Abstract

Stunting merupakan dampak kekurangan nutrisi kronis yang terjadi dari masa kehamilan hingga usia 24 bulan, menyebabkan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Masalah stunting menjadi perhatian serius di Indonesia, terutama di negara-negara berkembang, karena berhubungan dengan risiko kesehatan dan perkembangan yang suboptimal pada anak. Pemerintah Indonesia telah meluncurkan program penanganan stunting, terutama pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan anak. Meskipun demikian, prevalensi stunting di Indonesia masih tinggi, menunjukkan bahwa banyak anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan. Faktor-faktor penyebab stunting meliputi rendahnya akses terhadap makanan bergizi, rendahnya asupan vitamin dan mineral, serta masalah kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan dan menyusui. Selain itu, kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang stunting juga berkontribusi pada tingginya angka kejadian stunting. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan edukasi kesehatan kepada masyarakat, khususnya ibu, tentang pencegahan stunting. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang stunting dapat dicapai, yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi angka kejadian stunting di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembuatan Bank Sampah di Perumahan Roda Mutiara Kabupaten Tangerang mencerminkan kesadaran masyarakat yang semakin tinggi terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah, masyarakat perlu memahami cara pemilahan sampah yang tepat, manfaat bank sampah serta pemahaman konsep digitalisasi Bank Sampah. Program Bank Sampah diperkenalkan sebagai solusi inovatif yang tidak hanya berfokus pada pengurangan volume sampah, tetapi juga memberdayakan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pengelolaan sampah. Pembuatan aplikasi android tentang bank sampah di perumahan Roda Mutiara bertujuan untuk membantu pengelolaan sapah semakin lebih baik dalam program Bank Sampah untuk meningkatkan informasi, efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan sampah.

Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health issue in Indonesia. Early and accurate diagnosis and drug susceptibility testing are essential for TB management. This study compared the diagnostic accuracy of the locally developed InaTB-Rif molecular test and Xpert MTB/RIF, using Mycobacterium Growth Indicator Tube (MGIT) culture as the reference standard. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at Persahabatan Hospital, Jakarta, from February to August 2023. Presumptive pulmonary TB patients were recruited and tested using Xpert MTB/RIF, InaTB-Rif, and MGIT culture. The study assessed the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and agreement between InaTB-Rif and Xpert MTB/RIF for Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) detection and rifampicin resistance. Diagnostic accuracy was compared using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Results: MGIT culture identified 29 TB-positive and 26 TB-negative cases. InaTB-RIF showed a sensitivity of 93.1% (95% CI=0.77-0.99), specificity of 76.9% (95% CI=0.56-0.91), PPV of 81.8% (95% CI=0.64-0.93), and NPV of 90.9% (95% CI=0.70-0.98). Xpert MTB/RIF had a sensitivity of 89.7% (95% CI=0.726-0.978), specificity of 80.8% (95% CI=0.606-0.93), PPV of 83.9% (95% CI=0.66-0.94), and NPV of 87.5% (95% CI=0.67-0.97). The area under the curve (AUC) was 0.8501 for InaTB-RIF and 0.8521 for Xpert MTB/RIF, with no significant difference in accuracy (P=0.965). The kappa value for MTB detection was 0.776, indicating substantial agreement, while the kappa value for rifampicin resistance detection was 0.517, indicating moderate agreement. Conclusions: InaTB-RIF demonstrates comparable diagnostic accuracy to Xpert MTB/RIF with good diagnostic performance and agreement for detecting MTB and moderate agreement for rifampicin resistance detection.

Abstract

This study aims to explore moral education through the book adabul alim wal muta'alim written by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and the ethics of the teaching profession, so that from an understanding of moral education and professional ethics, teachers can vary and look perfect. The research approach used is library research, the data obtained from a literature review with a factual historical approach. The results of the study found that in the moral education written by KH.Hasyim Asy'ari and the professional ethics of the teacher, it contained moral values, personal character of a teacher, teacher's morals to students, and teacher's morals in teaching. Where both of them have the same meeting point and meaning even though the discussion is different.

Abstract

The objectives achieved in this research are: 1). To find out and describe what exemplary values ​​are contained in the film Ajari Aku Islam, 2). To find out and explain the relevance of exemplary values ​​in the film Ajari Aku Islam to Islamic religious education materials. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research content analysis with research subjects showing a film with the title Ajari Aku Islam in the form of scenes containing exemplary values ​​and other sources related to the research objectives, while the analytical technique used is Barthes' semiotics model. . Based on the research that has been done, there are several research results, namely exemplary values ​​such as husnudzan, helping, praying on time, tolerance, loving the Qur'an, sincere, istiqamah, patient, brave, and steadfast.

Abstract

Ahmad Dahlan's concept in developing a school in which general science and religious knowledge are taught at the Muhammadiyah School aims to form intellectual scholars by dissolving social class barriers applied by the Dutch education system which is counter-egalitarian in the world of education which causes differences in school graduates. resulting from each of these educations. Ahmad Dahlan's struggle in helping to change the fate of indigenous peoples embraced the common people by providing free schools in which there was general knowledge and religious knowledge aimed at changing their social status for the better. In order for the ideas implemented by Ahmad Dahlan to remain sustainable, the Muhammadiyah organization was formed as a conduit for his concept of thought. The concept of educational thought and business charity founded by Ahmad Dahlan continues and is growing, managed and continued by Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah schools are not only spread throughout Indonesia but also abroad until now.

Abstract

General background: The ability to read the Quran correctly is a fundamental aspect of Islamic education that contributes to students’ spiritual development and religious identity. Specific background: Despite its importance, many students in Islamic schools still face challenges in mastering Quranic reading skills, particularly in applying Tajwid and Makhraj rules. Knowledge gap: Previous studies have highlighted Quran literacy problems in various contexts, but limited research has systematically analyzed the underlying barriers in senior high-level Islamic institutions. Aims: This study aims to identify and analyze the factors hindering Quran reading instruction at MA Hasanuddin Gaprang, Blitar Regency. Methods: Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation and interviews with students and teachers. Results: The findings reveal several obstacles, including decreased student motivation, insufficient school facilities, and the continued use of outdated teaching methods, leading to disengagement in learning. Novelty: Unlike earlier research focusing on student performance alone, this study emphasizes the interplay between internal (motivation, background, intelligence) and external (school facilities, teaching methods) factors in shaping learning outcomes. Implications: The study provides practical recommendations for improving Quran reading pedagogy, serving as a reference for educators and policymakers to enhance the quality of Islamic education.Highlights: Identifies internal and external obstacles in Quran reading. Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional Islamic educational institution that serves various functions, such as instilling religious values, fostering creativity, and playing a role in community development. Pesantren also influences the religious attitudes of the surrounding community through quality religious education and the shaping of social attitudes. This research aims to analyze the impact of the presence of Pondok Pesantren Alfattah on the religious attitudes of the surrounding community. Pondok pesantren is an Islamic educational institution with a crucial role in shaping religious and moral values in society. This study discusses Pondok Pesantren Alfattah as the object of study, located in the Buduran Subdistrict. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data is gathered through in-depth interviews with community leaders, pesantren instructors, and several residents living around the pesantren. Additionally, participatory observation is used to understand the day-to-day activities at the pesantren and their impact on the surrounding community. The research results reveal the positive impact of the existence of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) on the religious attitudes of the community within a radius of 0.2-2.2 kilometers from Pondok Pesantren Al-Fattah. Data collection methods involve interviews, observations, and the collection of relevant documents. Data is analyzed inductively to draw general conclusions about the pesantren's impact on the religious attitudes of the surrounding community.

Abstract

Junior high school students are entering a transitional age or puberty which causes them to be in a state of needing recognition and searching for identity so that they are very vulnerable to environmental influences. This causes the risk of juvenile delinquency. PAI (islamic religion) teachers have a very important role to provide religious and spiritual guidance for students to build character and morals. This research was conducted at SMPN 5 Sidoarjo. The method used is qualitative with a naturalistic positivistic approach with data collection techniques through interviews, documentation and literature review. The results of this study are that the form of juvenile delinquency in SMPN 5 Sidoarjo students is classified as low delinquency. PAI teachers have contributed and played a major role in handling student delinquency, namely carrying out spiritual guidance programs on a scheduled basis. The supporting factors are students with Islamic religion being the majority and the inhibiting factors are carelessness in supervision and differences in student character.
