Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung in Cijambe Village, Paseh District, Sumedang Regency, was implemented as a community engagement initiative to address the lack of awareness in household waste management. The program included a seminar entitled “Towards a Clean Cijambe Village: Strategies for Sustainable Waste Management”, direct assistance to local residents at the neighborhood level on organic and inorganic waste separation, as well as innovative eco-friendly product development such as compost, eco-enzyme, ecobrick, and multifunctional organic soap. The outcomes demonstrated an improvement in community knowledge and active participation in applying the 3R paradigm (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), along with the adoption of new sustainable waste management practices. Beyond enhancing environmental cleanliness, the program also contributed to the creation of local economic opportunities through waste utilization. Thus, the role of KKN students is proven to be strategic in fostering environmental awareness, strengthening community capacity, and encouraging the establishment of a sustainable community-based waste management system.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi membuka peluang besar bagi UMKM untuk meningkatkan daya saing melalui digitalisasi proses bisnis. Namun, kesenjangan dalam adopsi teknologi masih menjadi tantangan utama. Program Hi-Technopreneur dirancang sebagai solusi untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut melalui pendampingan komprehensif kepada pelaku UMKM dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Kegiatan ini juga diintegrasikan dengan perkuliahan SI Technopreneurship dan kolaborasi bersama Himpunan Mahasiswa Sistem Informasi. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM dalam manajemen bisnis, pemasaran digital, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data sehingga mampu meningkatkan produktifitas dan daya saing usaha di era ekonomi digital. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipasi aktif melalui pelatihan, pendampingan langsung, dan penyelenggaraan expo sebagai bentuk promosi produk. Program melibatkan 21 UMKM dari berbagai sektor dan 120 mahasiswa pendamping. Hasil survei terhadap UMKM menunjukkan keberhasilan program dimana 66,7% UMKM merasa sangat puas terhadap pendampingan, 71,4% UMKM sangat setuju kegiatan expo bermanfaat untuk promosi, 90,5% UMKM merasakan perubahan positif setelah pendampingan, 85,7% UMKM terbantu dalam promosi dan pemasaran digital, dan 61,9% menyatakan siap ikut program serupa di masa depan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pendampingan berbasis teknologi efektif dalam memberdayakan UMKM dan mendorong transformasi digital. Program ini juga berhasil mengintegrasikan unsur pendidikan, pengabdian, dan suasana akademik secara harmonis.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to find out and analyze how the mechanism for implementing the death penalty according to current regulations in Indonesia, (2) to find out the inhibiting factors in the implementation of the death penalty after the judge's decision. The type of research used by researchers is normative legal research, namely through a statutory approach, and a conceptual approach. The sources of legal materials used are the 1945 Constitution, Presidential Regulation, and Regulation of the Chief of Police. The technique of collecting legal materials carried out is by reviewing or analyzing laws and regulations, the 1945 Constitution, and other regulations. The results showed that (1) From the regulations related to the procedures for the implementation of the death penalty in Law No. 2 / PNPS / 1964 has not regulated the deadline for the implementation of the death penalty. It only regulates the extent of notification before execution, which is 3 x 24 hours. This uncertainty certainly creates legal uncertainty and will have an impact on the psychology of the convict. In Indonesia itself, regarding the time span after the judge's decision until he will actually be executed, in fact, it takes quite a long time. Because in casu laws and regulations do not regulate this. Regarding when the convict will be executed depends entirely on the policy of the prosecutor as executor. This cannot be done because the law in Indonesia should regulate in terms of material, formal, and implementation laws. (2) Regarding the inhibiting factors of the death penalty after the judge's decision, there are many such as statutory factors, law enforcement, and facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to regulate the implementation of the death penalty. Because the absence of this rule causes its own confusion for the community and also convicts sentenced to death. In addition, it is hoped that through the new Criminal Code, it is explained what conditions must be met by convicts so that the death penalty can be changed to a life sentence. Because when viewed from the existing rules, it is only explained related to the perpetrator's remorse and the perpetrator's relationship in criminal acts. If you only pay attention to these two factors, it is feared that in the future it will cause repeat crimes.

Abstract

. This research examines Effective Play Strategies: Psychological Stimulation for Children Through Appropriate Game Choices, emphasizing the crucial role of play in shaping children's cognitive, emotional, and social development. Play is not merely entertainment; it serves as a laboratory where children experiment, develop skills, and form their personalities. The importance of aligning play types with a child's age-appropriate developmental stage is a primary focus, recognizing that each phase of psychological development has unique stimulation needs. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review, synthesizing information from various scholarly sources such as journals, books, and research reports. Literature searches were conducted systematically using relevant keywords in databases. The study results indicate that age-appropriate game selection is vital for optimizing a child's potential. Constructive play develops spatial understanding and problem-solving; role-playing facilitates empathy and social skills; while strategy games train logic and patience. In the digital era, balancing physical and digital play is crucial to ensure holistic development. In conclusion, play is a fundamental pillar in children's psychological development, and understanding effective play strategies empowers parents and educators to become facilitators guiding children toward balanced and optimal growth.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of puppet play in the development of vocabulary and speaking skills of early childhood. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Dadirejo Village, the study involved five children aged 5–6 years and two class teachers. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The results showed that puppet play created a fun, safe learning atmosphere, and stimulated children to speak more actively and variedly. Children not only increased their vocabulary, but also improved their ability to construct complex sentences, use adjectives, conjunctions, and more complete narrative structures. In addition, puppet play facilitated social interactions that strengthened children's pragmatic and emotional expression skills. These findings support the theory of language development based on social interaction and show that puppet play is an effective, inexpensive, and easy-to-implement pedagogical strategy. Thus, puppet play can be used as a strategic alternative in the development of early childhood language, both in school and home environments

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of the influence of leadership style, communication and work environment on the performance of employees of the Benteng Micro Indonesia Sharia Cooperative Area 10 in Lebak Residence and Bogor Residence. This research describes in detail the role and function of leadership style, communication and work environment, analyzes the factors that have an influence on employee performance, and determines the indicators used to measure employee performance. The research method used is quantitative research, with a sampling technique carried out by collecting data from a number of employees through questionnaires. Data processing was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. Simultaneous test results showed that leadership style had insignificant results on employee performance, while communication and work environment had significant results and had a positive effect on employee performance. These findings provide useful insights for cooperative area managers and all branch leaders, because they can take concrete steps to improve the performance of their employees.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of competency and work discipline on employee performance at Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. The method used is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation, literature study, and documentation. The population in this study was all employees of Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency in 2023, totaling 403 people. With a sample of 80 people obtained using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used uses multiple regression by going through the instrument prerequisite test stages (validity test and reliability test) and classic assumption. The results of the research show that: The Competency Variable has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. Or it could be said that H1 is accepted, which means employee competency influences employee performance at Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. Meanwhile, the research results for the Work Discipline and its influence on employee performance, concluded that there was a positive and significant influence on employee performance at Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. Thus, H2 of the research is accepted, or it can be concluded that there is an influence between work discipline and the employees of Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. And for research regarding the influence of Competency and Work Discipline together on employee performance, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence on employee performance at Kartini Hospital, Lebak Regency. Or in other words, H3 of this research is accepted.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of religiosity on the performance of educational staff at the Daar El-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Tangerang Islamic Boarding School, and to determine the effect of commitment on the performance of educational staff at the Daar El-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Islamic Boarding School, Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. This research method is a quantitative descriptive approach. The research population was all educational staff at Daar El Qolam Islamic Boarding School 1 Gitung, Jayanti, Tangerang, totaling 42 educational staff. Using a saturated sample by taking all the educational staff at the Daar El-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Tangerang Islamic Boarding School. And the analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression testing. The results of the study concluded that H1 was accepted, which means that the religiosity variable (X1) has a positive and significant influence on the performance of educational staff (Y) in educational staff at the Daar el-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Tangerang Islamic Boarding School. In the commitment variable (X2) there is a positive and significant influence on the performance of educational staff (Y) in educational staff at the Daar el-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Tangerang Islamic Boarding School. In the variables religiosity (X1) and commitment (X2) there is a positive and significant influence on the performance of educational staff (Y) at the Daar El-Qolam 1 Gintung Jayanti Tangerang Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Work Environment on Employee Performance with Work Discipline as a mediating variable at PT. Sinar Sosro Tanjung Morawa. The sample used was 137 respondents. This study uses the Sobel Test as an analysis technique that can justify the influence of independent variables on dependent variables both directly and indirectly through mediating variables. The results of this study indicate that the Work Environment variable partially has a significant effect on Work Discipline, the Work Environment partially has a significant effect on Employee Performance, Work Discipline partially has a significant effect on Employee Performance. The Work Environment also affects Employee Performance indirectly through increasing employee Work Discipline.

Abstract

Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) memiliki salah satu unit kerja yaitu Pusat Pelayanan Keluarga Sejahtera (PUSYANRA) yang memiliki beberapa jenis pelayanan, yaitu layanan informasi kependudukan, layanan konseling keluarga balita dan anak, layanan keluarga remaja dan remaja, layanan konseling pranikah, layanan konseling keluarga harmonis, layanan konseling kb dan kesehatan repoduksi, layanan konseling keluarga lansia dan lansia, serta pembinaan usaha ekonomi keluarga . Jenis layanan ini sangat erat dengan masyarakat, sehingga BKKBN melalui PUSYANRA membutuhkan inovasi strategi komunikasi kepada masyarakat. Untuk itu BKKB Provinsi Riau melalui PUSYANRA Lancang Kuning merilis Sistem Informasi Keluargaku. Namun dibutuhkan juga peningkatan kapasistas kader dalam pemanfaatan sistem yang sudah disiapkan. Untuk itu melalui pengabdian masyarakat ini, peningkatan kader dilakukan dalam bentuk diskusi terpumpun, seminar dan workshop. Metode yang dipilih disesuaikan permintaan dan kebutuhan BKKBN Provinsi Riau. Sehingga luaran dari pengabdian ini adalah 5 hal, meliputi: materi seminar, materi bahan workshop, kegiatan diskusi terpumpun, seminar dan workshop. Berdasarkarkan hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh setelah seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dilaksanakan diperoleh bahwa: teamwork pelaksana dan koordinasi bersama mitra sangat baik sehingga menginsiasi kerjasama antar dua institusi, peningkatan akses terhadap sistem informasi Keluargaku dan ide pengembangan keberlanjutan kerjasama.
