Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kajian pengembangan pantai Ulee Lheue dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis SWOT. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu pengelola objek wisata pantai Ulee Lheue. Sampel dalam penelitian ini hanya satu orang saja. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sehingga mendapatkan hasil data penelitian. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu, pertama dengan melakukan studi lapangan yaitu melihat gambaran umum dan wawancara dengan pengelola objek wisata pantai Ulee Lheue. Kedua, dengan melakukan studi literature yaitu dengan melihat teori maupun beberapa referensi mengenai penelitian yang mungkin pernah dilakukan di pantai Ulee Lheue. Kemudian melakukan analisa dan pembahasan dengan menggunakan metode analisis SWOT. Ketiga, menentukan kesimpulan.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, objek wisata, pantai Ulee Lheue

Abstract

This article discusses the participation of male and female Islamic boarding school students (santriwan and santriwati) in the Real Work Lecture Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) at Ulumul Qur'an Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Langsa, with a focus on the implementation of innovative training programs. Involving programs such as News Anchor, MC in Arabic, and the Art of Crafting Handmade Bouquet Flowers, this research aims to evaluate the positive impact of KKN activities on the development of practical skills and the reinforcement of character values among the students. A thorough analysis of the effectiveness of each training program is also considered, taking into account the extent to which participation in these activities contributes to improving public speaking skills, mastering the Arabic language, and fostering creativity through the art of crafting handmade bouquets. The results of this research provide a clearer insight into the added value of KKN in the context of madrasah education, opening the door for further discussions on the implementation of relevant training programs in preparing students to face the challenges of the modern world.. .

Abstract

Kawasan Pantai Lhok Puuk merupakan salah satu kawasan objek wisata pantai yang terletak di Kecamatan Seunuddon Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Semenjak masyarakat mulai membangun objek wisata pantai, jumlah pengunjung mulai mengalami peningkatan, bahkan pengunjung yang datang tidak hanya dari dalam kabupaten melainkan juga dari luar kabupaten. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kelayakan kawasan Pantai Lhok Puuk sebagai destinasi wisata alam. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kelayakan kawasan Pantai Lhok Puuk sebagai destinasi wisata alam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah populasi wilayah dan populasi manusia.Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari studi literatur, observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kawasan Pantai Lhok Puuk termasuk dalam kategori layak sebagai destinasi wisata alam. Abstract

Schools need a disaster module as a special guide that is used to build student awareness in dealing with disasters. To meet the needs of students as users, this module must be able to deliver accurate and trustworthy information. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis, which explains in more depth what school DRR support modules have been developed. There are four steps to this research method: i) problem conceptualization, ii) data collecting (investigation), iii) data coding, and iv) data analysis and interpretation. This study uses search engines from databases such as Google, and data from the National Secretariat, KIE Media, and Schools. This paper will discuss further i) What DRR support modules have been developed in schools? ii) how is the module compatible with disaster learning? and iii) How suitable is the module for disaster learning in schools? To support a wider spectrum of literature emerging from the search, the database was searched using the following key terms: “Modules”, “Learning”, “Disasters”, “Schools”, “DRR”, “Training”, “Teachers” adding “AND” " and "OR". As an inclusion criterion, this discussion only considers the Learning module from the DRR aspect. A literature search was conducted from September 8 to September 21, 2022. A total of 6 modules that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included for further analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of data management, conclusions are obtained from the components consisting of objectives, indicators, materials, learning activities, exercises, self-reflection, summary, and references.

Abstract

This study provides an overview of how the Field Trip learning method can be used in school geography by utilizing natural and artificial laboratories. Geography education includes various components, including the lithosphere, anthroposphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere. One effective method to enhance learning is to utilize the environment as a resource through fieldwork, where students engage in direct observation and investigation outside the classroom. The research method uses a qualitative approach with literature studies and bibliographic analysis. The findings show that natural and artificial environments can support fieldwork-based learning, including (1) studying the distribution of flora and fauna in urban forests, (2) understanding natural disasters through visits to the Tsunami Museum, (3) applying remote sensing techniques by exploring hilly landscapes, and (4) utilizing university laboratories for Geographic Information Systems. The fieldwork method encourages interactive learning between teachers and students and peer involvement, creating a fun yet focused learning experience. In addition, incorporating the environment as a learning resource enhances students' critical thinking, encourages active participation, and fosters a scientific mindset. Students gain deeper geographical insights through this approach while developing important analytical and observation skill

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a gamification-based learning media that is feasible and effective for teaching the topic of atmospheric dynamics and its impact on life in Geography subjects. The material on atmospheric dynamics and its impacts includes several subtopics, namely: (1) identifying the layers of the Earth's atmosphere, (2) analyzing weather elements and interpreting weather data, (3) identifying atmospheric dynamics and their impact on life, (4) analyzing the classification of climate types and global climate patterns, and (5) understanding the characteristics of Indonesia's climate and its influence on human activities. This research explains that gamification does not mean creating a game, but rather developing specialized media to apply gamification concepts more effectively. The development of the media was carried out using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study produced learning media containing gamification elements such as points, badges, challenges, competition, collaboration, levels, content unlocking, duration, tasks, and game rules. The model used in the implementation of this gamification-based learning media is the Game-Based Learning model. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires with a Likert scale. The results obtained showed a validation score from media experts of 89%, from material experts of 83%, and students' trial results reached 83% as well. Therefore, the gamification-based learning media is categorized as “highly feasible” for use.
