Abstract

Tradisi madeung atau bahasa lainnya “badapu” merupakan salah satu tradisi ibu nifas di Aceh yang berpotensi menimbulkan masalah kesehatan karena pantangan mengkonsumsi beberapa jenis bahan makanan kaya protein, sayur dan buah-buahan yang mengandung banyak air dengan keyakinan pantangan tersebut dapat mempercepat proses penyembuhan ibu nifas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana relasi pendidikan dan pekerjaan dengan penerapan tradisi madeung pada masyarakat adat keluarga Raja Ubit di Blang Tripa Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasional Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini 20 ibu nifas dengan total sampel yang di uji sebanyak 20 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Chi Square jenis fisher Exact Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada relasi antara pendidikan dan pekerjaan ibu dengan penerapan tradisi madeung (nilai p > 0,05). Tradisi madeung sudah diterapkan secar bergenerasi pada masyarakat adat keluarga Raja Ubiet, sehingga penerapan adat dilakukan secara kolektif, tidak memiliki hubungan dengan pekerjaan dan pendidikan responden. Perlu diperhatikan dan dikaji ulang tradisi   madeung pada sisi yang bertentangan dengan kesehatan ibu nifas karena dapat menyebakan infeksi penyakit dan akibat fatal lainnya bagi ibu nifas jika tradisi madeung tidak diterapkan dengan baik.

Abstract

Kelulusan cepat mahasiswa merupakan indikator penting keberhasilan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan metode K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) dalam memprediksi status kelulusan cepat mahasiswa. Pemanfaatan data mining membantu menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kelulusan cepat untuk pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Dataset yang digunakan meliputi variabel akademik (IPK) dan non-akademik (pelatihan pengembangan, prestasi, partisipasi forum kuliah, dan kegiatan organisasi)7. Tahapan penelitian mencakup pra-pemrosesan data, implementasi KNN dengan variasi nilai K, dan evaluasi menggunakan metrik akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model KNN mencapai akurasi sebesar 85%, dengan presisi 80%, recall 78%, dan F1-score 79%. Variabel pelatihan pengembangan dan prestasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil prediksi.

Abstract

Objective of the research aims to find out find out whether or not using YouTube video tutorial is effective in improve tenth grade students’ skill in writing procedure text at MAN 2 Kota Palu. Many students have problems achieving this skill for various reasons: limited understanding, lack of vocabulary, low creativity of the students. This research used a quantitative method and quasi-experimental as the research design. The data was collected by taking pre-test and post-test. This study used purposive sampling with the sample was XA as the control group and XB as the experimental group. Based on the result, the post test of experimental class was 75.72, it was lower than control group was 75.76. Therefore, Then, the result of statistical hypothesis testing by using Mann-whitney U showed that 0.857 > 0.05). It means that there was not a significant distinction between the groups. This research conclude that YouTube video tutorials was not effective in improving students’ skill in writing procedure text among tenth grade students at MAN 2 Kota Palu. The suggestions of the research are knowing students' learning style, providing clear guidance, and exploring potential alternatives media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of digital text on reading comprehension the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 20 Palu. This study used a quasi-experimental design, namely 32 students of class VIII A and 29 students of class VIII B, and were classified into experimental and control classes. The experimental class was taught using digital text while the control class was taught using printed text. In addition, this study was conducted through the following procedures: pre-test, treatment, and post-test. Data were collected through a reading test. There was a significant difference between students who were taught using digital text and those who were taught using printed text. This can be seen from the results of the post-test. The mean score in the experimental class is 81.77 and the mean score in the control class is 70.35. The data were analyzed using inferential statistics, including the independent sample t-test. From the results of the t-test, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained which was smaller than the standard significance value, meaning that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. Finally, it can be concluded that digital text is effective for reading comprehension.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effectiveness of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach to improve writing skill of the tenth grade students at MAN Insan Cendekia Kota Palu. The research employs pre- experimental research design. The population of this research is Grade X students at MAN Insan Cendekia Kota Palu, and the sample is Grade X Al-Qolam, consisting of 20 students. The researcher employs purposive sampling technique and takes one-group pre-test and post-test. The pre-test is administered to assess the student’s writing ability through the CTL Approach and to determine whether the class is equal or not in terms of their writing achievement before the treatment is given, and the post-test is used to administer students’ writing skill achievement after receiving the treatment. The result of the data analysis indicates that there is a significant difference in the students’ achievement in pre-test and post-test. It shows that the mean score of pre-test is ( 60.59) and the mean score of post-test is (76.33). The sig value (Asymp. 2-tailed) is 0.000, which is smaller than the p-value = 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, the contextual teaching and learning approach is effective in improving the writing skill of grade X students at MAN Insan Cendekia Kota Palu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah ikan bandeng menjadi produk nugget bernilai tambah. Inovasi olahan pangan lokal ini diharapkan tidak hanya memperkaya diversifikasi produk perikanan, tetapi juga mampu memberikan peluang usaha rumah tangga dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung pembuatan nugget oleh peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta motivasi masyarakat untuk mengembangkan usaha berbasis produk olahan ikan bandeng. Program ini menjadi salah satu bentuk inovasi pemberdayaan masyarakat yang mendukung ketahanan ekonomi keluarga sekaligus melestarikan potensi pangan lokal.

Abstract

Shark product traceability is a critical component in supporting sustainable shark fisheries management, particularly to prevent unreported, underreported, or misreported fishing practices. This study analyzes shark landing recording practices at the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port (PPS Nizam Zachman), Jakarta, one of Indonesia’s main fisheries landing ports. The research was conducted through two weeks of field observations and in-depth interviews with data enumerators, port officers, and fisheries stakeholders. The results indicate that shark landing records still rely on general fish landing standard operating procedures and lack specific guidelines for sharks, particularly for species-level identification and recording of physical condition. Sharks were frequently landed as juveniles, in non-intact conditions, and mixed with other fish species, complicating identification and increasing the risk of data inaccuracy. These conditions may undermine shark product traceability systems and sustainable shark resource management. This study recommends the development of shark-specific landing recording SOPs, capacity building for enumerators through species identification training, and the provision of visual documentation tools to improve data accuracy at landing sites. Abstract

Academic stress significantly impacts students' psychological well-being and academic performance. This study focuses on predicting students' stress levels using a data-driven machine learning framework. The dataset was obtained from a questionnaire comprising 25 indicators encompassing emotional, psychological, academic, and environmental aspects of students. The research procedure involved data preprocessing, checking for missing values and redundancy, normalization, descriptive statistical analysis, model development, and performance evaluation using metrics such as recall, precision, sensitivity, specificity, F-measure, and accuracy. The implemented algorithm achieved excellent results, with an overall accuracy of 0.98. The model demonstrated high effectiveness in classifying Eustress and Distress, while its performance in detecting the No Stress category was limited, although precision and specificity indicate a strong capacity to differentiate between classes. These findings confirm that a machine learning approach can effectively capture patterns of student stress based on questionnaire responses and offers valuable guidance for developing early warning systems and targeted psychological intervention strategies. The study highlights the potential of data-driven predictive methods in supporting students' mental health through empirical data analysis.
