Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describethe type and functions of figure of speech contained in the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surgaworks Tere Liye. Based on the descriptive analysis found figure of speech hyperbole, metonymy, personification, metaphor/simile, metaphor, sinekdoke, euphemism, epipet, epanalipsis, antanaliksis, mesodiplosis, epizueksis, anaphora, sarcasm, cynicism, paradox and antithesis. The function is a figure of speech concrete, compare, smoothing, confirm, beautifying and insinuate/criticize.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) describe the forms of injustice gender in the novel Namaku Mata Hari by Remy Sylado, (2) describe the factors that cause gender inequality in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado. The data in this study is a sentence, paragraph or section that contains a novel about gender inequality in the work of the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado, sources of data in this study is novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado works published by Scholastic Press PT. Techniques of data collection is done by stages; read carefully the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado, identifying each part of the novel that support injustice gender form, classifying data, conduct library research, inventory data using the format of the data inventory. The findings of the study first is the forms of injustice gender in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado are: (1) the marginalization of women, (2) the subordination of women, (3) stereotypes of women, (4) violence against women, (5) double burden against women, and (6) discrimination against women. Second, the factors that cause gender inequality in the novel NamakuMata Hari by Remy Sylado are (1) factor of public confidence in the myth, (2) factors of rationality, (3) factors patriarchy and (4) factor of the capitalist system.

Abstract

The study aims to describe and analyze the expression of the ban, meaning rationalization, and social functioning ban public expression in Kanagarian Inderapura Kecamatan Pancung Soal Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The data source of this research is oral sources. Oral sources, which ban the phrase spoken by people in communication obtained through interviews. Data collection using interviews, records, and record. Recording method used to record all information submitted informant. The method used to record record important information obtained from informants. Based on the study concluded the following. First, in the expression of 79 found expression prohibition Prohibition. Abstract

The  purposes of this study were to (1) describe, able to apreciation short story class XI Senior hight school 16 Padang, (2) describe, capable to write short story class XI Senior hight school 16 Padang, (3) the analities contribute able to apresiation short story to capable write short story class XI Senior hight school 16 Padang. The data this studi of were two kind test, is objective and write test. Objective test use for colleted able data student in the appreciation short story.The principle research conclude three case. First, capable appreciation short story student class XI senior hight school 16 Padang qualification at qualification moreb than enough (72,77). Second capable write short story  student class XI senior hight school 16 Padang at qualification well (78,89).Third,able appreciation short story contribute to capable write short story student class XI senior hight school 16 Padang as big as 25%, and more influence by factor other not research in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the form of inner conflict of main character in the novel Moga Bunda Disayang Allah by Tere Liye from the psychology of literature based on ego defense mechanism proposed by Ferdinand Zaviera, and (2) to describe the cause of inner conflict of main character in the novel Moga Bunda Disayang Allah by Tere Liye examined from the psychology literature. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the structure, function, and educational values ​​contained in the poem managua on wedding ceremony in New Koto Pasaman District of North Rao. The data of this study is the structure, functions, and values ​​education in managua rhyme. Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the moral conscience, (2) describe the moral values ​​of freedom and responsibility, (3) describe the value of moral rights and obligations, (4) describe the moral value ​​and norm. The data of this study are sentences that describe moral values​​. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the shape, meaning, structure, function, category, and value education of an expression of folk handicratft in Kenagarian Padang Laweh Kecamatan Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The data of this study is the prohibition expression Minangkabau in Kenagarian Padang Laweh. Source of research data is the primary source of oral sources as spoken by the informant as the original speakers. Data was collected using the methods and techniques refer to the record and advanced engineering techniques as noted. The findings of the study include 8 things: (1) transcription in Kenagarian Padang Laweh prohibition expression into Indonesian, (2) the shape of prohibilition expression, (3) meaning of prohibilition expression, (4) structure of prohibilition expression, (5) function of prohibilition expression, (6) category of prohibilition expression, (7) value education of prohibilition expression.

Abstract

The purpose of this study the social problem, the causes of social problems, and other forms of self-acceptance to the problems faced by characters in the novel RembulanTenggelam di Wajahmu byTereLiye. The data of this study are the sentences, either in the form of dialogue, monologue, or narrative-related social problems contained in the novel RembulanTenggelam di Wajahmu by TereLiye. Sources of data in this study is novel Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu by TereLiye. The study's findings are: First, the social problems include crime of violence in the form of violence against children, crimes against women, family disorganization, delinkuensi children, gambling, alcoholism, prostitution, and fights. Second, the causes of social issues: family disorganization, lack of public awareness, and adolescent delinquency. Third, self-acceptance prominent social issues in accordance with the problem at hand.
