Abstract

This article analyzes sectarianism in the interpretation of Qur’anic verses concerning the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims by comparing classical and modern exegesis from Sunni and Shia traditions. The study focuses on four thematic groups of verses: religious freedom, interfaith dialogue, political allegiance, and interfaith marriage. Employing Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutic framework, it explores how the historical and ideological horizons of the exegetes influence their interpretive outcomes. The findings reveal that classical commentaries, such as those of Ibn Kathir and al-Tha‘barsi, tend to be apologetic and normative, while modern exegeses by Wahbah al-Zuhaili and Muhammad Husain al-Thabathabai exhibit a more humanistic and contextual orientation. Despite their sectarian and methodological differences, both traditions share a common ethical aim—to maintain a balance between faith and humanity. This study underscores the significance of inter-sectarian exegetical dialogue as a means to foster an inclusive and universal understanding of Islam.

Abstract

Dominasi hukuman penjara dalam sistem peradilan pidana Indonesia telah menyebabkan sejumlah masalah struktural, termasuk overcrowding di penjara, biaya hukuman yang berlebihan, dan rehabilitasi serta reintegrasi sosial narapidana yang tidak efektif. Layanan masyarakat merupakan salah satu alternatif hukuman yang lebih berbelas kasih dan sadar sosial yang dikembangkan sebagai respons terhadap kondisi tersebut. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi posisi hukuman kerja sosial dalam kerangka reformasi kebijakan peradilan pidana nasional dan untuk melihat arah kebijakan hukuman berbasis kerja sosial dalam sistem peradilan pidana Indonesia. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian hukum normatif yang menggabungkan pendekatan konseptual, kebijakan peradilan pidana, dan legislatif. Tinjauan pustaka terhadap dokumen hukum tingkat dasar, menengah, dan tinggi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, yang kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif deskriptif. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa layanan masyarakat seharusnya dianggap sebagai komponen penting dalam pedoman hukuman nasional, bukan sekadar pengganti praktis untuk penjara. Pergeseran paradigma dalam penetapan hukuman menuju pendekatan yang lebih restoratif, rehabilitatif, dan korektif dikonfirmasi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana, yang mengatur layanan masyarakat. Hukuman kerja sosial berpotensi berkembang menjadi alat hukuman yang adil, penuh belas kasihan, dan berfokus pada pemulihan sosial dengan orientasi kebijakan yang jelas dan sistematis.

Abstract

Traffic accidents involving children as perpetrators require special handling that prioritizes child protection and the principles of restorative justice. This study aims to analyze the handling of traffic accident cases involving children as perpetrators and to examine the implementation of diversion, discretion, and restorative justice within the juvenile criminal justice system as an effort to provide legal protection. The research employs a normative juridical method with a descriptive approach through the analysis of legal literature. The findings indicate that the application of diversion and discretion based on restorative justice constitutes an important instrument in the juvenile criminal justice system to ensure legal protection and achieve substantive justice without disregarding the child’s criminal responsibility. Diversion is carried out through deliberation or mediation mechanisms as a form of case resolution outside the formal criminal justice process, oriented toward restoring the original condition in a humane and non-formal manner.

Abstract

This study examines strategies to enhance political participation among young voters by integrating social media and civic education. This is done in response to the lack of political understanding and high levels of disinformation experienced by the younger generation. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines 184 documents from various scientific sources published between 2019 and 2024 to identify effective strategies for encouraging political participation among young voters. The findings indicate that social media plays a significant role in disseminating political information quickly and engagingly. At the same time, civics education serves to shape character and foster critical and responsible political awareness. The collaboration between social media, civics education, and contributions from families, schools, and youth organizations is considered effective in increasing active, rational, and sustainable political participation. This study proposes enhancing digital political understanding, developing innovative political campaigns, and systematically engaging various parties to cultivate a generation of intelligent and integrity-driven young voters for the future of Indonesian democracy.

Abstract

Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2023 tentang Aparatur Sipil Negara merupakan profesi bagi Pegawai Negeri Sipil dan Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja yang bekerja pada instansi pemerintah dalam rangka menjalankan fungsi pelayanan publik, pemerintahan, dan pembangunan. Perkembangan era digitalisasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam tata kelola pelayanan publik, termasuk pelayanan hukum di lingkungan Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Banjarbaru. Transformasi digital tersebut menuntut tidak hanya peningkatan efisiensi dan kecepatan layanan, tetapi juga penguatan standar etika hukum sebagai landasan profesionalitas ASN. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi etika hukum ASN dalam prosedur pelayanan hukum berbasis digital di Sekretariat DPRD Kota Banjarbaru serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang penerapannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif- empiris dengan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan, konseptual, dan sosiologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan standar etika hukum dalam prosedur digital mampu meningkatkan efektivitas, akuntabilitas, dan kualitas substansi hukum, namun masih dihadapkan pada keterbatasan literasi hukum digital dan ketiadaan kode etik digital khusus. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pembentukan kode etik digital ASN, pelatihan berkelanjutan literasi hukum digital, serta pengembangan platform interoperable yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip etika hukum. Dengan demikian, etika hukum berfungsi sebagai fondasi operasional transformasi digital pelayanan hukum di pemerintah daerah

Abstract

Digital transformation in education poses significant challenges to learning processes, as rapidly advancing technologies reshape how teaching and learning take place. This study explores the relevance of Islamic educational philosophy in responding to modern educational challenges in the digital era, focusing on integrating technology into educational systems without compromising the moral and spiritual values embedded in Islamic teachings. Drawing on the epistemological and ontological foundations of Islamic education, the study argues that education aims not only to develop intellectual intelligence but also to cultivate character and virtuous conduct. The ideas of scholars such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Khaldun, and Al-Farabi highlight the importance of synergy between knowledge and morality, which remains highly relevant to contemporary technology-influenced education. The findings suggest that technology, including artificial intelligence (AI), can be optimized to enrich learning experiences; however, it should be integrated within holistic Islamic educational principles that emphasize balance between intellectual and spiritual dimensions. The study recommends curriculum development that aligns digital content with religious values and promotes student character formation that is adaptive to changing times. Through a wise and contextual approach, Islamic education can adapt to digital developments without neglecting its moral and spiritual essence

Abstract

Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan merupakan faktor kunci dalam upaya peningkatan mutu sekolah. Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia yang efektif berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan serta kualitas layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui studi literatur dan pengumpulan data lapangan berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kebutuhan Sumber Daya Manusia yang tepat, pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan, penilaian kinerja yang objektif, serta pemberian motivasi dan penghargaan secara proporsional mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru dan efektivitas pembelajaran. Selain itu, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang visioner dan partisipatif berperan signifikan dalam mendukung keberhasilan manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan yang terencana, sistematis, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan profesional merupakan strategi strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu sekolah secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi pengelola sekolah dan pengambil kebijakan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of family education contained in Surah Luqman verses 12–19 and to examine its relevance to contemporary educational and psychological theories. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method through thematic analysis of the Qur’anic text, classical and contemporary exegetical works, and academic literature related to family education and moral development. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis to identify the pedagogical structure within Luqman’s counsel to his son. The findings reveal that Surah Luqman verses 12–19 contain a systematic and holistic pedagogical framework for family education that can be mapped into five main pillars a spiritual theological foundation through the inculcation of the values of tawḥid and gratitude, relational education emphasizing respect for parents and proportional obedience, the development of moral awareness and personal responsibility, the habituation of religious practices and the strengthening of emotional regulation through prayer, amr maʿrūf nahy munkar, and patience ṣabr, and the cultivation of social ethics, courtesy, and behavioral moderation. These findings indicate that Luqman’s pedagogy aligns with several contemporary educational theories, including positive psychology, attachment theory, moral development theory, self regulation theory, and social learning theory. Therefore, the educational values embedded in Surah Luqman verses 12–19 demonstrate strong relevance in addressing the challenges of contemporary family education and contribute to the development of an integrative and holistic model of character education.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces challenges in improving students' understanding and spiritual intelligence, especially in the modern era full of distractions. The Neuroeducation approach, based on cognitive neuroscience, offers a more effective learning method by considering how the brain processes information. This strategy integrates multisensory stimulation, emotional engagement, and direct experience to create more meaningful and sustainable learning. This research employs a qualitative case study method, where data is collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to the implementation of the Neuroeducation strategy in PAI. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, with validity strengthened through data triangulation from various sources. The results indicate that the Neuroeducation-based strategy significantly enhances students' understanding of PAI concepts and fosters the development of their spiritual intelligence. Experience-based learning methods, storytelling, and self-reflection proved to be more effective than conventional lecture methods. However, challenges such as teachers' limited understanding and technological infrastructure constraints remain. Therefore, teacher training and the integration of neuroscience-based approaches into the PAI curriculum are necessary to optimize this method’s implementation. With the right approach, Neuroeducation can be an innovative solution to developing a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, well-characterized, and have a deep understanding of religion.
