Abstract

This research aims to examine the efforts of teachers in internalizing Pancasila values to fifth-grade students at SDN 03 Bandar Buat, Padang City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that teachers implement four main efforts: (1) exemplary behavior in daily attitudes and actions, (2) routine habituation activities such as congregational prayers, classroom duties, and reading Juz 'Amma, (3) integration of Pancasila values across all subjects, and (4) individual and collective guidance. The obstacles faced include limited supporting facilities and infrastructure, lack of student awareness in consistently practicing Pancasila values, and external factors such as insufficient parental support and negative peer influences. Solutions implemented include optimizing existing facilities, consistent habituation with positive reinforcement, persuasive and gradual guidance, and intensive communication with parents through parent meetings and class communication groups. The success of internalizing Pancasila values requires continuous collaboration among schools, teachers, students, and parents.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPT SDN 27 Pasar Kambang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This was caused by teacher-centered learning, group activities dominated by high-achieving students, inadequate teaching modules designed by the teacher, and low student motivation to cooperate due to the absence of a reward system. This study aimed to describe the improvement of Pancasila learning outcomes using the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model assisted by Canva in third-grade students at UPT SDN 27 Pasar Kambang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches, conducted in two cycles with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection procedures. Data collection techniques included observational analysis, tests, and non-tests. The research subjects were the classroom teacher as observer, the researcher as practitioner, and 22 third-grade students. The results showed that: First, the teaching module in cycle I obtained an average of 87.5% (B), increasing to 100% (SB) in cycle II. Abstract

A preliminary study at three elementary schools in District 1 of Lubuk Kilangan revealed that Pancasila education lessons remain insufficiently interactive, and teachers rarely utilize digital media in the learning process. This situation has the potential to dampen students’ enthusiasm and engagement in learning. Therefore, this study aims to develop Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media using the Problem-Based Learning model for the fourth-grade elementary school curriculum on the topic of gotong royong that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which comprises five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects include subject matter experts, fourth-grade teachers, and fourth-grade students from three elementary schools in District 1 of Lubuk Kilangan. Research instruments include a validation sheet, a practicality questionnaire, and learning outcome evaluation questions. The results of the study indicate that the developed learning media falls into the “highly valid” category with an average of 95.3%, comprising subject matter expert validation at 94%, language expert validation at 98%, and media expert validation at 94%. The practicality test yielded an average score of 85.33%, falling into the “highly practical” category, which included teacher ratings of 85.33% and student ratings of 91.23%. In addition, this medium has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes on the topic of reciprocal cooperation. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Articulate Storyline 3-based learning media is suitable for use as an innovative alternative in teaching Civic Education to fourth-grade elementary school students.
