Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan pemerataan akses dan mutu dalam konteks pendidikan formal serta menilai efektivitas berbagai upaya dalam mengatasi problematika pendidikan di Indonesia dan Brunei Darussalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana kebijakan dan strategi yang diterapkan mampu menjawab tantangan tersebut serta mengidentifikasi kelebihan dan kekurangannya di kedua negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kemajuan dalam upaya pemerataan akses dan peningkatan mutu, terutama melalui reformasi kebijakan dan pemanfaatan teknologi, meskipun masih dihadapkan pada hambatan geografis, ekonomi, dan kesiapan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pendekatan kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan antara pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, dan masyarakat untuk memperkuat sistem pendidikan yang lebih adil dan berkualitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara mendalam konsep pembelajaran kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) dalam kerangka pendidikan modern. CTL merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menghubungkan antara materi akademik dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa, baik secara pribadi, sosial, maupun budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menganalisis prinsip-prinsip dasar, karakteristik utama, serta keunggulan pembelajaran kontekstual dibandingkan metode konvensional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa CTL yang didukung oleh penggunaan media multimedia terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan ini sejalan dengan karakteristik pendidikan modern yang menekankan pada pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, CTL juga mampu menjawab tantangan pendidikan masa kini dengan menghadirkan proses belajar yang bermakna, relevan, dan adaptif terhadap perubahan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang mampu mengoptimalkan potensi peserta didik secara holistik dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This study examines the development and trends in Islamic education curriculum research from 1981 to 2024. Data were extracted from Scopus on November 7, 2024, using the query TITLE-ABS-KEY (Curriculum and Islamic and Education). After excluding non-English documents and non-article publications, 418 articles were analyzed bibliometrically. The analysis employed RStudio for statistical processing, VOSviewer for network visualization (co-authorship and keyword co-occurrence), and Microsoft Excel for supplementary data management. Findings indicate that Arvisais, O., Sanjakdar, F., and Zulfikar, T. were the most prolific authors (4 publications each). Ar-Raniry State Islamic University emerged as the leading institution (11 articles), while Indonesia contributed the highest output (162 articles). The Journal of Islamic Education published the most relevant studies (17 articles). This study provides a systematic overview of the field and suggests future research explore comparative curriculum models in Muslim-majority versus minority contexts.

Abstract

Nagari Pelangai, located in Pesisir Selatan Regency, is one of the coastal areas that experiences recurrent flooding every year. This research aims to analyze the community's views on flood disasters that occur on an ongoing basis and explore the adaptation strategies they apply before and after flooding. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological approach, which involves in-depth interview techniques, field observations, and documentation collection. The results show that the community has various views on flooding: some consider it a normal natural phenomenon, some see it as a worrying threat, and some view it as an event that needs to be watched out for. The adaptation strategies implemented include preventive measures such as building houses with more height, storing important items in a safe place, as well as responsive measures such as self-evacuation and cleaning up after flooding. However, most adaptation efforts are still individual and not collectively coordinated. These findings point to the importance of structural support and community capacity building in developing sustainable and locally-based adaptation strategies

Abstract

This research aims to investigate PAI teachers' strategies through learning designs at Muhammadiyah Middle Schools. This type of research is descriptive qualitative field research. Muhammadiyah Middle School in Yogyakarta is the site of this research. Three PAI teachers served as research subjects, with the research objects being PAI teacher strategies, student learning behavior, and Islamic education learning designs. Techniques for gathering data include observation, interviews, and documentation. Techniques for data analysis include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. According to the study's findings, there are two learning design strategies: planning and implementing learning. The planning design is adjusted to content standards and is passed down in the syllabus to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). At the same time, implementation is divided into three steps: opening, core activities, and closing. It begins with asking students how they are and brainstorming material. The core activities include communicating learning objectives, delivering material, and assessing students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The final activity, closing, is filled out by the teacher with learning reflections and conclusions.

Abstract

Bullying di sekolah merupakan masalah serius yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan fisik, emosional, dan sosial siswa. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya bullying adalah melalui pendidikan akidah akhlak. Guru akidah akhlak memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa agar memiliki perilaku yang baik dan saling menghormati. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran guru akidah akhlak dalam mencegah bullying di MTs Ma'arif 3 Taman Cari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru akidah akhlak sangat besar dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai agama, sopan santun, dan saling menghargai, yang secara langsung berdampak pada pengurangan perilaku bullying di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektifitas penggunaan media clay dan tusuk gigi dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas III MINU Metro Utara pada materi bangun datar. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari pada rendahnya minat serta kesulitan dalam memahami konsep bangun datar yang cenderung abstrak. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif demgan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data mengikuti tahapan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu; reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media clay dan tusuk gigi terbukti mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa yang ditandai dengan munculnya tujuh indikator, yakni; kelancaran berfikir, fleksibel, keaslian ide (orisinalitas), pengembangan gagasan (elaborasi), imajinasi, sikap eksploratif, serta rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi. Media ini juga menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, menyenangkan, dan kontekstual karna siswa melibatkan secara langsung dalam membentuk serta memahami konsep bangun datar secara nyata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam sangatlah penting dalam peranannya apalagi ketika berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran guru PAI dalam pencapaian kompetensi membaca Al-Quran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis jenis penelitian lapangan di SMPN 09 Pulung Kencana. Adapun metode  pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode Triangualasi yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Quran terbagi dalam berbagai keja-kerja operasional yaitu; guru sebagai motivator yang dimana guru mendorong siswa untuk meningkatkan semangat dan kegairahan belajar ; guru sebagai evaluator peran ini menilai siswa untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pembelajaran dan peran lainnya menjadikan guru lebih bervariatif dalam mengajar serta membuat peserta didik lebih termotivasi dalam membaca Al-Quran. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam membangun deskripsi tentang peningkatan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an pada siswa dengan mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai motivator dan evaluator dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

General Background: Character formation is a fundamental mission of Islamic education, as morality is the foundation for sustaining a nation’s dignity. Specific Background: In the context of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), the Living Qur’an approach integrates Qur’anic values into daily routines, fostering spiritual, moral, and social excellence. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies affirm the benefits of the Living Qur’an, few deeply examine its implementation process, supporting and inhibiting factors, and its holistic impact on students’ character. Aims: This study explores the process, supporting elements, and challenges in forming Qur’anic character through the Living Qur’an at Ikhwanul Hasanah Civil Boarding School. Results: Using a qualitative case study method with observation, interviews, and documentation, findings show that Qur’anic character—faith, piety, discipline, responsibility, and love for the Qur’an—is cultivated through classroom learning, extracurricular activities, pesantren culture, and community engagement. Novelty: This research provides an in-depth, process-oriented analysis that links daily habituation, role models, and institutional culture with comprehensive character formation. Implications: The Living Qur’an proves to be an effective pedagogical model for producing religious, morally grounded individuals prepared to become Rabbani leaders, despite challenges of diverse student backgrounds and limited teaching staff. Highlights: Integrates Qur'anic values into daily routines. Shapes faith, piety, and discipline holistically. Effective despite challenges in resources and backgrounds. Abstract

This research is motivated by technological developments that have had a major impact on various aspects of life, including children and adolescents. TikTok is one of the social media platforms that provides diverse content in different contexts, which can lead to careless use. This platform is not only a source of entertainment but has also become an interactive space where children explore identity, share stories, and develop distinctive communication patterns. The purpose of this study is to examine the phenomenon of TikTok use in depth through a review of relevant literature discussing the relationship between social media, language pragmatics, and student learning achievement. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The data for this study were collected from various academic databases. The findings indicate that the pragmatic aspects of communication and the learning achievement of elementary school students are significantly affected, both positively and negatively. The use of TikTok by elementary school students as an interactive social media platform reflects communication patterns that are rich in pragmatic elements, particularly various types of speech acts.
