Abstract

Agarwood is a resin from agarwood-producing plants that are given certain stimulants, thus stimulating the tree's defense system. The defense system produced is in the form of a sweet-smelling phytoalexin compound, better known as agarwood. Stimulants that can stimulate the formation of Gaharu are biological inoculants and chemical inducers. In this research, the biological inoculant used the Fusarium oxysporum fungus, and the chemical inducer used salicylic acid. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using a combination of Fusarium oxysporum and salicylic acid in producing agarwood resin. The combination treatment of Fusarium oxysporum and salicylic acid was carried out using the injection method on Aquilaria malaccensis tree branches, and induction was carried out for 3 months. This research shows that the TLC test results in all treatments contain aloes, which is proven by the discovery of phenolic and terpenoid compounds. The combination treatment produces a color change intensity that is not darker and has a broader color change zone compared to the single treatment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the combination of Fusarium oxysporum and salicylic acid is less effective in producing Gaharu than the single treatment.

Abstract

Vaccines are immunogenic biological products (causing an immune response) in the form of whole microorganisms or parts of harmless microorganisms. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an illness caused by a new coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. The World Health Organization (WHO) has carried out a program to achieve vaccination for every citizen in the world in which more than 300 million doses of the COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine have been given to 100 countries around the world. Graphic data on the Our World Data website as of August 21, 2021, shows that Indonesia is in fourth place with the largest population that has been vaccinated, namely 56.99 million people (31.21 million had two doses and 25.78 million only had one dose). The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and the administration of the covid-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 years at SDN 01 Sitiung. This research method is accidental sampling, which is a sampling method by taking respondents who are or are available in a place according to the context. There were 22 respondents (68.8%) who had high knowledge, and 10 respondents (31.2%) had moderate knowledge and 32 children (100%) received the covid-19 vaccine. According to the results of the analytical test, there is no relationship between mother's knowledge and the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 years at SDN 01 Sitiung. Because value(p equal to 0.969). So there is no relationship. Meanwhile, 19 respondents (59.4%) have positive knowledge and as many as 13 people (40.6%) have negative knowledge. According to the results of the analytical test, there is no relationship between the mother's attitude and the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 years at SDN 01 Sitiung. Because the value ( p equal to 0.024). So no relationship. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between Mother's Knowledge and with the administration of the covid-19 vaccine to children aged 6-11 at SDN 01 Sitiung. It is hoped that future researchers who conduct research with this title should use other methodologies.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of media ownership by MNC Group on press freedom in Indonesia. In the context of democracy, press freedom serves as an important pillar that guarantees the public's right to obtain accurate and objective information. However, the phenomenon of media conglomerates that occurred after the 1998 reform showed that there was a concentration of ownership that could limit the diversity of information and affect the independence of journalists. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzes how MNC Group, as one of the largest media conglomerates in Indonesia, influences news content and public opinion. The methods used include in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observations on journalistic practices. The results of the study show that concentrated media ownership has the potential to create bias in reporting, where the media tends to side with the interests of its owners, especially when the owners have political affiliations. The study also identifies the challenges that press freedom faces in the face of media conglomerates and provides recommendations to maintain a balance between press freedom and fair media ownership regulation. This finding is expected to provide insight for policymakers and media practitioners in an effort to strengthen democracy and information disclosure in Indonesia.

Abstract

Green marketing has become an important strategy for Islamic banking in facing changing customer preferences that are increasingly concerned about sustainability. The implementation of this strategy not only increases competitiveness but also strengthens the image and reputation of banks amidst the increasing demands for more responsible business practices. However, Islamic banking faces various challenges in implementing green marketing strategies, including regulatory constraints, investment, and customer awareness levels. This study aims to analyze the impact of green marketing strategies on customer loyalty in the Islamic banking sector and how this strategy can be used as a competitive advantage. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing data from various sources, including previous studies, industry reports, and relevant literature. The data collected is then processed and analyzed systematically to identify patterns and factors that influence the effectiveness of green marketing in Islamic banking. The results of the study show that green marketing contributes positively to customer loyalty by increasing trust and emotional attachment to the bank. In addition, this strategy strengthens the competitiveness of Islamic banking compared to banks that still apply conventional approaches. However, to ensure the sustainability of its benefits, banks need to adapt to technological developments, increase transparency, and overcome obstacles that arise in the implementation of green marketing.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is an instructional approach designed to accommodate the diverse abilities, interests, and learning needs of students. This study explores the implementation of differentiated learning to foster 4C (Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication) skills in Grade X students during Islamic Education (PAI) lessons at SMK Plus Nurul Ulum Kemungsari Lor Panti Jember. The research specifically examines three aspects: the activities involved in differentiated learning, its relevance in fostering 4C skills, and the outcomes achieved through its application. This qualitative descriptive study employed observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana’s interactive model, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data condensation involved selecting, focusing, simplifying, abstracting, and transforming the collected information. The credibility of the findings was ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings demonstrate that differentiated learning effectively supports the development of 4C skills in students by tailoring the teaching process to their unique needs. This approach not only enhances students’ engagement and learning outcomes but also highlights its relevance as a pedagogical strategy for Islamic Education.
