Abstract

Object Description Activities Technique to Improve Students’ Speaking Skills at MTs Sirajul Huda. Thesis. English Education Department. Undergraduate Program. University of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin Bagu. 2025. This research was motivated by phenomena in the process of teaching and learning English, where students have low speaking ability several contributing factors were students have lack of confidence to speak in front of the class and also students’ vocabulary was still very low. So the students need a technique that can help them to improve their speaking skills, one of which is the Object Description Activities technique. The purpose of this research was to find out whether or not Object Description Activities technique can improve students’ speaking skills at MTs Sirajul Huda. This study used pre-experimental design. The sample was 20 eighth grade students of MTs Sirajul Huda. The instrument in this study used a speaking test in the form of Lombok tourism which familiar to students to collect data. First, the researcher gave a pretest, second gave treatment, and third the researcher gave a posttest. Researcher analyzed the data using the SPSS computer program to compare data results, the tests used were descriptive statistics, normality tests and T-tests. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that: (1) the use of Object Description Activities technique was very effective to improve students’ speaking ability. This can be seen from the results of the study which show the average value before treatment was 56.20 and the average value after treatment was 67.90. (2) the use of storytelling techniques was very suitable for use in the learning process, as evidenced by the students’ expressiveness and enthusiasm which makes the class more fun

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' problem solving by implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model. The sample used in this study was 30 students of class XI IPA-2. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one group pre-test and post-test design, problem solving data were collected through essay pre-test and post-test questions. Analysis of problem solving data was tested with statistics, namely the N-Gain test, hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T.Test. The results of the problem solving data analysis obtained an average pre-test value (67) and post-test (96) with an average N-Gain (0.81) in the high category. The results of hypothesis testing on the Paired sample T-Test obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, thus the results stated that the hypothesis testing in the study showed that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve problem solving for class XI IPA-2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Bada on static fluid material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik tentang dimensi tiga setelah menggunakan metode pemberian tugas di Kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede Kabupaten Bogor Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan sampel sejumlah 42 siswa kelas XII IPA 1 Bojong Gede, Bogor. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara tes uji kompetensi dan kuisioner wawancara. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan pada mata Pelajaran Matematika khususnya tentang dimensi tiga di kelas XII IPA 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede Kabupaten Bogor sebelum menggunakan metode pemberian tugas mempunyai nilai rata-rata 60,71. Pada saat pembelajaran diubah menggunakan metode pemberian tugas, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat menjadi 70,36 pada siklus I dan 78,81 pada siklus II. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan jumlah skor peserta didik 77 (61,11%) dalam kerjasama dengan teman, sedangkan nilai keaktifan dalam kelompok skornya 79 atau (62,69%). Kemudian peserta didik dalam aktif bertanya skornya 74 atau (58,73%). Adapun peserta didik yang mengerjakan tugas guru skornya 96 atau (76,69%), pada data mengenai aktifitas peserta didik pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa jumlah skor peserta didik 119 (94,44%) dalam kerjasama dengan teman, sedangkan nilai keaktifan dalam kelompok skornya 117 atau (92,86%). Kemudian peserta didik dalam aktif bertanya skornya 107 atau (84,92%). Adapun peserta didik yang mengerjakan tugas guru skornya 126 atau (100%).

Abstract

Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 memaksa SMP Negeri 1 Gondangwetan melaksanakan program belajar dari rumah secara daring. Meskipun demikian, penerapan kedisiplinan terhadap siswa harus diterapkan agar siswa berkarakter dan menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang bernilai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi kedisiplian, hambatan, dan upaya dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di SMP Negeri 1 Gondangwetan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil wawancara dan dokumentasi di sekolah tersebut. Penerapan kedisiplinan dalam proses pembelajaran daring dikatakan berhasil dan sukses. Meskipun ada beberapa hambatan yang dialami oleh guru dan siswa, tetapi bisa diatasi dengan baik dengan disiplin, langkah pemecahan masalah yang kreatif dan inovatif. Siswa mulai terbiasa dengan pembelajaran daring dan tertib. Hasil belajar siswa dibilang membanggakan dan semua tugas diberikan oleh guru dikerjakan dengan baik.

Abstract

Technology-based learning media is an important tool in supporting interactive and adaptive learning processes in the digital era. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of open source-based e-learning media "Mathematics Laboratory: SPLDV" in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities at MTs Negeri in Tangerang Regency. The media used is designed to facilitate interactive learning of concepts and applications of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) in everyday life. The method used is a pre-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design, where one group of students is given a pretest, then given treatment using e-learning media, and ends with a posttest. The subjects of the study were grade IX students of MTs Negeri in Tangerang Regency. Data were collected through problem-solving ability tests. The results of the analysis show that open source-based e-learning media "Mathematics Laboratory: SPLDV" can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, seen from the N-Gain percentage of pretest and posttest data of 60.815% which is included in the fairly effective category. This study is expected to provide an alternative for educators in integrating learning technology to improve students' problem-solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstract

Jaringan komputer memiliki peranan penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah, akan tetapi adapula dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan. Salah satunya rawan di serang oleh malware seperti virus dan lain sebagainya. Berdasarka permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan disebabkan oleh penyebaran malware yang terdapat dalam jaringan. Salah satu dampak adanya malware dalam jaringan kampus adalah overload traffic bandwidth, sehingga menyebabkan kendala bandwidth yang cepat habis atau lalu lintas transfer data baik yang masuk maupun yang keluar menjadi lambat dari biasanya. Umumnya sebuah kampus atau universitas memiliki struktur jaringan yang didalamnya dikelola oleh satu atau lebih router di dalam mengelola jaringan dan bandwidth. Beberapa router memiliki kemampuan pengaturan firewall yang sudah cukum mumpuni namun perlu dikelola lebih spsesifik berdasarkan kebutuhan skala jaringan dan bandwidth yang tersedia. Dengan menciptakan rule-rule yang baik di dalam firewall akan lebih mudah dalam melakukan filtering terhadap lalu lintas trafik jaringan dan bandwidth sehingga dapat menciptakan keamanan dan kenyamanan pengguna jaringan dan bandwidth. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kinerja dari mikrotik router board RB 1100 AHx2 yang dapat memfilter aktivitas malware dengan rule yang telah ditanamkan

Abstract

Multicultural Islamic education model is an effort to answer the challenges of education today. With the model, Islamic education will be present not only as a subject matter but also as a role model for sustainable development and a tool for conducting research as a whole in Indonesia as a plural nation with cultural diversity. This research uses a library research approach. The research data were collected through library data, including textbooks, articles, papers, and other sources. Multicultural Islamic Education views that education must be based on Theological, Philosophical, Juridical, Sociological, and Psychological foundations. The multicultural education model will foster high awareness of tolerance and acceptance on the cultural differences and equality of human rights.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 ini menekankan pada kemampuan 4C. Salah satu kemampuan tersebut berkaitan dengan berpikir kreatif. Untuk melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut maka pembelajaran di kelas harus bervariasi dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik agar mereka tertarik untuk bekerjasama dan menemukan sendiri konsep operasi hitung bilangan bulat seluas mungkin. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah SMPN SATAP 2 Pemenang dengan jenis penelitian PTK (penelitian tindakan kelas). Penelitian ini terdari dari 2 siklus yang tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes uraian untuk berpikir kreatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2 setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan problem based learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of implementing the Snowball Throwing learning model in improving the learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students at Abulyatama High School in Aceh Besar. This study was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which consisted of two cycles, each covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 30 students in grade XI. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, learning activity observation sheets, and critical thinking skills assessment rubrics. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, along with an improvement in their ability to analyse information, provide logical reasons, and draw conclusions based on evidence. The Snowball Throwing model proved to be capable of creating a more active, interactive, and collaborative learning atmosphere, thereby encouraging students to be directly involved in the learning process. Thus, the application of this model is highly recommended as an effective learning strategy to improve the quality of the learning process and outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to analyse the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model in improving the learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students at Abulyatama High School in Aceh Besar. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The research subjects were 30 students in grade XI. The research instruments included learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and critical thinking skills assessment guidelines. The results showed a significant increase in both learning outcomes and critical thinking skills after the implementation of the Snowball Throwing learning model. This model proved to be effective in increasing student participation, training questioning skills, and encouraging students to think analytically and evaluatively about the material being studied.

Abstract

Background: The Nurul Bahri’s Mosque Welfare Agency (BKM) develops local wisdom leadership in fostering the skills and harmony of the Muslim young generation. Research Objective: This study aims to explore the strategies in fostering Islamic leadership among youth at the Nurul Bahri Mosque in Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province, Indonesia, and its contribution to maintaining a harmonious life. Methods: This qualitative study used interviews, observation, and documentation with six BKM administrators, three mosque youth mentors, and ten purposively selected active youths engaged in leadership, arts, culture, organizational activities, and community development within mosque-based programs. This study collected data over a period of about ten months, from June 2024 to April 2025. Results: The results show that the youth development has advanced from informal activities to structured programs that enhance confidence, leadership, communication, and cultural skills. Islamic arts serve as both a means of religious outreach and a medium for creativity, social legitimacy, and interfaith tolerance. These outcomes differ from Lombok’s predominantly Muslim yet ethnically rooted Sasak culture, Belgium’s highly diverse and secular European population, and Malaysia’s multicultural Malay–Chinese–Indian society. Each demographic context shapes youth engagement and cultural expression differently, making this mosque-based model distinctive. Conclusion: This study concludes that BKM Nurul Bahri Mosque develops an integrative youth model blending spiritual education, skills training, and Islamic arts, recommending mosque adoption and policy support to strengthen youth leadership, cultural engagement, and social harmony in multicultural communities.
