Abstract

The influence of social factors on interest in using Islamic financial services is an important topic in the banking industry. Social factors such as reference groups, family, role, and status have a significant influence on purchasing decisions at Islamic banks. This study uses qualitative research methods to understand the social dynamics that influence people's interest in using Islamic financial services. The results show that social factors, including social environment and Islamic financial literacy, influence people's interest in using Islamic financial services. Therefore, Islamic banks need to pay attention to social factors in designing marketing strategies and services in order to meet the needs and desires of the community. The suggestion is to conduct market research to identify the needs and preferences of the community regarding Islamic financial products and services.

Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the vessels used by a large part of society in the development of economic activity. In addition to economic activity, the foundations and principles in cooperatives are a reflection for Indonesians in the family system. The purpose of this study to determine whether such a cooperative can be said to participate in building the community economy in Tanjung Balai City should be studied and observed in more depth. As for this type of research, it is a descriptive qualitative research. This means that the researcher tries to provide a view and an overview while the researcher will directly plunge into the public through the process of field observation, in-depth interview (in-depth interview) as well as face-to-face and discussion. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques with researchers as key instruments that are always directly involved in all research processes.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine and assess the extent and impact of price, location and facilities on customer loyalty in coffee shops. Specifically, it focuses on a coffee shop located on Jalan Letda Sujono in Medan Tembung District. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, this research uses primary data collected from respondents. The research subject was a coffee shop on Jalan Letda Sujono, while the object of analysis consisted of 95 customers of the RGR KOPI shop. To analyze the data, SPSS 20.0 was used for classical assumption testing, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Findings from hypothesis testing, especially the t-test, show that there is a significant and positive influence of price on customer loyalty at the Coffee Shop on Jalan Letda Sujono, Medan Tembung District, with a t value of 2.794. This value is greater than the t table (1.65291) with a t sig value (0.006) < 0.05. Location has a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty at the coffee shop on Jalan Letda Sujono, Medan Tembung district. The calculated value is 2.059. This value is greater than the t table (1.65291) with a t sig value (0.003) < 0.05. Facilities have a significant and positive effect on Customer Loyalty of the Coffee Shop on Jalan Letda Sujono, Medan Tembung District, the t-count value is 6.257. This value is greater than the t table (1.65291) with a t sig value (0.000) < 0.05. Price (X1), Location (X2), Facilities (X3) have a significant and positive effect on Customer Loyalty of the Coffee Shop on Jalan Letda Sujono, Medan Tembung District. This value is greater than F table (2.26) with an F sig value (0.000) < 0.05 . The test results for the variables Price (X1), Location (X2), Facilities (X3) contributed 61.4% to the Customer Loyalty variable.

Abstract

Profitability (ROA) is an important ratio in every company's financial statements. Profitability (ROA) reflects the ability to earn profits through funds invested in overall assets that produce profits. Profitability in a bank cannot be separated from the components in the financial reports such as total financing disbursed, financing problems faced by the bank, and so on. This research uses quantitative data based on secondary data obtained from quarterly financial reports. With all the profitability of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia as the population and using purposive sampling as a sampling technique, the number of samples obtained in this research was 60 quarterly financial reports with an observation period of 20 quarterly financial reports for 5 years, for the period 2018- 2022 . The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression, R^2 test, t test and F test. The results of the study found that partially NUC financing had no positive effect on profitability (ROA), NCC financing had no negative effect on profitability (ROA). , and NPF have a significant negative effect on profitability (ROA). Simultaneously NUC, NCC, and NPF influence profitability (ROA).

Abstract

Labuhan Batu Regency is famous for its abundant palm oil production, this influences the agricultural sector in supporting the economic growth of a region. The aim of this research is to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector to the District's PDRB. Labuhan Batu and what factors influence the contribution value. The research method used is quantitative research using a descriptive approach and contribution analysis method to determine the contribution of the agricultural sector to the PDRB of Labuhan Batu Regency. The results obtained by the agricultural sector on the PDRB of the District. Labuhan Batu experienced an increase with an average of around 42% during the 2018-2022 period. Significantly, the contribution of the agricultural sector is influenced by several factors such as government spending, investment and labor which have a positive relationship with the contribution of the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of selling prices and production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) on the wages of oil palm workers in Meranti Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The research data used in this research is primary data obtained directly from the first source, either from individuals, such as the results of filling out questionnaires and distributed to oil palm farm workers in Meranti Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) 2020 software. The results of the research conducted show that the selling price has a negative effect on the wages of oil palm workers in Meranti Village, Bilah Hulu District. FFB production has a positive and significant effect on the wages of palm oil workers in Meranti Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency. The selling price and production of FFB simultaneously and significantly influence the wages of palm oil workers in Meranti Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that the implementation of accounting for regional levies at the Gunting Saga Community Health Center is still not good. The aim of this research is to determine the application of regional levy rate accounting for health services at the Gunting Saga Community Health Center, North Labuhanbatu Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Research techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the implementation of the Gunting Saga Community Health Center's accounting can be said to be good, but it still needs to be developed and improved so that it complies with applicable accounting standards. The Gunting Saga Community Health Center has carried out the health service levy process well and collects fees in accordance with the health service rates that have been set in accordance with North Labuhanbatu Regency Regional Regulation (PERDA) Number 6 of 2022.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions on the use of Bank BSI KCP Kampung Tax Labuhan Batu Utara customers in using digital banking services. (BSI mobile deposits). This type of research is quantitative. The data used in this research is primary data obtained through questionnaires with variable instruments using a Likert scale which were distributed to respondents totaling approximately 100 people. The data analysis technique used is a data analysis test consisting of validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test consisting of normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, and also using multiple linear analysis, which consists of F test, T test, and test the coefficient of determination (R²) using the SPSS version 22 data processing application. The results of this study show that performance expectancy has no effect, effort expectancy has a significant positive effect, social influence has a significant positive effect, and condition Facilitating conditions do not have a positive effect on Bank BSI KCP Kampung Tax Labuhan Batu Utara customers in using digital banking services (BSI Mobile Deposits).

Abstract

PDAM tariffs and policies have a very important role in maintaining the availability of clean water and quality services for the community. Economically, the tariffs set by PDAM enable the provision of clean water in a sustainable manner with operational finance, infrastructure maintenance, and investment in developing the water distribution network. This research aims to reveal the impact of PDAM Tirtanadi's tariff adjustment policy on customer satisfaction. Adjusting air tariffs is an important step for PDAMs to finance infrastructure maintenance and operations, but this can also have an impact on customer satisfaction. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Qualitative research makes it possible to describe phenomena in depth, including the impact of PDAM Tirtanadi's tariff policy on customer satisfaction. In the descriptive method, the main focus is on a detailed and in-depth description of the observed phenomenon, without carrying out statistical analysis. The data used in this research comes from writings contained in books, scientific journals, previous research and through interviews with customers and related parties of PDAM Tirtanadi Medan Denai Branch during college internships. The results of this research indicate that the tariff adjustment policy creates hopes and concerns among customers, who hope that service quality will increase in line with tariff increases. In addition, this research also identifies factors that influence customer perceptions of tariff policies, including the quality of services provided, transparency in the use of funds, and responsiveness to customer complaints. The implications of this research are the importance of considering customer needs and expectations in designing adequate tariff policies, as well as the importance of transparency and accountability in providing public services such as the provision of drinking water.

Abstract

The concept of usury adds complexity to transactions, affecting elements likeexchange agreements and individual behaviors in economic activities. Especially inIndonesia, usury significantly influences the spending habits of Muslims, leading to aculture characterized by excessive spending. This behavior not only lowers the value ofproducts but also gives creditors unfair advantages, enabling them to use forcefulmethods in enforcing contracts. This investigation examines the effects of usury on thepurchasing habits of Indonesian Muslims, highlighting its role in promotingextravagance, depreciating goods, and unfairly empowering creditors. By combiningtheoretical analysis with a review of literature, the study elucidates the intricaterelationship between usury and consumer behavior within the Indonesian Muslimcommunity.
