Abstract

The use of contraception is inseparable from various side effects, especially in long term use. One of the side effects of long term use of DMPA is a disorder of blood glucose tolerance. This study aims to analyzed the relationship between the duration of use DMPA injection contraception and fasting blood glucose levels. This is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. The population of this study was 48 respondents of DMPA injection contraception in PMB Yulida Tiani. Sample of 30 respondents was taken by using purposive sampling technique with regarding the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection use interview guidelines and fasting blood glucose laboratory tests. The results of this study using Spearman Ranked with p equal 0.1 and p table 0.306 obtained from the value of p value is greater than p table, 0.522 is greater than 0.306. Which means that H0 was received, so, there was no significant relationship between the duration of Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate injection contraceptive use and fasting blood glucose levels. The result of this study showed that 54,8 percent was used DMPA injection contraception for 24 until 65 months and 77,4 percent have normal blood glucose levels between 60 until 100 gr for dL or within normal limits. Therefore, DMPA injection contraception was safed to use for long time as long as the acceptor have not any risk of Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

Abstract: Foodborne disease is an illness caused by food or beverages that contain microorganisms or chemicals. One of the causes of foodborne diseases is snacks sold in schools. There are some bacterias that can cause foodborne disease such as Salmonella sp, Staphylococcus sp, Escherichia sp, and Shigella sp. This is a descriptive observational study, with cross-sectional design, using every sample from SDN 060809 Tegal sari Mandala II, Kecamatan Medan Denai. The result of this study is that there are many types of bacterias, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, nterobavter sp, Proteus sp, and Aerobacter aerogens on snacks. Every sample taken from SDN060908 was found to contain bacterias, but didn't exceed the specified limit. The most common bacteria is Enterobacter sp.Keywords: Foodborne disease, identification of bacteria, snack, elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the organizational culture in public high schools in Medan, to determine the performance of public high school teachers and to find out whether there is an influence of organizational culture on teacher performance in state high schools in Medan. . This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala Selatan, Labura which consisted of 7 respondents. This type of research used is quantitative research. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and distribution of questionnaires. The results showed that communication and teacher content had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

Fire disasters are one of the disasters that often occur in the wider community, be it office environments, residences, or other places of activity. One of them is in densely populated environments, the occurrence of fire disasters themselves has many factors, but in general these fire disasters occur in caused by human factors, which are none other than negligence, such as using electrical loads that exceed the power capacity and forgetting to turn off tools that are sources of heat, such as stoves and irons. One effort to reduce the occurrence of this fire disaster is by providing Fire Prevention Socialization to the surrounding community. The aim of this service itself is to provide insight into how to prevent and deal with fire disasters, which is carried out using lecture methods and direct simulation methods by the material givers. By carrying out this socialization, it is hoped that the surrounding community will be able to apply the methods taught during the simulation. if a fire disaster occurs in the surrounding area.

Abstract

Going concern audit opinion is an opinion issued by the company regarding the feasibility of the company's financial statements to see the future. This study aims to examine the profitability and liquidity of going concern audit opinions in manufacturing companies in the Property and Real Estate sub-sector which are listed on the IDX. This study uses a sample of manufacturing companies in the Property and Real Estate sub-sector which are listed on the IDX in 2016-2021. Based on porposive sampling, the number of manufacturing companies in the Property and Real Estate sub-sector used in this study were 47 companies. Hypothesis testing uses logistic regression using the Spss 23 program.

Abstract

Regional income is the main source of financing for regional development projects. This study aims to examine the Hotel Tax and Restaurant Tax on Regional Original Income in Regencies and Cities in West Sumatra Province. This study uses a sample through the website www.kemenkeu.go.id. The data taken is the realization of the Regional Original Revenue of the Regency / City government in West Sumatra for the 2019-2021 period. Based on the sample in this study using the sensu method in which the entire population will be used as a sample in this study consisting of 7 cities and 12 districts. Hypothesis testing using panel data regression using the E Views 9.0 program. The results showed that Hotel Tax had a positive and significant effect on Regional Original Income and Restaurant Tax had a positive and significant effect on Regional Original Income.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh audit fee, audit tenure dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kualitas audit pada perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2021 dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 perusahaan pertambangan yang memenuhi kriteria. Dalam menganalisis data menggunakan software SPSS 22, dan metode yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi logistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa Audit Fee tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitas audit, Tenure Audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kualitas Audit, Firm Size tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kualitas Audit

Abstract

Nile tilapia is a superior commodity that has been developed with high production. Male nile tilapia has a growth rate of 2 times faster than female nile tilapia, so the cultivation of male nile tilapia (monosex) is far more profitable. The masculinization using honey will produce monosexual male nile tilapia, through immersion method using honey. Honey contain flavonoids which function to direct male genitals. Honey also contains potassium which triggers steroid hormones in protein metabolism, brings glucose into cells and stimulates the hypothalamus, so that it can trigger appetite in animals and influence the level of consumption and feed efficiency. This study aims to determine the best type of honey in nile tilapia larvae for consumption and feed efficiency. Honey used in this study were; forest honey (from Bontocani, Selayar, Sumbawa) and livestock honey with a dose of 0.2% of the total volume of solvents, through the immersion method. The seven days old nile tilapia larvae were immersed in the treatments for 24 hours, then they were reared for 60 days. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications per treatment was used in this experiment. The results showed that honey from Bontocani forest produced highest feed consumption and forest honey (from Bontocani, Selayar and Sumbawa) produced highest feed efficiency.
