Abstract

Abstract. Personalized online advertisement is expected to minimize irritation of theadvertisements, and it may be beneficial to help consumers in searching informationbefore they are making a purchase decision. At present, consumers are having a diverseattitude toward the personalized online advertising, some are in favor, some are neutraland some are actually opposed to. Consumer's attitude play an important role consumerpurchase intention. Therefore, it is very critical for the personalized online advertisingto provide more value added to the consumer based on their purchase behavior bygiving the relevant information, while at the same time keeping the consumer's privacy.Despite of a lot of effort has been put in place to improve the effectiveness ofpersonalized online advertising, it has yet gained more positive response from theconsumer. This research is using the survey method that involving 200 respondents anddata analysis is using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling).

Abstract

Endorser credibility is one of factors which influence muslim fashion development. In the other hand, it is the challenge for Indonesia is to be a centre of muslim fashion in the world. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of endorser credibility on purchase intention with three types consumers. A technique of sampling method in this research was quota purposive sampling. Total sample size was 225 respondents from each 75 housewives, 75 employees, and 75 female students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and SEM with PLS Approach. The results of this study shows that the credibility endorser have significant effect on purchase intention to female students. While the brand credibility and advertising credibility partially have no significant effect on purchase intention. On the type consumer housewives and employees partially have no significant effect on purchase intention. Simultaneously, advertising credibility and brand credibility affect significantly on purchase intention

Abstract

This study aimed to see whether intention of applying for microcredit was influenced by factors of demographic and online business characteristics. The selection of respondents used convenience sampling method by collecting qualitative and descriptive information through online survey to 235 online seller who were members of the Indonesian Online Business Association (APOI).  The results of the study using logistic regression analysis proved that only the type of online business that was significantly related to the intention of applying for micro credit.  Financial institutions should offer credit products that are suitable for the type of online business to increase intention. Further research based on the type of business and online products will provide better overview of online MSME intnetion models.

Abstract

Abstract. Bata shoes was the first top brand Indonesia in 2015-2017,  however, Bata’s selling rate come through decreased. The purpose of this study was to analyze brand equity ten influence towards purchase intention and purchase decision. Technique of sampling method in this research was quota purposive sampling. Total sample size was 200 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic and Structural Equation Model (SEM) version 3.2.1 SMART PLS. This study shows that purchase intention of hedonistic consumers is influenced by brand awareness, brand associations, and brand loyalty. Purchase intention has influence on current purchase and future purchase. Current purchases of hedonistic consumers has influence on future purchases. Purchase intention of utilitarian consumers is influenced by perceived quality and brand loyalty. Meanwhile, purchase intention affects current purchase. In addition, future purchases of utilitarian consumers is influenced by current purchases. Thus, the results of this research would benefit to PT Bata, Tbk as considerating on formulating strategy of strong brand building in increasing sale and facing market competition

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the characteristics of the testlet assessment instrument items of student’s prior knowledge on thermochemistry material. The method used in this research was research and development method of 3-D model (Define, Design, Develop). Instruments were piloted on 39 students and validated by experts. Instrument reliability (r11) of the instrument was 0.9 with very high category. The validity of the items consisted of 42 valid questions, and 3 invalid questions. The difficulty index of item consisted of 7 difficult questions, 34 moderate questions, and 4 easy questions. Discrimination index of item consisted of 7 questions bad category, 17 questions enough category, 20 questions good category, and 1 question very good category.Keywords : assessment instrument, prior knowledge, teslet, thermochemistry Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan karakteristik butir soal instrumen penilaian pengetahuan awal (prior knowledge) mahasiswa berbentuk tes teslet pada materi termokimia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan model 3-D (Define, Design, Develop). Instrumen diujicobakan pada 39 mahasiswa dan divalidasi oleh ahli. Reliabilitas instrumen r11 sebesar 0,9 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Validitas butir soal terdiri dari 42 soal valid, dan 3 soal tidak valid. Tingkat kesulitan butir soal terdiri dari 7 soal sukar, 34 soal sedang, dan 4 soal mudah. Daya pembeda butir soal terdiri dari 7 soal jelek, 17 soal cukup, 20 soal baik, dan 1 soal sangat baik.Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian, pengetahuan awal, testlet, termokimia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah luas dan keliling bidang datar pada mata kuliah Geometri dan Pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 mahasiswa semester empat Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Negeri Makassar tahun akademik 2019-2020. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah soal formatif tertulis pada topik geometri yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis kesalahan Newman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa mahasiswa melakukan (1) kesalahan memahami soal sebesar 24%, (2) kesalahan transformasi soal sebesar 54,67%; (3) kesalahan keterampilan proses sebesar 88% dan (4) kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir sebesar 89,33%. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan kesalahan jawaban pada semua pertanyaan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki kesalahan konsep pada topik keliling dan luas bangun datar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat yang dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami konsep geometri.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan Newman, geometri

Abstract

This paper investigates dilemas faced by local executives in promoting effectiae local governance while at the same time upholding democratic principles. Based on field research in Bantul and Jembrana, two notorious regencies for it's innovations in public policy, this paper concludes that from the process perspective, the implementation of democratic principle such as participation, accountability and transparency are still far too behind. However, when it analyzed using the outcomes perspective, policy innovations in Bantul and lembrana meet the public demands successfuly.

Abstract

The weakening of the Rupiah against the US dollar has encouraged Bank Indonesia to issued Bank Indonesia Regulation (Peraturan Bank Indonesia - PBI) No. 17/3/2015. The research aimed to analyze the factors that affected the Rupiah exchange rate, the effect of PBI No. 17/3/2015 on the movement of the Rupiah exchange rate, and the behavior of exchange rate movement to the shocks on the variables that influenced it. The research applied secondary data, namely monthly data from January 2008 to April 2019 taken from reliable sources such as National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Bank Indonesia (BI), and Statistics Indonesia (BPS). It was explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The studied data were processed with the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method to identify long and short-term effects. The results of the long-term equation show that export-import has a negative effect on the exchange rate. Similarly, inflation has no significant effect on the exchange rate. Then, the money supply has a significantly negative effect on the exchange rate. However, the interest rate of Bank Indonesia positively affects the exchange rate. Next, the implementation of PBI No. 17/3/2015 has a significant and positive impact on the exchange rate. Last, the crisis condition does not affect the changes in exchange rates.

Abstract

Current technological advances, especially the Internet of Things (IoT), are widely used by people in their daily lives to transact, communicate, and find various information. The research analyzed the effectiveness of promotions carried out by companies based on the concept of marketing communication from technological developments, namely the Attention, Interest, Search, Action, and Share (AISAS) model, and how to increase consumer purchases. The research applied a descriptive approach by distributing questionnaires to Zomato Gold members, with a sample size of 180 people. Data analysis applied Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to see the relationship between promotion, attention, interest, search, action, and share variables. The finding shows that the effectiveness of promotional advertising based on the AISAS model is not significant enough to encourage consumers to make purchases by visiting restaurants with Zomato Gold benefits. Therefore, Zomato needs to increase promotional activities on social media to increase consumers’ attention regarding these promotions by maximizing social media features. The increase in consumers’ attention to promotions will increase their opportunities to be interested, seek information, make purchases, and share information and experiences with others. However, when consumers pay attention to a promotion, they are not immediately interested in the advertisement. So, it is necessary to study other factors, such as internal factors that affect consumers, apart from external factors that influence consumers’ interest and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is engaged in the banking field. UOB Bank is a leading bank in Asia which provides a large number of financial services through its global network. In order to face the competition is quite tough, and able to survive even in difficult circumstances and to provide the best service to its customers the company should pay attention work engagement and loyalty of employees to increase their involvement and awareness and loyalty of employees to work in this company and also to find out how employee performance. To that effect we perform research work engagement (X) and employee loyalty (X2) on employee performance (Y). The method in this research is quantitatively using SPSS program 17, where samples were used that employees with respondents as many as 40 people. The sampling technique is probability sampling. The results showed that the results of hypothesis testing T test, t is known t arithmetic (6.329)> t table (2.024) and sig (0.000) <0.005. meaning that job involvement variables significantly influence employee performance. t (6.739)> t table (2.024) and sig (0.000) <0.005 means that the variable employee loyalty significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: work involvement, employee loyalty, employee performance
