Abstract

Nutritional intake plays an important role in optimizing baby's growth and development. The amount of nutritional intake consumed is also influenced by the process of eating activities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Baby Led Weaning Method on baby weight in the Patingalloang Community Health Center Working Area. Quantitative research method with experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The research population was toddlers experiencing stunting who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria using purposive sampling techniques. Research results: The intervention group with a sample size of 20 children experienced an average weight gain of 0.85 kg. The control group also experienced an average increase of 0.65 kg with a test value of p value = 0.000, where it was concluded that there was an effect of giving MP-ASI using the Baby Led Weaning Method on the weight of babies aged 9-12 months in the working area of the Patingalloang Community Health Center.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there were 35,985 postpartum mothers who experienced ASI dams or (15.60%) postpartum mothers, and in 2015 postpartum mothers who experienced ASI dams were 77,231 or (37.12%). The increasing incidence of ASI dams is one of the health problems in Indonesia. Where this greatly affects the postpartum period, namely the failure to provide breast milk to infants and one of the failures to achieve coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to determine the determinants that influence the occurrence of breast milk dams in postpartum mothers in Bulukumba Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 30 postpartum mothers using total sampling. The results showed that the nipple length was the most influential factor among the five factors causing breast milk dams in the working area of ​​the Ujung Loe Health Center, Bulukumba Regency. This is based on a simple linear regression test obtained a p value of 0.04. Conclusion: From the results of the research conducted, it is known that all respondents who experienced breast milk retention were 19 mothers and 11 mothers who did not experience breast milk retention. After statistical tests were carried out using a simple linear regression test, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the causal factors, namely the nipples being too long and the occurrence of breast milk dams with a p value of 0.001.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment and workload on employee performance of Jambi City Population and Civil Registration Service employees. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 88 respondents. Hypothesis testing was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques the IBM SPSS 29 software application. The result of this research show that the Work Environment partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, workload partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, then work environment and workload simultaneously has significant and positive effect on the performance of Jambi City Population and Civil Regristration Service employees.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of work motivation and work commitment on employee performance at the Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Jambi service using data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 88 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses Descriptive Analysis Techniques the SPSS application as a data processing tool. The results of this research show that work motivation has a positive and significant influence on the Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Jambi. work commitment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Sugestions in the research: 1) regarding employee permomance variables, employees should make better work planning so that employees can complete work on time. 2) in the work motivation variabels, superiors should be better able to organize and survise employees so that employees have motivation from superiors so that employee performance can be even better. 3) in work commitment variable, employee should have a greater sense of family towards the angency/organization because the organization’s agency has a lot of meaning for each employee.

Abstract

The growth of the event organizer industry has grown rapidly in recent years. Future Work House is a business that offers services to organize and plan an event of both small and large scale. In practice, there are some unoptimal management functions such as employee recruitment, employee training and development, and human resource maintenance. This research aims to find out the implementation of human resources management that focuses on the recruitment, development and maintenance of employees at the event organizer Future Work House located in Jambi Province. The research carried out is a qualitative research conducted directly in the field through observations, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, on the employee development of the company strives to continue to strive to develop employees with training but still not optimal. Because of the lack of specific training to develop new and old employees. So is the maintenance carried out by the company. The company strives to satisfy and make convenience to employees in order to increase employee loyalty. But there is still a shortage of methods used so that employees can feel good maintenance in the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance, the effect of work discipline on employee performance, the effect of compensation on work motivation, the effect of work discipline on work motivation, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, and to test and analyze the effect of compensation on performance employees through work motivation, as well as testing and analyzing the influence of work discipline on employee performance through work motivation. This research uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research type. The sample in this study were employees of PT. Indah Cargo Logistik Jambi, totaling 54 using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The variables in this research are compensation (X1), work discipline (X2), work motivation (Z), and employee performance (Y). data were analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The research results show that compensation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant influence on work motivation, work discipline has a positive and significant influence on work motivation, work motivation has an influence positive and significant on employee performance, work motivation is able to provide a positive and significant influence in linking compensation to employee performance, and work motivation is able to provide a positive and significant influence in linking work discipline to employee performance.

Abstract

Manfaat yoga adalah untuk memperkuat otot dasar panggul dan otot perut sehingga otot kencang dan mencegah terjadinya berbagai keluhan di masa postpartum. Yoga mampu mencegah terjadinya perdarahan postpartum karena yoga menyebabkan otot-otot perut berkontraksi. Kontraksi otot perut bekerja menjepit pembuluh darah dan mencegah perdarahan postpartum serta mempercepat proses involusi uteri. Involusi uteri adalah proses uterus berubah menjadi kecil dan kembali ke ukuran sebelum hamil.Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan edukasi tentang postnatal yoga. Metode penyuluhan ini dilakukan secara langsung dengan ceramah dan diskusi secara interaktif serta simulasi postnatal yoga. Diskusi dilakukan dengan metode tanya jawab terkait materi. Materi selain disajikan secara presentasi juga diberikan melalui leaflet. Hasil kegiatan menunjukan bahwa setelah kegiatan ini sebagian besar ibu mempunyai pengetahaun yang baik tentang postnatal yoga. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini telah dicapai dengan menambah wawasan dan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang postnatal yoga.

Abstract

The rapid development of educational technology presents new opportunities for enhancing the teaching and learning process through electronic media, which can make learning more interesting and interactive, thus increasing student motivation and engagement. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different teaching methods direct teaching and the use of audio-visual media in enhancing English language comprehension among fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Pahandut, Palangka Raya. The research involved a service activity conducted with lecturers and students from the Tadris English Education Study Program (TBI) IAIN Palangka Raya. The methodology included both pre-service preparations and the implementation of two distinct teaching approaches. Class 5A received direct teaching with active interaction, while Class 5B utilized interactive videos. The study revealed that conventional teaching in Class 5A faced challenges such as reduced student engagement and passive participation. However, strategic improvements in teaching techniques and classroom management were recommended to enhance effectiveness. In contrast, the use of technological media in Class 5B resulted in higher student engagement and better comprehension of the material, as evidenced by their active participation and correct responses during activities. Overall, the study highlights the advantages and disadvantages of both teaching methods, emphasizing that the choice of method should be context-specific and aligned with learning objectives and student characteristics. The findings suggest that integrating technological media can significantly enhance the learning experience and outcomes, particularly for elementary school students.

Abstract

The research is conducted to know the quality of madrasah graduate profile seen from many aspects or variables, namely, “student academic” and “non-academic achievement”, and “the perception of consumer (parents and teachers) toward the graduate and profile of input” and the quality of madrasah graduate” such as learning medium, the student and teacher characteristic, and the school management as the supporting factors. the research method used is survey with quantitative approach. the result of the research indicates that generally madrasah graduates are not be able to complete with public school graduates-both academically and non-academically. however, the perception of educational consumer related to students’ attitude, participation I religious activities, student creativity, etc. is perceived as good enough. they feel satisfied enough to the madrasah graduate. the school management in madrasah is also good enough but it has not been supported by the infrastructurals input, namely such as physical building condition, library and laboratory, and so forth.

Abstract

The practice of Islamic learning education (PAI) in madrasah aliyah (MA) is expected to become holistic, systematic, integrated, and capable in combining cognitive, affective, and psychometric objectives. The educational process  is  to  create  students  with  strong  faith,  high  moral  fiber,  polite  personality,  dedicated,  humble,  possessing a holistic intellectuality, individually and socially religious, emotionally mature, and modest. This research exists to  identify  the  teaching  implementation  of  Islam  education  in  MA.  Specifically,  this  paper  is  to  distinguish  the development level of success in teaching PAI in MA. The result of this research indicates that the level of MA students in achieving cognitive learning in PAI is relatively well with the score of 78 to 80. The achievement from the psychometric level is measured by 3 well-behave aspects inevitably by the religious practices, however, there are still 2 among the students which still need guidance. Based on the affective aspect, five of the PAI issue studies are still considered unsuccessful. Factors that applies the success of PAI teachings include; the quality of the madrasah, behavior of the teachers, routine of the host families, and so on. Praktik pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) seharusnya dilakukan secara holistik, sistematis dan integral, serta mampu memadukan target capaian kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.Proses pendidikan agama di madrasah diharapkan mampu melahirkan peserta didik yang beriman dan bertakwa, bermoral tinggi, berkepribadian yang sopan, ramah, bermartabat, berakhlak mulia, serta memiliki intelektualitas yang tinggi secara holistik, saleh di ranah individual dan sosial, dewasa secara emosional, serta santun secara sosial. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran pendidikan Agama Islam di MA. Secara khusus penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat keberhasilan PAI di MA dan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilan pembelajaran PAI di MA. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil capaian kognitif siswa MA dalam pembelajaran PAI relatif sudah cukup baik dengan nilai 78 sampai 80. Hasil capaian aspek psikomotorik diukur dari 3 aspek perilaku juga cukup baik, terutama dalam ritual ibadah keagamaan, namun pada 2 aspek perilaku siswa laianya masih perlu perbaikan. Pada hasil capaian aspek afektif dilihat dari lima rumpun bidang isu pelajaran PAI masih kurang berhasil. Beberapa faktor ikut mempengaruhi tingkat keberhasilan pembelajaran PAI di MA, seperti kualitas madrasah, sikap keagamaan guru, pola asuh orang tua, dan sebagainya.
