Abstract

This research investigates students' higher-order thinking skills in the English Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo while learning reading through extensive reading (ER) approach. The class discussion in a chatting group (WhatsApp) was chosen since the learning process was conducted online; the data was chatting texts of class discussion when the intermediate and advanced reading class students presented their selected material. There were sixteen texts presented in the intermediate reading class. The texts could generate one hundred and six questions, one hundred and six answers, and twelve texts presented in the advanced class, creating seventy-seven questions and sixty-eight answers. The questions and answers were then analyzed based on the top three levels of Bloom's cognitive taxonomy. The results show that all questions could present their skill of higher thinking order. Meanwhile, most of the answers could reflect HOTS too, although there were few considered as LOTS (low-order thinking skill).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of SWOT analysis on TikTok Shop social commerce. This study used qualitative descriptive method. This method is an analysis method by providing a qualitative description of Strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in Social Commerce Tiktok Shop and SWOT analysis.    The results showed that in the SWOT analysis on TikTok Shop social commerce in the SWOT matrix, there are several strategies, including S-O, W-O, S-T and W-T that can be considered in making decisions in competing with other industries

Abstract

Professionalism of educators is crucial for high-quality learning. To this end, the education study program implemented an internship program to provide direct experience for students (prospective teachers) and engage them in the active and ongoing process of teacher identity construction. However, the increased professionalism of prospective English teachers from this programme is still questionable. This study aimed at i) explaining the importance of collaborative teaching (co-teaching), ii) describing the practice of co-teaching between English mentor of Thai schools and Indonesian prospective teachers, and iii) exploring how co-teaching strategy develops teachers’ professionalism. It applies a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation and interviews. The subject of this study involved two English mentors and two prospective teachers who joined the internship program in Thai schools. The research findings revealed that co-teaching is very important and helpful for prospective teachers in developing teacher professionalism. In this case, English mentors and prospective teachers collaborate since planning stage, implementing the lesson plans developed, and evaluating process. As result, the collaborative teachers indicated some improvement on their pedagogical competence, social competence, and also their English competence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of research on Muslim clothing, especially BHS brand sarongs. In fact, this research can increase the sales turnover of the sarong industry in Indonesia. Apart from that, this research aims to examine the role of brand image in building brand loyalty and brand trust. In this research, brand image is predicted to have the power to build brand loyalty and brand trust. This research aims to test and analyze the behavior of BHS sarong consumers in the cities of Malang and Pasuruan. The data in this study were analyzed using SEM SmartPLS 2.0. The sampling method used is a non-probability sampling method, with a purposive sampling technique. The number of respondents used reached 100 people. The findings of this research are that brand image is able to increase brand loyalty from BHS sarongs. However, brand trust is not able to mediate the relationship between brand image and brand loyalty, because to form brand loyalty, consumers also need purchasing power.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan, konsumsi rumah tangga dan tabungan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan petani padi di Kecamatan Glenmore Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif sumber data primer dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner atau angket. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 108 kepala keluarga, dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Hasil analisis statistik menjelaskan bahwa: (1) variabel bebas Pendidikan, konsumsi rumah tangga dan tabungan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan dengan Fhitung (11,125) > Ftabel (2,690). (2) Variabel pendidikan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansinya < 0,05. dan nilai koefisien korelasi menunjukkan hubungan sebesar 13,03% (3) Variabel konsumsi rumah tangga tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansinya >0.05 dan nilai koefisien korelasi menunjukkan hubungan sebesar 0,72% (4) Variabel tabungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai signifikansinya 0,011 < 0,05. dan nilai koefisien korelasi menunjukkan hubungan sebesar 6,10% (5) Variabel yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan yaitu variabel Pendidikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 13,03%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan percaya diri pada anak kelompok A TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan, Katerungan, Krian, Sidoarjo Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 melalui metode pembelajaran show and tell. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat khususnya bagi pengembangan pendidikan anak usia dini. Partisipan berjumlah 16 anak (7 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan) dari kelompok A di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Katerungan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah percaya diri. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Peneliti menemukan bahwa tingkat kepercayaan pelaksanaan Siklus 1 sebesar 31,25% dan meningkat menjadi 87,5%. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode show and tell diawali dengan guru menjelaskan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan oleh anak. Selanjutnya guru memberikan pertunjukkan klasikal dan memberi contoh. Setelah memberikan contoh, guru meminta anak yang akan show and tell untuk menunjukkan tangannya terlebih dahulu. Jika setiap anak mengalami kesulitan dalam show and tell menyampaikan maknanya, guru akan mengajukan pertanyaan dan menyemangati mereka. Setelah show and tell, guru mengajukan pertanyaan yang berbeda kepada setiap anak. Sebagai penguatan, anak mendapat imbalann berupa pujian, acungan jempol, tepuk tangan dan gambar bintang.

Abstract

The purpose of providing modern and professional health services is By paying attention to local cultural values and adopting these cultural values as an effort to adapt to the culture of the community in achieving the goals of modern health services. There are two research methods used by researchers in the field of social sciences, namely the quantitative method and the qualitative method. This process provides an overview of the researcher's efforts in processing the data in depth and elaborating the research database until the researcher succeeds in building a complete data set. In this process, the researcher involved respondents interactively. The results of the study show that health services are carried out according to MTBS standards. The access to referrals from the health center to the hospital is quite far, so assistance for MTBS patients with severe conditions is difficult to handle, and this is a large contributor to the infant mortality rate. The variables of officer characteristics and other factors outside the treatment of the children studied, the service process is very different in each development area.

Abstract

Background: Bites Baker Malang merupakan salah satu jenis usaha UMKM pembuatan kue yang fokus pada brownies. Usaha ini memiliki potensi yang cukup besar dalam perjalanan bisnisnya sehingga produknya cukup diminati oleh konsumen. Tujuan untuk tetap bersaing dan meningkatkan penjualan pada UMKM Kue Bites Biker Malang dapat tercapai dengan cara mempertahankan dan memperluas pangsa pasar pelanggan serta merebut pangsa pasar. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pelatihan bersama SDM Biker UMKM Bites untuk memecahkan masalah dengan menjabarkan permasalahan yaitu Penerapan Strategi Pemasaran Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Penjualan. Hasil: Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa produk dari UMKM Biter Biker sesuai dengan selera konsumen yang menyukai kue, namun perlu adanya inovasi rasa dan bentuk agar penjualan meningkat. Lokasi usaha harus mudah dijangkau oleh pelanggan. Harga produk terjangkau yaitu berkisar Rp12.000 hingga Rp17.000. Promosi penjualan cukup efektif karena sudah dilakukan secara daring melalui platform seperti Shopee, WhatsApp, dan Instagram. Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui bauran pemasaran, termasuk produk UMKM Biter Biker memang menarik bagi pecinta kue, namun diperlukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan penjualan, Lokasi harus mudah diakses. Harga sangat terjangkau, dan Promosi sudah efektif secara online.

Abstract

Sentosa Happy Spring is one of the event organizers are developing in Malang City, but the problems that often arise met is management of one obstacle the main thing that often faced by the perpetrator event organizer. Activities This aiming For increase quality management in field event organizer Sumber Bahagia Sentosa so that it can reach target organization with method effective and efficient. The method used is descriptive with observation, mentoring and evaluation techniques. The results of the activities This show that mentoring and training in improving management quality has a significant positive impact on business actors. Through this assistance and training, it helps MSMEs overcome problems in business management, with an emphasis on the importance of customer service. MSMEs gain an understanding of how to improve management and communicate with customers. This training also improves the quality of human resources (HR) and MSMEs' confidence in interacting with customers, even though they still have limitations in human resource management capabilities.

Abstract

Abstract This study's goal is to analyze the effects of social media, pariwisata, and destination branding on travelers' desire to visit the Pandasari in Pujon, Malang. Using the purposive sampling technique, which is based on a sample size of at least 60 respondents, the population in this study is the people of Kabupaten Malang. Two types of sumber data are used: primary and secondary data. technique for gathering data by providing information to the public. SPSS version 25 is used as an analytical tool in the methodology of data analysis. The study concludes that social media marketing, destination branding, and tourism tourism all have an impact on travelers' desire to visit simultaneously. However, Pemasaran Media Sosial does not have any significant dampak against berkunjung minat, Citra Destinasi does not have any significant dampak against berkunjung minat, and Destination Branding does not have any significant dampak against.  Keywords: Social Media Marketing, Destination Image, Destination Branding, Interest in Visiting
