Abstract

Kata Kunci: Pangan Organik, Perilaku Konsumen, Saluran Pemasaran, Negara Berkembang Abstract The trend of food safety is a sensitive issue in the food industry today. Organic agriculture can be an alternative solution because it has a right balance in terms of the environment, health and benefits for local farmers. However, high prices for organic products and low production scale limit the growth of the domestic organic food market. This research aims to analyze organic food’s consumer behavior, analyze the existing marketing channels and formulate alternative marketing channels for the domestic organic food supply chain. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling method in which the criteria for respondents were those who know about organic food and live in five big cities in Java and Bali. The marketing channel survey was conducted in Jakarta and West Java by interviewing each actor in the value chain. The results showed that organic food’s market opportunity was quite large, because the respondents were generally aware that organic food was good for health. Organic food consumers are currently included in the middle-class segment, aged 20-50 years, office workers, and income more than IDR 9 million a month. For consumers, certification labels are more important than brands in organic food. On the one hand, organic marketing channels still vary widely. In the B2C market, the use of digital marketing can minimize the financial risks of organic farmers. On the other hand, the B2B market can be optimized through cooperation in hotels, restaurants, cafes, hospitals, and the healthy food processing industry, supported by government policies. Abstract

In recent years consumer behaviour plays an important role on influencing customers' preferences to use a financing service. Contemporary consumers are becoming more selective in their choices, as they are more well-informed of a particular product or service. This research investigates the decision-making process which influence customers in choosing a financing service, by analysing the influence of religiosity, TPB (attitude towards behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control), and product attribute that drives customers' intent in choosing financial services in sharia multifinance. To address this notion, we collected sample feedback from 160 respondents, who are active customers of Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) multifinance ABC. The methododology used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The result shows that factors such as religiosity, attitude towards behavior, subjective norms and product attribute affect consumers' intention in purchasing a financing service. On the other hand, perceived behavioral control has no significant influence on consumers' decision-making. Therefore, it is imperative for those involved in the sharia multifinance industry to gain more insight in order to perceive market opportunities based on consumer behavior by developing suitable marketing strategies in order to capture their interest to opt for financing services in sharia multifinance. Abstract

The enormous potential for the development of agrotourism in Indonesia has not been explored efficiently due to nonoptimal marketing. Therefore, this research formulated the marketing strategy for the agrotourism sector in Lampung Province Indonesia. Purposive sampling was used to select the respondents based on the criteria of experts with experience, knowledge, or authority in agrotourism. This led to the selection of 12 people in the Department of Agriculture and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, tourism operators consisting of the Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), the Association of The Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA), and farmers/agritourism partners. Upon the analysis using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), the results showed that authentic experience should be prioritized with agrotourism actors or partners playing a big role in the marketing process. Furthermore, the addition of attractions with actors or partners is expected to play a key role in offering authentic experiences to tourists as a prioritized alternative strategy. These findings, therefore, showed the need for coordination and collaboration, intensifying marketing communications as well as the provision of tour packages to increase agrotourism marketing in the study area.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the possibility of identifying retailer segments. Data is the foundation of segmentation that helps identify the critical value drivers, select the appropriate engagement level and decide the retailer engagement. This study proposes a new approach that considers two-stage clustering for retailer segmentation and behavioural analysis among building materials companies in Indonesia. The alignment could provide a practical managerial approach to finding competitive advantage and a better understanding of sales opportunities. Retailer segmentation can be done differently from the most relevant sales perspective. In this study, we propose an alternative method for retailer segmentation based on two-stage clustering. First, segmentation is based on three categories of the size of order: a very potential group of customers in which the order size is large, a middle group and a group where the order size is small. Second, segmentation based on personal value is a relational perspective that considers the behavioural analysis from the manufacturer-retailer relationship.
