Abstract

This research aims to describe the value of local wisdom "malaqbi" in shaping the characteristics and uncovering the factors underlying the existence of the Mandar ethnic group. The study employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach (phenomenology, sociocultural, and critical literacy). The research locations are in Napo Village, Limboro District, Polewali Mandar Regency, and Adolang Village, Pamboang District, Majene Regency. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), and documentary studies.The findings indicate the value of local wisdom "malaqbi" in shaping the character of the Mandar Ethnicity, namely: (1) The malaqbi value is used as the basic concept of self-awareness in interpreting the philosophy of Mandar Ethnic life; (2) The malaqbi value is used as the foundation of discourse;    (3) The local wisdom value of malaqbi is used as the foundation of attitude; and (4) The malaqbi value is used as the foundation of social behavior. The factors underlying the existence of the local wisdom value of malaqbi in the Mandar Ethnicity are: (1) Awareness of mutual respect and respect for fellow human beings; (2) Awareness of clarifying identity as Mandar people; (3) Awareness of historical events; and (4) Awareness of "siri'" as the consequence of behavior that is not in accordance with malaqbi.The implication of this research is that the value of malaqbi, which is very wise and full of teachings about life, especially social life, should always be applied by the Mandar Ethnic community in all fields. The malaqbi value has existed before Islamic teachings spread to the Mandar region. Understanding of the malaqbi value even applies to several designations for the Mandar Ethnic community, such as "to I Mandar" (original Mandar people), "to Mandar" (people who come and reside in Mandar), and "pammandar" (people who come to Mandar for specific purposes but do not reside there or only temporarily).

Abstract

Children are God's creation that we need to work together to protect because of their limitations. One of the forms of protection provided is legal protection for children who experience some form of violence and bullying. The forms of violence that children often receive will have a negative impact on the child's future. The essence of this article aims to find out how necessary it is to provide legal protection for children as victims of violence and bullying and legal protection for children as victims of violence and bullying according to statutory regulations. Legal protection for children is provided so that children's rights remain protected as stated in the laws and regulations governing child protection, namely that they do not suffer any form of violence as stated in Articles 76A to 76B of Law Number 35 of 2014 as well as legal protection. given for justice for children. In this way, the state provides legal protection to all children which has been regulated to be implemented in Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims and Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi guru dalam meningkatkan fokus belajar siswa dengan model RAKAT, yang mengombinasikan Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Picture and Picture (P&P), serta Jigsaw. Fokus belajar merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran, di mana siswa yang memiliki tingkat konsentrasi tinggi dapat memahami materi dengan lebih baik, namun kurangnya konsentrasi dapat menghambat pemahaman dan pencapaian akademik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, wawancara, observasi, dan pencatatan. Instrumen penelitian mencakup pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan untuk memastikan validitas hasil penelitian. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru kelas 4, siswa kelas 4, dan kepala sekolah di SDN Telawang 4. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model RAKAT efektif dalam meningkatkan fokus belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn. Model ini menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif, menarik, serta mendorong kolaborasi siswa. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Penilaian menjadi komponen esensial dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu guru harus menggunakan soal yang berkualitas. Untuk mengetahui apakah berkualitas tidaknya soal, harus dilakukan analisis terhadap soal tersebut. Namun faktanya guru jarang melakukannya termasuk guru di SMP Negeri 21 Banjarmasin. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada guru tentang analisis butir soal dengan aplikasi Anbuso. Metode yang digunakan adalah: penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan difusi ipteks. Dari hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahauan dan keterampilan peserta tentang instrumen penilaian. Data awal memperlihatkan masih banyak peserta berada pada kategori kurang dan sangat kurang, namun setelah pelatihan terjadi perubahan signifikan dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta pada kategori sangat baik hingga mencapai 83%, tidak terdapat lagi peserta berkategori sangat kurang. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai, maka perlunya kegiatan serupa dilaksanakan di sekolah lain, agar semakin banyak guru yang terampil dalam menganalisis instrumen penilaian

Abstract

Background: The customary and Islamic traditions that color Banjar diamond craft activities contain noble and important values in character formation in Islamic education. Objective: This research aims to examine Banjar diamond crafts, both in the activities of diamond panning and polishing, by exploring local and Islamic customs and the character values contained there in and analyzing them from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. Method: This research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and triangulation with Banjar diamond miners and polishers. Result: The research results show that there is three dimensions of harmonization of custom and Islam in Banjar diamond crafts, namely the dimensions of religious practice, work ethics, and local wisdom. The three dimensions of harmonization of custom and Islam are relevant to character education as follows. First, religious practice forms the character of piety, obedience to worship, spiritual awareness that efforts must be intended as worship, responsibility, sincerity and gratitude as important elements in the dimension of religious character. Second, work ethics forms the character of hard work, resilience, honesty, and responsibility, as well as diligence, perseverance, tenacity and patience as the development of persistent and integrity character. Third, local wisdom forms the character of respect for tradition, cooperation, tolerance, civilization, and a strong cultural identity. Conclusion: The overall practice of harmonization of custom and Islam in diamond crafts from the perspective of Islamic Educational Philosophy, both perennially and essentially, strongly shapes the character of Banjar society. Harmonization between custom and Islam in Banjar diamond crafts is a manifestation of local wisdom as well as a primary source in character education. Thus, this study enriches the literature on character education, cultural education, and also the philosophy of Islamic education.

Abstract

Pekerja shift di industri manufaktur merupakan kelompok yang rentan mengalami gangguan kesehatan akibat pola kerja tidak teratur, terutama gangguan tidur dan peningkatan risiko hipertensi. Paparan kerja malam, kurang tidur, serta stres kerja yang berkepanjangan sering kali dianggap sebagai kondisi yang wajar oleh pekerja, sehingga upaya pencegahan dini belum menjadi perhatian utama. Kondisi ini berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan kardiovaskular dan produktivitas kerja. Sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif, diperlukan edukasi kesehatan kerja yang diberikan secara sistematis kepada pekerja shift. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran pekerja mengenai pentingnya pengaturan jadwal tidur dan manajemen tekanan darah melalui pendekatan face to face (tatap muka) dengan metode ceramah pada pekerja shift di industri manufaktur PT X. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan pekerja pada seluruh indikator pertanyaan. Peningkatan pengetahuan terendah ditemukan pada item “Shift kerja dapat meningkatkan risiko hipertensi”, yang sejak awal telah dipahami dengan baik oleh seluruh peserta. Sebaliknya, peningkatan tertinggi terjadi pada pemahaman mengenai kebiasaan makan berat setelah bekerja shift malam, dengan peningkatan sebesar 68%, dari 18% sebelum edukasi menjadi 86% setelah intervensi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan edukasi memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pekerja shift, terutama pada aspek-aspek praktis yang sebelumnya masih kurang dipahami. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan edukasi kesehatan kerja direkomendasikan untuk dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan dukungan pihak industri dan civitas akademika sebagai upaya pencegahan dini hipertensi dan peningkatan kualitas kesehatan pekerja shift.

Abstract

Accurate disease coding is a critical component of the health information system, as it directly affects data quality, morbidity reporting, healthcare financing claims, and managerial decision-making in healthcare facilities. At the Barambai Subdistrict Primary Health Center, inaccuracies in diagnosis coding based on ICD-10 guidelines are still identified. These issues are mainly caused by limited understanding among healthcare personnel, high workload, and the lack of continuous and structured coding training. Such conditions may negatively impact the quality of health data and the accuracy of healthcare service reporting. This program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare personnel in performing accurate and consistent disease coding in accordance with ICD-10 guidelines through theory-based education and case study–based training. The program is expected to strengthen the competencies of staff in the Health Information Management Division in applying diagnosis codes accurately, systematically, and in compliance with established standards, thereby supporting improvements in the quality of medical records and health information systems at the primary healthcare level. In addition, this activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being, by strengthening the health system. It also supports the role of higher education institutions in community service activities, especially in improving the quality of human resources in the field of health information management.

Abstract

Integrating Islamic values into media learning is a strategic way to help students understand media critically, ethically, and meaningfully. Learning media not only serves as a means of conveying information but also contains messages and values that influence students' attitudes and behavior. This study aims to analyze how the integration of Islamic values can help students understand the object of media study. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews with teachers, lecturers, and students, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results revealed that the integration of Islamic values through the role of teachers in planning, implementing, modeling, and using learning media can improve understanding of the material. Students become more selective, reflective, and responsible in dealing with media, and show increased learning motivation, spiritual awareness, and character development. Thus, integrating Islamic values into media learning helps improve academic understanding while simultaneously shaping students' religious attitudes in a balanced manner in today's digital era.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan sebuah perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Jenis bahan ajar yang di gunakan untuk menarik minat siswa berupa media pembelajaran interaktif yang disesuaikan lagi dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa Hybrid Learning Material yang dipegang oleh guru dan siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di Mis Al Jihad dan di uji coba kepada siswa kelas II dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti model ADDIE dengan lima tahap yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Hasil angket dari ahli materi, desain dan uji coba lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif ini sangat sesuai dengan skor persentase mencapai 87,32%, menurut ahli materi 94,80 %, menurut ahli desain 96,50 %, penilaian guru sebesar 75,00 %, hasil uji lapangan 83,00 %, Hasil Uji T 0,00 bahwa bahan ajar sangat signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan Analisis N-gain sebesar 0,72 dengan kriteria tinggi. Kesimpulan pengembangan bahan ajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Introduction Emesis gravidarum is a common complaint of nausea and vomiting in the first trimester of pregnancy, experienced by approximately 50–80% of pregnant women worldwide. In Indonesia, and in West Sulawesi, the incidence of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women is estimated at around 55%. Although often considered a physiological condition, untreated emesis gravidarum can develop into hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, nutritional disorders, and disrupts the mother's quality of life. The aim is to provide an overview and evaluate the results of midwifery care for first-trimester pregnant women with emesis gravidarum using a comprehensive approach, then documented in the form of Varney's 7 steps. Methods Obstetric management approach technique and documentation of 7 steps of Varney were used to document the data collection procedures which included observation, interview, inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation as well as the use of case reports. Results This study was conducted on two pregnant women in the first trimester with emesis gravidarum, namely Mrs. "R" in the working area of ​​Mapilli Health Center. Both mothers received midwifery care in accordance with service standards, including education about the condition of emesis gravidarum, showing a decrease in the frequency of nausea and vomiting, increased appetite, fulfillment of fluid needs, and improvement in maternal well-being after being given education on eating patterns of small portions but often, fulfilling fluids, adequate rest, and psychological support. Conclusion Midwifery care provided to pregnant women with emesis gravidarum problems showed a decrease in the frequency of nausea and vomiting, increased appetite, fulfillment of fluid needs, and improvement in maternal well-being after being given education on eating patterns of small portions but often, fulfilling fluids, adequate rest, and psychological support.
