teachers can apply to make this happen is to use the stencil printing technique. The research method used is qualitative with a sample selection of 3 people in the 5-6 year age category and classifying children's works in art activities. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of applying stencil printing techniques to increase early childhood creativity. While the data collection technique uses preliminary information obtained from class teachers and school principals as well as the results of initial observations. From the research results it is known that this technique is able to increase the creativity of early childhood in the art of coordinating colors. The new finding in this study is that the stencil printing technique can be applied to children by simplifying the tools and materials used by the teacher according to the learning needs and characteristics of the children.

Abstract

The importance of parenting in the use of gadgets is the main point for optimizing children's growth and development in accordance with the standard for early childhood learning achievement levels (STPPA). This study aims to describe the role of parenting in the use of gadgets in early childhood: a case study of RA An-Najah I Karduluk Sumenep which is described through a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers, parents, and students of RA An-Najah I. The data collection techniques used were the results of interviews, observations, and documentation in the use of early childhood gadgets at RA An-Najah I. The data analysis used was analysis. non-statistical. The results of the research are that some parents of RA An-Najah I students apply permissive parenting to their children, which is freeing children's activities with low control so that children's freedom is very high. On the other hand, parents also apply the pattern of guidance by setting limits on how long they play gadgets for children, providing rules for accessing the features contained in the device, and accompanying children directly when playing on the device as well as directing children to access the features in it.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar mengetahui perkembangan sosial dan emosional pada anak setelah menggunakan media permainan boneka tangan selama pembelajaran di kelas. Adanya media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar diharapkan dapat membangkitkan minat, merangsang kegiatan belajar, bahkan membawa pengaruh-pengaruh psikologi terhadap peserta didik. Perlu diketahui bahwasanya perkembangan sosial dan perkembangan emosional mempunyai keterkaitan yang saling mempengaruhi, ketika perkembangan emosi anak berkembang dengan baik, maka akan memudahkan anak untuk berinteraksi dengan baik pula terhadap orang-orang yang ada disekitarnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media boneka tangan ini sangat efektif untuk menstimulus perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan kemampuan anak berbagi dengan teman, bisa berinteraksi dengan baik melalui sebuah dialog yang dimainkan melalui boneka tangan, bisa bermain secara berkelompok, selain itu anak juga sudah mulai bisa menunjukkan emosinya ketika memainkan sebuah peran dari boneka tangannya, entah itu emosi sedih, senang, dan yang lainnya.

Abstract

Volunteers participate in charitable activities sincerely without any certain expectations. Concerning this volunteerism, this study aims to investigate the influence of character strength on happiness in environmental and educational volunteers. Employing Seligman's happiness scale as a measurement instrument (α = 0.615) and Peterson and Seligman's (α = 0. 976) Value in Action - Inventory of Strength (VIA-IS) as a measurement instrument to determine character strength, 99 volunteers working in environmental and educational fields of voluntary organizations were recruited. The inclusion criteria for recruiting these participants included male or female participants over 18 years old, active at the organizations for at least six months, unmarried, and living in Yogyakarta. All obtained data were analyzed by using a Spearman correlation analysis technique and a regression analysis technique. The results of this study showed that some of the most influential types of character strength on happiness were leadership (r = 0.354, p = 0.000), appreciation of beauty and excellence (r = 0.337, p = 0.001), gratitude (r = 0.311, p = 0.002), forgiveness (r = 0.305, p = 0.002), and open-mindedness (r = 0.301, p = 0.002). In addition, types of character strength significantly influencing happiness are closely related to collectivistic culture.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Parents become role models for growth and development in children's daily lives. The contribution of parents as an effort to motivate, guide, stimulate and provide facilities in order to achieve the ideals of child development. The term parental attachment is also called attachment between parents and children which is very important in growth and development, so that positive energy is created for children. Religious and moral development is very important to be formed from an early age such as tolerance, honest behavior, courtesy and responsibility. Forming positive characters through religion and morals, with the hope of forming a generation that is moral, religious and dignified. Therefore, researchers are interested in studying more deeply about how parental attachment is to religious and moral development at RA DWP UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The method used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative method. Abstract

Students’ motivation to learn has many important influences on university students. Motivation can increase learning involvement, learning autonomy, social presence and enrolment, critical thinking skills, writing skills, problem-solving skills, and learning achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of social support on student learning motivation through the mediator of religiosity. The research subjects were 202 students (male and female) at an Islamic university. The measuring instruments used are the Islamic Religiosity Scale from Nashori, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support from Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, and Farley, and the Learning Motivation Scale from Utami, Nashori, and Rachmawati. The data were analyzed using stepwise regression. The results showed that social support and religiosity influenced learning motivation. So, social support influenced learning motivation with religiosity as a full mediator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru yang meliputi strategi, permainan dan kendala-kendala guru dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak di era new normal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek untuk penelitian ini adalah guru kelas kelompok B dan anak kelas kelompok B TK Islam An Nahdliyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi yang dilakukan guru yaitu membuat anak berkonsentrasi terlebih dahulu, selanjutnya guru memberikan contoh kepada anak, kemudian menuntun anak untuk mempraktekkan secara langsung. Dalam rangka menunjang perkembangan motorik kasar anak guru menerapkan berbagai kegiatan atau permainan seperti mencuci tangan sebelum memasuki ruang kelas, senam pagi, baris berbaris, gerak dan lagu animal dance, praktek wudhu dan sholat. Kendala dalam mengembangkan motorik kasar anak seperti belum terbiasa dengan penerapan 5M, anak membutuhkan pengawasan ekstra, anak mudah bosan dengan permainan, dan guru mengurangi permainan yang banyak menggunakan kontak fisik.
