Abstract

Proksi UCO menghasilkan sekitar 0,165 juta kiloliter/tahun. POME paling rasional diolah dekat PKS menjadi biogas, sedangkan UCO dan minyak pulihan SBE lebih sesuai dikonsolidasikan dalam hub pengolahan terintegrasi. Sumatera Utara memiliki basis sumber daya yang besar untuk ekonomi sirkular, tetapi angka ini bersifat estimasi perencanaan dan belum layak menjadi dasar investasi tanpa inventarisasi pabrik, pemetaan spasial, uji kualitas bahan baku, analisis biaya logistik, dan life-cycle assessment.

Abstract

The leaves and seeds of pangi (Pangium edule Reinw.) contain alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins, which acts as antioxidants. Antioxidants are needed to protect the body and inhibit the negative impact of free radicals due to the oxidation reactions that occur. Antioxidants are compounds that inhibit oxidation reactions by binding free radicals and molecules. This research aims to determine the comparison of the antioxidants activity of pangi (Pangium edule Reinw.) leaves and seeds using the DPPH (1,1,-Diphenyl-2-Picrylhydrazyl) method. Reactive research method, experimentally, namely by carrying out serial dilutions of concentrations of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 ppm in each test solution, then adding the DPPH solution and measuring the antioxidants activity with a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. After that, the IC50 (Inhibitor Concentration 50) value and the AAI (Antioxidant Activity Index) value are calculated, and the data were analyzed using ANOVA. The results of calculating the IC50 and AAI values are that the IC50 value of the pangi leaf ethanol extract is 49.6061 ppm (AAI=1.007), while the IC50 value of ethanol extract of pangi seeds is 50.2027 (AAI=0.9959). From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of pangi leaves has higher antioxidant activity compared to the ethanol extract of pangi seeds.

Abstract

Previous criminal justice practices in Indonesia were hindered by the confusion of the colonial-inherited Criminal Code (WvS), which erroneously merged the State of Emergency (Noodtoestand) into the construction of Force Majeure/Duress (Overmacht). Recognizing this systematic flaw, Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the National Criminal Code deconstructs this rule by independently separating Overmacht, Noodtoestand, and Self-Defense (Noodweer). This study is a normative legal research utilizing statutory, conceptual, and historical approaches. The results show two main findings. First, the ratio legis for this separation is rooted in the recognition of the legal subject's rationality. Overmacht is positioned purely as an excuse (schulduitsluitingsgrond) due to the paralysis of the perpetrator's free will under severe pressure, while Noodtoestand is recognized as a justification (rechtvaardigingsgrond) as it involves rational balancing (belangenafweging) strictly bound by the principles of subsidiarity and proportionality. Second, the differentiation of these three criminal defense grounds is based on four strict juridical parameters, including: the source of the threat, the condition of the perpetrator's free will, the target of the act (the injured party), and their dogmatic qualifications. Through this reconstruction, the New Criminal Code presents rigid legal certainty to minimize disparities in judicial decisions and guarantee substantive justice.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade elementary school students through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model. The research employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model was able to improve students’ reading comprehension skills. The improvement could be seen in students’ ability to understand reading texts, identify main ideas, answer questions based on the text, and make conclusions from the reading materials more effectively. In addition, the implementation of Cooperative Learning also increased students’ activeness and collaboration during the learning process. The classroom atmosphere became more active, interactive, and student-centered, which encouraged students to participate more enthusiastically in reading comprehension activities.

Abstract

Suboptimal student learning outcomes are often influenced by various internal and external factors, such as low learning motivation and an unsupportive peer environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of learning motivation and peer environment on learning outcomes in the subject of Transaction Administration among Grade XI students majoring in Online Marketing at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. A quantitative approach was employed using the ex-post facto method. Data were collected via an online questionnaire distributed through Google Forms, with a randomly selected sample of 119 students. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results show that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes, with a t value of 2.744 and a significance level of 0.007. Similarly, the peer environment also has a positive and significant effect, with a t value of 2.428 and a significance level of 0.017. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence learning outcomes, as indicated by an F value of 5.370, which exceeds the F table value of 3.07, and a significance level of 0.006, which is below 0.05. These findings demonstrate that enhancing learning motivation and fostering a supportive peer environment can significantly improve student achievement in Transaction Administration. The study underscores the importance of implementing motivational teaching strategies and cultivating a positive social climate within the school environment.
