Abstract

ABSTRACT This research were aimed to find out the relationship between the interpersonal communication and organizational culture with the job satisfaction, the relationship between the interpersonal communication with the job satisfaction and the relationship between organizational culture with the job satisfaction of lecturer at Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.The data were collected by using job satisfaction scales, interpersonal communication scales and organizational culture scales. The research was conducted at the Universitas Sarjanawita Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The total number of the subjects were 58 that meet the criteria as a research subject.Data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and partial correlation analysis, by using SPSS version 17.0 statistical program as a tool. Theresult regression analysis showed : a) There were correlation between the interpersonal communication and the organizational culture with the job satisfaction. The result showed R=0,638 and Adjusted R Square (R²)=0,406, b) there were correlation positively between the interpersonal communication with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,544 (p=0,000) and effective contribution=29,6% and c) there were correlation positively between organizational culture with job satisfaction. The result showed R partial=0,505 (p=0,000)  and effective contribution=25,5%.Key words : Job Satisfaction, Interpersonal Communication, Organizational

Abstract

ABSTRACT           The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between brand image and making the decision of choosing Departement.          Subjects in this study were students Departement UST Psychology Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is from Karl Pearson Product Moment.The results of the analysis of decision-making variable data with variable pick Faculty  brand image in showing the value of r = 0,619 with significant level p = 0,000 ( p < 0,05). Based on the results of correlation can be stated that there is a significant positive relationship between brand image by selecting the decision-making department of psychology UST Yogyakarta.          Correlation test test results showed that the variables of brand image to decision choosing faculty has determinant coefficient of 0,383. Means variable brand image in contributing effectively to decision making choosing Departement by 38,3 %,  while the remaining 61,7 % is influenced by other factors such as external factors which consist of prince and promotion or marketing and internal factors consist of motivation to decision making and attitudes towards decision making. Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and lifestyle trends hedonism student of Psychology, University of SarjanawiyataTamansiswaYogyakart. The hypothesis of this study is that there are ties between the negative self-concept and lifestyle of hedonism on a college student.The subjects were female students of UST Psychology Yogyakarta, 18-22 years old, female, amounting to 87 people. Measuring instrument used was a self-concept scale and the scale of the lifestyle of hedonism. Analysis of data using Product Moment correlation with SPSS statistics program version 17.0 for Windows.Based on the analysis Product Moment correlation coefficient between the variables of self-concept and lifestyle trends hedonism is -0.382 with a significance level of P = 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that the hypothesis that there is a negative relationship between self-concept and lifestyle of hedonism in coed acceptable. This means that the lower the self-concept, the higher the tendency of hedonistic lifestyle, otherwise the higher the self-concept, the lower the tendency of hedonism lifestyle.Keywords: Adolescent Self-Concept, Lifestyle Trends Hedonism.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of self-concept and motivation to buy whitening products among girls.Subjects in this study were young woman using cosmetic whitening facial at the University Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the Product Moment Correlation analysis method.The results of the self-concept of variable data with the motivation to buy whitening products shows the value of (r) 0.725 with P = 0.000 (P <0.01). Based on the results of the analysis can be stated that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that self control variables contribute effectively to the motivation to buy whitening products by 52.5% and 47.5%. Abstract

Abstract This Research target is to know the relations between self confidence  with self  image by adolescence. Subject research is active student of Psychology Faculty Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University of Yogyakarta beetwen 18-22 years old amounting to 90 people. Research method use the technique of Purposive Sampling.Data intake use the Scale self confidance and self image from Suryani(2009). Scale self confidance consisted of by 60 item and Self image consisted of by 56 item.Result of this research show the existence of correlation coefficient of equal to 0,236 with the level significant 0,025 (p<0,05). Its meaning is hypothesis expressing there is positive relation self confidance by self image. Effectiveness regress in research of equal to 5,6% its meaning self confidance of equal to 5,6% determined by Self image and 94,4% influenced by other factors. Keyword : Self confidence, Self image, Adolescence

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of work group cohesiveness on employee morale The method used in this study was a quantitative correlational nature that aims to determine how much influence the work group cohesiveness on morale. This study sampled KSB Regional Financial Advisor V Yogyakarta some 111 people. Measuring instruments used in the form of two scales, namely scale morale and group cohesiveness scale. Scale morale value reliability (rxx) = 0,912 and the value of the work group cohesiveness scale reliability (rxx) = 0, 903.The results of the analysis of research data using regression analysis shows the coefficient of determination r2 = 0,536 and 16=0, 732 with a significance level of p <0,01 (p = 0, 000), so it can be concluded that no effect of group cohesiveness significant work on morale. Keyword: group cohesiveness, morale, work

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja dan sejauhmana sumbangan efektif workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pegawai BPDB (Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah) Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi berganda yang komputasinya menggunakan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 16.0 for Windows. Penelitian ini dilakukan di BPDB  Kota Yogyakarta dengan subjek penelitian pegawai BPBD sebanyak 50 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa skala workplace bullying, skala komunikasi interpersonal dan skala kepuasan kerja. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja pada pegawai BPDB Kota Yogyakarta. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan nilai r = -0,197 dengan signifikansi 0,170. Artinya, secara statistik workplace bullying tidak signifikan berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Hasil analisis regresi antara workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja yang menghasilkan nilai F = 7,701 dengan p = 0,001 (p<0,05). Selain itu terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis korelasi yang menunjukkan nilai r = 0,449 dengan signifikansi 0,001. Sumbangan efektif workplace bullying dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah sebesar 24,7%, dan sumbangan komunikasi interpersonal sendiri terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah sebesar 20,16%.Kata kunci : komunikasi interpersonal, kepuasan kerja, workplace bullying

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empirik hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan work engagement pada pegawai Universitas “X” di Yogyakarta. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja berkorelasi positif terhadap work engagement pada pegawai Universitas “X” di Yogyakarta. Semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka semakin tinggi pula work engagement pada pegawai yang bekerja di Universitas “X”. Sebaliknya semakin rendah kepuasan kerja maka semakin rendah pula work engagement pada pegawai yang bekerja di Universitas “X”. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Universitas “X” yang berjumlah 81 orang, meliputi dosen dan karyawan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala kepuasan kerja dan work engagement. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling.  Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Korelasi Product Moment dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for Sciencess (SPSS) versi 16.0 for windows. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menghasilkan koefisien korelasi r=0,642 dan p=0,000 (p<0,05) yang menunjukkan ada hubungan yang positif antara kepuasan kerja dengan work engagement sehingga hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan diterima.Kata Kunci: kepuasan kerja, pegawai, work engagement.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Apakah ada hubungan antara interaksi sosial dengan burnout pada karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara interaksil sosial dengan burnout pada karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang, semakin tinggi interaksi sosial maka akan semakin rendah burnout. sebaliknya, semakin rendah interaksi sosial maka semakin tinggi burnout.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Dasar Karya Utama, Magelang sebanyak 93 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala Interaksi Sosial dengan burnout. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment Pearson dengan bantuan program statistik SPSS versi 16.0 for windows. Hasil analisis korelasi Product Moment antara variabel interaksi sosial dengan burnout yaitu -0,229 dengan p = 0,014 (p < 0,05). Dari hasil di atas menunjukkan bahwa korelasi signifikan. Artinya hipotesis diterima karena, terdapat hubungan yang negatif yang signifikan antara interaksi sosial dengan burnout. Artinya semakin tinggi interaksi sosial maka semakin rendah burnout. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah interaksi sosial maka semakin tinggi burnout. Kata kunci : burnout, interaksi social, karyawan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan positif antarapersepsi kepemimpinan karismatik dengan motivasi kerja anggota Sat SabharaBintara Remaja Polresta Yogyakarta. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitianini yaitu ada hubungan positif antara persepsi kepemimpinan karismatikdengan motivasi kerja anggota Sat Sabhara Bintara Remaja Polresta Yogyakarta.Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota sabhara Polresta Yogyakarta berjumlah 90subjek. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala motivasi kerja yang mengacu padadimensi yang dikemukakan oleh Munandar (2001) dan persepsi kepemimpinankarismatik yang mengacu pada dimensi yang dikemukakan Banks dkk (2017.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif antara persepsikepemimpinan karismatik dengan motivasi kerja anggota Sat Sabhara BintaraRemaja Polresta Yogyakarta yang artinya hipotesis penelitian diterima.
