Abstract

The ability to communicate with children is a teacher competency that can support the learning process. Good teacher communication will support the achievement of children's development to be more optimal. This article aims to determine the role of teachers in developing children's responsibility through effective, empathic, and polite communication. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of this research is 19 children, class teachers, and accompanying teachers at An-Nur II Kindergarten. Data analysis technique in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Effective communication is seen through an energetic speaking style and supportive body movements. Empathetic and polite communication is seen through responsiveness to children, the use of positive language and a friendly tone, giving appreciation without blaming, and aligning the body when communicating with children. This kind of communication can develop children's responsible behavior. Children are able to follow the teacher's directions, share food, obey the teacher, and listen to the teacher. However, the seating position of children with a group model, the use of mixed language, and the use of media without children exploring it are inhibiting factors in effective communication.

Abstract

Abstrak: kehilangan orang tua ( kematian) menjadi fakta yang tidak bisa dihindari dalam kehidupan manusia. Peneliatian ini bermaksud untuk melihat dampak psikologis remaja kehilangan orang tua dan konsep mahbbah Rumi. PadaPenelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, yang melibatkan analisis teoritis dan referensi dari literatur ilmiah yang relevan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode dokumentasi, dengan mengacu pada buku, artikel ilmiah, atau jurnal yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang dipilih. Hasil Kehilangan orang tua bisa dikatakan sebagai suatu perisiwa emosional yang dapat menggangu psikologis anak, gangguan tersebut bahkan bisa berkaibat jangka panjang atau dewasa sehinggga berakitat menggangu perkembangan. Secara garis besar dampak psikologis terhadap anak kehilangan orang tua, depresi, kecemasan, trauma, dan motivasi menurun. konsep mahabbah Rumi memberikan pandangan bahwa cinta seharusnya menjadi obat. Mahabbah (cinta) Jalaluddin Rumi sebagai jalan supaya sampai pada kesempurnaan. jalan membersihkan diri sehingga mengantarkan manusia sampai kepada Tuhannya

Abstract

Families (caregivers) of patients with chronic illness should ideally have high subjective well-being to care for chronic illness patients well. In reality, they cry frequently, look pensive, and have difficulty carrying out daily activities. This quasi-experimental study aims to examine the effect of forgiveness therapy on increasing the subjective well-being of families (caregivers) of patients with chronic illness. There were 11 participants (3 males and 9 females) divided into two groups, i.e., the treatment group consisting of 6 persons (1 male and 5 females) and the control group consisting of 5 persons (2 males and 3 females) who have looked after the patients with chronic illness for 2–8 years. The subjective well-being was measured by the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS). The data were then analyzed using Mann-Whitney to compare means. The results showed differences in subjective well-being between the treatment and control groups. The results showed that forgiveness therapy has effectively improved subjective well-being in families or patients with chronic illness. Based on the results, the researcher suggested that forgiveness therapy can be used to provide psychological interventions to families of patients with chronic illnesses. Families still need support to optimize and stabilize the patient’s health condition

Abstract

The significant transformation of the 5.0 era presents challenges and opportunities, especially in the world of education. On the other hand, innovation in the development of information and technology requires adaptation, one of which is through emotional intelligence from an early age. The environment around children has an important role in developing children's emotional intelligence, both in the school environment and at home around children. The purpose of this study is to examine the application of developing children's emotional intelligence through prophetic parenting with an epistemological perspective at the Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo Kindergarten. This research uses a type of qualitative method through a field study approach, with data collection techniques including three stages, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The research sources consist of two subjects, namely primary sources including the results of field data and theories from books, as well as secondary sources from articles supporting this research. The analysis technique of the results of this study shows that the application of emotional intelligence in children includes seven characteristics of prophetic parenting, namely showing role models, finding the right time to give direction, being fair and equalizing gifts, fulfilling children's rights, buying children toys or rewards, helping children do obedience and filial piety, and not being angry and reproaching children. These activities are carried out through habituation and direction of children during learning hours and outside of learning, as well as monthly parenting activities with student guardians. This is in line with the point of view of epistemological philosophy which explains the origin, process, results and direction of knowledge as well as the concepts of “existence” and “existence” in education. The development of emotional intelligence through prophetic parenting at TK Muslimat NU 001 Ponorogo is very effective, systematic and recommended by the author as a reference for educators or parents in introducing and teaching emotional intelligence based on the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial emosional anak yang diasuh oleh kedua orang tuanya akan berbeda dengan anak yang hanya diasuh oleh orang tua tunggal (single mom atau single dad). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pola asuh single mom dan single dad terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak. Jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif . Subjek terdiri dari anak usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 4 orang anak beserta orang tuanya (single mom/single dad) dan informan ketiga (guru) di Lombok. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pencatatan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan mengambil kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya perbedaan pola asuh orang tua single mom yang cenderung menerapkan pola asuh otoriter dan single dad yang menerapkan pola asuh permisif dan Laissez Faire. Dari masing-masing pola asuh yang diterapkan, akan berdampak pada perkembangan sosial emosional anak yang berbeda-beda. Dampak perkembangan sosial emosional anak dari pola asuh otoriter yaitu anak sulit bergaul, dan psikologisnya cenderung pemurung. Kemudian anak dengan pola asuh permisif yaitu anak jadi kurang patuh, mau menang sendiri, agresif, kurang bertanggung jawab dan tidak mau mengalah. Dampak dari pola asuh Laissez Faire yaitu anak menjadi cenderung lebih agresif dan mempunyai konsentrasi yang kurang.

Abstract

Toleransi dan keharmonisan merupakan landasan penting bagi negara yang memiliki pertahanan kuat. Konflik sosial mungkin sulit dihindari dalam situasi tertentu sebagai akibat kurangnya toleransi terhadap perbedaan, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan agama. Konsep religiusitas tersebut merupakan konsep  yang mendasari potensi etika untuk bermasyarakat demi membangun toleransi. Prinsip dasar kajian bimbingan dan konseling antaragama adalah terciptanya keharmonisan yang langgeng sebagai upaya proaktif untuk mengurangi perselisihan sosial. Seseorang yang sadar akan agama pada umumnya akan memiliki standar moral yang tinggi. Membangun toleransi dan etika sosial dimulai dari hal ini. Dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dari berbagai buku referensi, jurnal, dan artikel penelitian terdahulu yang memberikan gambaran mengenai pengertian toleransi dalam konseling antaragama, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan literatur. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara keduanya, yaitu adanya peran penting antara agama dan etika yang membangun sikap toleransi dalam masyarakat. Dalam kajian konseling lintas agama, etika sosial merupakan unsur penting yang harus ada pada setiap diri masyarakat multikultural. Dalam mewujudkan regulasi etika sosial, perlu adanya bimbingan, ajakan, pemberian contoh, atau sanksi. Beberapa tindakan tersebut dapat diaplikasikan dalam masyarakat sesuai dengan kode etik Bimbingan dan Konseling Lintas Agama. Kata Kunci: Toleransi, Religiusitas, Moral, Konseling, Lintas Agama

Abstract

One of the Minangkabau cultural products that contains Islamic counseling values is the advice book Siti Budiman by Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli. The book describes the educational process in a family environment that seeks to instill good morals by parents to children. This discussion is increasingly important to explore, given the high level of juvenile delinquency in Minangkabau or West Sumatra, which is an administrative area in Indonesia. This article will comprehensively analyze the biography of Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli. As well as, the purpose, objectives, elements, principles, and values of Islamic counseling. The results of this study found ideas in the form of advice written by Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli related to the affirmation of faith and ideal Islamic law in Minangkabau.

Abstract

Working mothers with young children bear dual responsibilities, managing professional duties while attentively caring for their children, often leading to parenting stress. This study aims to examine the influence of Big Five personality traits on parenting stress among working mothers with young children. This research fills a gap in the literature regarding how personality aspects affect parenting stress. The study participants included working mothers with children aged 0-6 years, who are married, and residing in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The methodology utilized the Parenting Stress Scale (PSS) and The Big Five Personality Inventory (BFI), with data analysis conducted through multiple regression techniques. The results indicate that agreeableness and extraversion negatively affect parenting stress, while openness, conscientiousness, and neuroticism do not have a significant impact. These findings underscore the importance of understanding personality traits in managing parenting stress among working mothers. The implications of this study can be used to develop more effective interventions to support the mental health of working mothers.Keywords: Parenting stress, openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism.

Abstract

This research is intended to determine the role of the personality traits of neuroticism and forgiveness on the psychological well-being of students. The research subjects were active students at various universities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The method used is a quantitative method. Data were collected using the Personality Scale, Neuroticism subscale, Forgiveness Scale, and SPANE, and SWLS. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research hypothesis is that forgiveness acts as a mediator in the relationship between the personality trait of emotional stability and students' subjective well-being. The results of the research show that the neuroticism variable plays a role in the forgiveness variable with a standardized regression coefficient value of -0.569 and a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), the forgiveness variable plays a role in the subjective well-being variable with a standardized regression coefficient value of 0.264 and a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), and the neuroticism variable plays a role in the subjective well-being variable with a standardized regression coefficient value of -0.485 and a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam sebagai media dakwah dalam membangun karakter Islami. Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam bukan hanya berfokus pada penyelesaian masalah individu secara psikologis dan sosial, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana dakwah untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Melalui bimbingan yang berbasis Al-Qur’an dan Hadis, proses ini diharapkan mampu membentuk karakter yang mencerminkan akhlak mulia, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kesabaran, dan empati. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode penelitian literatur atau library research dalam kajian ini. Artinya, proses pengumpulan data sepenuhnya berfokus pada sumber-sumber literatur atau referensi pustaka. Metode ini menitikberatkan pada eksplorasi berbagai bahan bacaan, seperti buku, jurnal, artikel ilmiah, dan karya ilmiah lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian optimalisasi bimbingan dan konseling islam sebagai media dakwah dalam membangun karakter Islami terdapat lima hal yang meliputi pada sebagai berikut ini. Pertama peran bimbingan dan konseling islam dalam pembentukan karakter BKI terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai Islami kepada siswa. Kedua metode pembelajaran interaktif, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam BKI, seperti diskusi kelompok, role-playing, dan kegiatan outdoor, memberikan dampak positif dalam menarik minat siswa. Ketiga keterlibatan orang tua dan masyarakat, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua dalam program BKI sangat penting. Keempat pengembangan program yang relevan, BKI yang berhasil mengembangkan program-program yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa, seperti pelatihan kepemimpinan dan kegiatan sosial, menunjukkan hasil yang signifika. Kelima peningkatan kesadaran spiritual, salah satu hasil penting dari penerapan BKI adalah peningkatan kesadaran spiritual siswa. Abstract This study aims to examine the optimization of Islamic Guidance and Counseling as a medium of da'wah in building Islamic character. Islamic Guidance and Counseling not only focuses on solving individual problems psychologically and socially, but also functions as a means of da'wah to internalize Islamic values. Through guidance based on the Qur'an and Hadith, this process is expected to be able to form characters that reflect noble morals, such as honesty, responsibility, patience, and empathy. This study uses a literature research method or library research in this study. This means that the data collection process focuses entirely on literature sources or library references. This method emphasizes the exploration of various reading materials, such as books, journals, scientific articles, and other scientific works. The results of the study of optimizing Islamic guidance and counseling as a medium of da'wah in building Islamic character include five things which include the following. First, the role of Islamic guidance and counseling in the formation of BKI character has proven effective in conveying Islamic values ​​to students. The second interactive learning method, the learning method used in BKI, such as group discussions, role-playing, and outdoor activities, has a positive impact in attracting students' interest. The third is the involvement of parents and the community, research shows that parental involvement in the BKI program is very important. The fourth is the development of relevant programs, BKI that successfully develops programs that are relevant to students' needs, such as leadership training and social activities, shows significant results. The fifth is increasing spiritual awareness, one of the important results of the implementation of BKI is increasing students' spiritual awareness.
