Abstract

This study examines the mental health of university students from an Islamic perspective, focusing on how students cope with academic tasks, demands, and social pressures through the strength of faith. The main issue addressed is the high level of stress and mental disorders among students caused by academic burdens, social expectations, and a lack of understanding and support regarding mental health. The study aims to identify factors influencing students' mental health and analyze the role of Islamic values as a spiritual solution to these pressures. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, collecting data via online questionnaires distributed to students at Universitas Borneo Tarakan, supported by a literature review. The analysis revealed that academic pressure, social expectations, and limited openness are primary triggers of mental health problems. However, students who practice Islamic principles such as worship, remembrance of God (dhikr), and patience, and who strengthen their spiritual relationship with Allah SWT, tend to have greater mental resilience. The study concludes that an Islamic spiritual approach plays a significant role in helping students manage stress and pressure, thereby enhancing their mental well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami peranan majalah dinding didalam lomba penulisan kreatif di SMK N 1 Tegal, memahami kriteria yang dikuasai siswa dalam menulis cerpen dalam lomba penulisan kreatif, dan menguraikan majalah dinding sebagai pengembangan tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen yang mengikuti lomba penulisan kreatif di SMK N 1 Tegal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam lomba. penulisan kreatif di SMK N 1 Tegal. Metode Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumen. Temuan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) fungsi majalah dinding di SMK N 1 Tegal adalah menyampaikan informasi kepada warga sekolah, menjadi wadah eskpresi dan kreativitas, pelatihan keterampilan sosial dan organisasi,meningkatkan minat baca dan literasi, menjadi media hiburan, menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab dan kerja sama. (2) Kriteria yang perlu dimengerti oleh pelajar agar bisa menulis sebuah cerpen adalah aspek organisasi penyajian cerpen yang terdiri dari: memuat judul, penataan paragraf, kelengkapan struktur cerpen, dan kerapihan tulisan. Isi cerpen terdiri dari : masalah utama cerpen jelas, kepaduan alur cerita dan memiliki amanat/pesan moral, dan kaidah kebahasaan cerpen terdiri dari: penggunaan kalimat langsung dan tidak langsung, penggunaan majas (gaya bahasa),penggunaan ejaan dan penggunaan tanda baca. Berdasarkan evaluasi terhadap cerita pendek dan standar yang ada, kita dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti lomba penulisan kreatif sudah mengerti dengan jelas tentang kriteria penulisan cerita pendek. (3) Mading berfungsi sebagai pengembangan keterampilan menulis siswa yang terlibat lomba penulisan kreatif di SMKN N 1 Tegal dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan motivasi siswa, kepuasan pribadi, menjadi wadah untuk menyalurkan kreativitas, mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa, bersaing secara intelektual dan kreatif, dan mengenal kriteria dalam menulis cerpen.Kata Kunci : Majalah dinding, Keterampilan menulis, dan Cerpen. Abstract This research seeks to identifity the role of wall magazines in creative writing competitions at SMK N 1 Tegal, to determine the criteria understood by students to write short stories in creative writing competitions, and to explain wall magazines as a development of short story writing skills of students who participate in creative writing competitions at SMK N 1 Tegal. The study uses qualitative descriptive approach. The study’s subject included students who participated in creative writing competitions at SMK N 1 Tegal. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The fidings of this study reveal that(1) the function of wall magazines at SMK N 1 Tegal is to convey information to school residents, to be a forum for expression and creativity, social and organizational skills training, to increase interest in reading and literacy, to be a medium of entertainment, to foster a sense of responsibility and cooperation. (2) The criteria that must be understood by students to be able to compose a short story are the aspects of the organization of the presentation of the short story consisting of: containing a title, paragraph arrangement, completeness about the short story structure, and neatness of writing, the contents of the short story consisting of: the main problem of the short story is clear, the storyline is cohesive and has a moral message, and the language rules of the short story consist of: use of direct and indirect sentences, use of figures of speech (style of language), use of spelling and use of punctuation. According to the findings of the short story assessment and these criteria, it can be concluded that students who participated in the creative writing competition already understand the criteria for writing short stories well. (3) The wall magazine as a development of the writing skills of students who participated in the creative writing competition at SMKN N 1 Tegal can be proven by the increase in student motivation, personal satisfaction, becoming a place to channel creativity, developing language skills, competing intellectually and creatively, and knowing the criteria in the procces of creating short stories. Abstract

Peneltian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. kurangnya percaya diri dan cenderung pasif di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Fun Day School dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, serta untuk menggambarkan adanya perubahan positif dalam pemahaman dan partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam kelas VIII di MTs Atsarus Salafiyah Orodalam Sejati Camplong Sampang. Ada dua permasalahan yang menjadi pokok dalam penelitian ini. 1). Bagaimanakah efektivitas penerapan metode fun day school dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam Kelas VIII Di MTs Atsarus Salafiyah Orodalam Sejati Camplong Sampang Tahun Pelajaran 2024-2025? 2). Apa sajakah faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam efektivitas penerapan metode fun day school dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam Kelas VIII Di MTs Atsarus Salafiyah Orodalam Sejati Camplong Sampang Tahun Pelajaran 2024-2025? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berupa deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam dan juga siswa. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data dan memverifikasi data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Fun Day School cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dari meningkatnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, lebih antusias dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Dan meningkatnya pemahaman terhadap materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam. Adapun faktor pendukung keberhasilan metode ini antara lain kreativitas guru dan kesiapan media pembelajaran, keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta dukungan dan motivasi dari orang tua maupun lembaga pendidikan. sementara faktor penghambatnya meliputi adanya perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran, sehingga tidak semua siswa mampu mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik dan dengan cara yang sama. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi guru dalam memilih dan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat agar prestasi belajar siswa semakin meningkat.

Abstract

The skin is the largest organ and plays an important role as a protector of the body. In geriatric populations, physiological changes in the skin due to aging increase susceptibility to various skin diseases. Local data on the characteristics of geriatric patients with skin diseases are still limited, especially in Makassar. This study aims to provide an overview of the characteristics of geriatric patients with skin diseases at Ibnu Sina Makassar Hospital. The research design was a cross-sectional descriptive study with a total sampling of 54 geriatric patients (≥60 years) who were treated at the Skin and Venerean Outpatient Polyclinic of RSP Ibnu Sina Makassar for the 2022–2024 period. Data was obtained through medical records, then analyzed descriptively using SPSS and Excel.   Most patients were aged 60–74 years (74.1%), male (51.9%), and civil servant/retired (57.4%). As many as 74.1% of patients did not have comorbidities; Diabetes mellitus was the most comorbid (13%). Non-infectious skin diseases dominated (50%), followed by fungal infections (25.9%), bacterial (16.7%), and viral (7.4%). The most common diagnoses were senilic pruritus (20.4%), followed by tinea corporis (13%), as well as seborrheic dermatitis, lichen simplex, and shingles at 7.4% each. Geriatric patients with skin diseases at the Ibnu Sina Makassar Hospital Outpatient Polyclinic for the 2022–2024 period are dominated by 60–74 years old, male, and most of the jobs are civil servants/retirees. Non-infectious skin diseases, especially pruritus senilis, are the most common diagnoses. Education about elderly skin care and preventive approaches are needed to improve the quality of life of geriatric patients.

Abstract

The lompong flower is an ornamental plant that requires stable soil moisture conditions and a stable environment so that it can grow optimally. Moisture level mismatches often hinder growth and even have the potential to cause plant damage. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based humidity monitoring system that is able to monitor the humidity condition of the pond flower in real-time. The system developed uses soil moisture sensors as input devices, microcontrollers as data processors, and internet networks as a medium for sending data to the monitoring platform. The data obtained is displayed directly so that users can know the actual humidity conditions and take appropriate maintenance actions. The results show that the system is able to display moisture data with a good level of accuracy, as well as provide relevant information for users in plant care decision-making. The implementation of this system has proven to be effective in supporting the maintenance of lompong flowers, especially in maintaining soil moisture stability. This research is expected to be a reference for the development of IoT-based ornamental plant monitoring technology, as well as contribute to improving the quality of plant care in a more efficient and measurable manner.

Abstract

The growth of the library will not be separated from the progress of science and information technology. In this case the library is closely related to information technology and science. Each helping the other. Libraries have a great responsibility to improve the reading habits of their users. Therefore, this digital library has a very positive influence on users' reading motivation. A digital library is a library that uses a collection of books that are in digital format and can be accessed via computers and smartphones. The digital library has implemented a repository. Repository is a container for storing various documents or information. The use of a repository greatly facilitates digital library users in finding the information they need. In this study, the method used to search for content information uses (information retrieval), in processing the search using the N-Gram Algorithm and Cosine Similarity to measure the similarity between the documents sought. Using the above method can speed up the process of searching for content in digital libraries and to find the relevance between search results and keywords.

Abstract

Information retrieval system is a study in obtaining information in a document. One of the methods applied to the information retrieval system is the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) procedure. This study aims to determine the application of the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) method to the information retrieval system. The research procedure used is a library research procedure with a qualitative approach. Meaning that researchers get data by analyzing, organizing, sources derived from articles, books, reports, and other sources. The results show that the development of information systems brings changes to all aspects of human life, including libraries. Libraries are starting to become increasingly sophisticated. implemented in their services, the library service has started using OPAC as a form of applying the OPAC method to the information retrieval system, the systematic literature review method was applied in this study to analyze and identify previous studies related to this topic.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan kepadatan penduduk yang sangat banyak nomer 4 di dunia. Kepadatan penduduk Indonesia mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan setiap tahunnya, bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia, sensus penduduk tahun 2021 kepadatan penduduk Indonesia mencapai 273 juta jiwa (Badan Pusat Statistik 2020). Kepadatan penduduk memiliki banyak konsekuensi dalam banyak hal, antara lain: kepadatan permukiman, kerawanan sosial, penyediaan air bersih yang semakin sulit, kemacetan dan pekerjaan yang semakin sulit. Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah belum sepenuhnya mengatasi masalah kepadatan penduduk di Indonesia. Makan dengan permasalahan yang ada membutuhkan sebuah rumus, dengan Data Science dengan mengacu pada metode peramalan yang akan digunakan untuk peramalan jangka panjang, jangka menengah, dan jangka pendek diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan kepadatan penduduk, peneliti melakukan penelitian di kota Tegal dalam peramalan tingkat penduduk. Dan untuk mengetahui kepadatan penduduk kota Tegal pada tahun yang akan datang maka perlu dilakukan suatu sistem peramalan tingkat kepadatan penduduk untuk memprediksi kepadatan penduduk pada 10 tahun mendatang dari data 10 tahun sebelumnya, sehingga diperoleh hasil dari peramal tahun sebelumnya akan menentukan peramalan data kepadatan penduduk pada tahun sebelumnya. yang akan datang. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan meliputi: pengumpulan data, peramalan data, analisis hasil dan kesimpulan. Hasil peramalan diambil dari nilai kesalahan Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) terkecil dari hasil peramalan Kepadatan Penduduk Kota Tegal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of pedagogical and professional competencies of prospective teachers in supporting innovative learning at SMK TV Watampone. Pedagogical and professional competencies are important aspects that must be possessed by prospective teachers in order to create effective, creative, and appropriate learning processes according to the needs of vocational high school students. This study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that prospective teachers were able to implement pedagogical competencies through lesson planning, the use of innovative learning methods and media, and interactive classroom management. In addition, professional competence was demonstrated through mastery of learning materials, the utilization of technology in the teaching and learning process, and the ability to adapt learning to the characteristics of vocational school students. The implementation of these two competencies had a positive impact on increasing students’ learning motivation, participation, and the quality of classroom learning. Therefore, pedagogical and professional competencies of prospective teachers play an important role in supporting innovative learning in vocational high schools.
