Abstract

In the eyes of the people in Arasoe Village, bagasse does not have a high benefit, it is only used as an embankment in a water channel or allowed to pile up. The bagasse pile is sometimes burned to reduce the quantity in the environment. However, burning bagasse waste is not effective in reducing the accumulation that occurs because the waste of sugarcane is very large and causes air pollution and the result of combustion only produces ash, if it is disposed of into the river it will pollute nature. Community empowerment in utilizing bagasse to become active puppets is a form of counseling by the community service team of STKIP Muhammadiyah Bone which is carried out online. This counseling was attended by 10 people consisting of the PKK group in Arasoe Village, China District, Bone Regency. The activities carried out were in the form of an introduction to the purpose of holding community service activities, presentation of tools and materials and the stages in making activated charcoal dolls. So that the community will be able to implement independently as the final result of this activity.

Abstract

Daging olahan yang ada dipasaran sering terkontaminasi oleh mikroba sehingga mengalami pembusukan atau masa simpannya sangat rendah. Sehingga, untuk menghindari kerugian biasanya ditambahkan pengawet sintetik, sedangkan pengawet sintetik berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengawet alami nabati yang aman bagi manusia. Salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan ekstrak kayu sepang (Caesalpinia sappan L.) sebab memiliki kandungan antioksidan serta antimikroba. Akan tetapi, perlu dilakukan analisa mengenai ekstrak kayu sepang dengan pH air yang berbeda (pH 6, pH 7 dan pH 8) agar aktivitas antioksidan dapat efektif. Penentuan uji aktivitas antioksidan didasarkan pada perubahan warna ekstrak selama perendaman daging olahan (bakso). Perubahan yang tidak signifikan pada pH tertentu akan dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk melakukan uji aktivitas antioksidan (IC50). Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu perubahan warna pada larutan ekstrak stagnan pada pH 5-6 untuk setiap variasi waktu perendaman (5, 10, dan 15 jam). Perubahan pH yang dijadikan sebagai uji lanjut untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan adalah pada pH 6. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa aktivitas antioksidan (IC50) pada pH 6 yaitu 1,16 ppm yang mengindikasikan bahwa sifat antioksidan sangat kuat. Kata kunci: Antioksidan, Caesalpinia sappan L, Kayu Sepang

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika perlu melibatkan budaya dan kehidupan yang ada di sekitar siswa agar bermakna dan siswa lebih mudah memahami konsep matematika yang akan dipelajari dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran online berbasis local wisdom terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Metode eksperimen kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, desain penelitian yang dipakai yaitu quasi experiemnt dalam bentuk nnonequivalent control group design. Sedangkan populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu semua kelas XI MIPA SMAN 11 Bone dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pembelajaran online berbasis local wisdom a’bulo sibatang, assamaturu, mappesabbi, sipakatau diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran online berbasis local wisdom diketahui dari hasil indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis, dimana persentase kemampuan koneksi matematis pada indikator mengaitkan antar ide matematika pada pre test sebesar 55,35% dan post-test sebesar 88,52%. Indikator mengaitkan ide matematika dengan disiplin ilmu lain pada pre-test sebesar 47,21%, dan post-test sebesar 85,35%. Sedangkan mengaitkan ide matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari pada pre-test sebesar 40,56% dan post-test sebesar 83,87%.. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa pembelajaran online berbasis local wisdom a’bulo sibatang, assamaturu, mappesabbi, sipakatau dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Nanopartikel emas telah berhasil disintesis menggunakan teknologi Green Sintesis memanfaatkan Ekstrak Ubi Jalar Ungu (Ipomea batatas) sebagai agen pereduksi emas menjadi nanopartikel emas. Secara fisika terbentuknya nanopartikel emas ditandai dengan perubahan warna ketika larutan emas direaksikan dengan pereduksi ekstrak Ubi Jalar Ungu dari kuning menjadi merah anggur. Selain itu pengukuran menggunakan Spektroskopi UV-Vis juga menunjukkan bahwa telah terbentuk nanopartikel emas yang ditandai dengan terbentuk puncak pada kisaran panjang gelombang 500 – 600 nm. Pengukuran nanopartikel emas yang dihasilkan pada berbagai variasi waktu menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel emas yang dihasilkan cukup stabil terhadap waktu yang ditandai dengan puncak yang terbentuk pada kisaran 541 – 544 nm. Kata kunci: Nanopartikel Emas, Green Sintesis, Ubi Jalar Ungu, Spektroskopi UV-Vis ABSTRACT Gold nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized using Green Synthesis technology utilizing Purple Sweet Potato Extract (Ipomea batatas) as a reducing agent of gold into gold nanoparticles. In physics the formation of gold nanoparticles marked with a color change when a solution of gold reacted with the reducing Purple sweet potato extract from yellow to red wine. Measurements using UV-Vis spectroscopy also showed that gold nanoparticles have been formed which is characterized by peaks formed in the wavelength range of 500-600 nm. Measurement of the gold nanoparticles produced at various times showed that gold nanoparticles produced quite stable over time characterized by peaks formed in the range of 541-544 nm. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi isolat dari ekstrak kayu sepang dengan menguji keberadaan kandungan Flavonoid pada ekstrak. Isolasi dilakukan dengan melakukan ekstraksi menggunakan sonikator yaitu Ultrasonic-Assisted Solvent Extraction dengan menggunakan pelarut organik yaitu Etanol. Proses etanolik ini digunakan untuk mengisolasi senyawa flavonoid pada kayu sepang dengan menggunakan konsentrasi pelarut yang optimum dengan variasi konsentrasi pelarut 85%, 90%, 95%, dan 99% serta variasi lama waktu ekstraksi sonikasi yaitu 15 menit, 20 menit, dan 25 menit. Hasil ekstraksi akan dikarakterisasi menggunakan Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) dengan terlebih dahulu dikarakterisasi awal melalui kadar air, kadar abu, serta uji kualitataif dari ekstrak. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah kadar air dan kadar abu masing-masing adalah 6% dan 98%. Hasil uji kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan warna ekstrak yang mencirikan bahwa terdapatnya senyawa Flavonoid pada ekstrak kayu sepang. Ekstrak yang mendekati larutan kontrol adalah pada konsentrasi 90% dimana perubahan warna terjadi menjadi merah keunguan sama dengan larutan kontrol (Kuersetin). Kata kunci: Kayu Sepang, UASE, Brazilin ABSTRACT This study aims to identify isolates from sappan wood extracts by examining the presence of Flavonoid content in the extract. Isolation is done by extraction using sonicator that is Ultrasonic-Assisted Solvent Extraction by using organic solvent that is Ethanol. This ethanolic process is used to isolate flavonoid compounds in sappan wood by using optimum solvent concentration with 85%, 90%, 95%, and 99% solvent concentration variations and variation of time of sonication extraction ie 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and 25 minutes. The extraction results will be characterized using Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) by first characterized by water content, ash content, and qualitative test of the extract. The results obtained are water content and ash content are 6% and 98%. The result of qualitative test indicate that there is a change of color of extract which characterizes that the presence of Flavonoid compound in the extract of sappan wood. The extracts close to the control solution were at a 90% concentration where the color change occurred to purplish red as well as the control solution (Kuersetin). Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of blended learning learning methods assisted by mind mapping of Lontara script to enhance students' reasoning abilities at UPT SMP Negeri 1 Kahu,. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research that utilizes a purposive sampling technique and a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design (teachers' considerations). In this study, 60 students from classes VIII B and VIII C made up the population. 30 students from class VIII B served as the experimental class in this study, whereas 30 students from class VIII C participated as the control group. The implementation of blended learning learning methods mediated by the thinking is the main emphasis of this study.The purpose of this research is to enhance student' reasoning skills through the use of blended learning techniques that are assisted by mind mapping integrated Lontara script based on android applications. The gain score test was used evaluate the study's data and determine how much the students' reasoning skills had enhanced both before and after the learning process was put into effect. The results of this study show that there is an improvement in students' reasoning abilities before and after using the blended learning method with the use of the Lontara script's mind mapping. The average result of the pretest was 47 to 79 in the posttest, with a gain score for the experimental class of 82% and a gain score of 72% for the control class.Abstrak: Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode pembelajaran blended learning berbantuan mind mapping aksara Lontara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa di UPT SMP Negeri 1 Kahu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian yaitu kuasi eksperimen jenis nonequivalent control group design, melalui teknik purposive sampling (pertimbangan guru). Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi siswa kelas VIII B dan VIII C sebanyak 60 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua kelas, dengan 30 siswa sebagai kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa sebagai kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Fokus penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode pembelajaran blended learning berbantuan mind mapping terintegrasi aksara Lontara berbasis aplikasi android dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran siswa yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji gain score untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan kemampuan penalaran siswa sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan kemampuan penalaran siswa sebelum menggunakan metode pembelajaran blended learning berbantuan mind mapping aksara lontara dan setelah menggunakan metode pembelajaran blended learning berbantuan mind mapping aksara lontara dengan hasil rata-rata pretest 47 menjadi 79 pada posttest dengan gain score untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 82% sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 72%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemenuhan pupuk untuk tanaman palawija dan padi masih menjadi permasalahan utama sebagai besar petani khususnya di daerah Kecamatan Patimpeng Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan sebab perolehannya dibatasi. Salah satu solusi alternatif yang dapat dilaksanakan adalah melalui pemanfaatan tanaman sekitar seperti tanaman bambu. Akar pada tanaman bambu dapat ditransformasi menjadi pupuk organik melalui serangkaian proses fermentasi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan pupuk organik kepada masyarakat khususnya masyarakat Desa Latellang melalui pemanfaatan akar bambu dengan memanfaatkan bakteri akar (rhizobacter) menjadi pupuk organik cair yang ramah lingkungan, yakni PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacter). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahapan utama yaitu penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa mitra mengalami peningkatan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan akar bambu dengan peningkatan 85% yang semula tidak mengetahui cara pengolahan akara bambu menjadi terampil dalam melakukan fermentasi untuk membuat biang akar bambu sebagai sumber bakteri perakaran untuk tanaman.Abstract: Fulfillment of fertilizers for secondary crops and rice is still a major problem for large farmers, especially in the Patimpeng sub-district, South Sulawesi province, because the production is limited. One alternative solution that can be implemented is through the use of surrounding plants such as bamboo plants. Roots in bamboo plants can be transformed into organic fertilizer through a series of fermentation processes. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to introduce organic fertilizer to the community, especially the Latellang Village community through the use of bamboo roots by utilizing root bacteria (rhizobacteria) into an environmentally friendly liquid organic fertilizer, namely PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacter). This community service is carried out in three main stages, namely counseling, training, and mentoring. The results of this community service show that partners have increased skills in utilizing bamboo roots with an increase of 85% who initially did not know how to process bamboo roots and become skilled in doing fermentation to make bamboo roots as a source of root bacteria for plants.

Abstract

Eggshells are household waste often found in Pitumpidange Village and thrown away by the community. Eggshells consist of 94% CaCO3, 1% MgCO3, and 1% Ca3PO and the remaining 4% is organic matter which can be processed into environmentally friendly toothpaste. Apart from eggshells, another natural ingredient in toothpaste is betel leaf. It contains essential oils, catechins, and tannins which are polyphenol compounds and can act as an antiseptic and prevent the biological activity of caries-causing bacteria such as Streptococcus Mutants. The purpose of this Community Service is to overcome partners' problems, namely the accumulation of eggshell waste which is a crucial problem at the Karang Taruna Group in Pitumpidange Village. The program also increases the empowerment of partners through the manufacture of environmentally friendly toothpaste by utilizing the village's potential in the form of eggshells and betel leaves. Ten people are participating in this program. The community service implementation method consists of three main stages: counseling, training, and mentoring. A questionnaire containing statements about the partner's knowledge and skills after the program was implemented used to find out the partner's response to the program. The results of the community service activities show that the partners of the Karang Taruna group in Pitumpidange Village can process eggshells combined with betel leaves into environmentally friendly toothpaste. Therefore, this community service supports the implementation of village SDG goals and supports Indonesia in the G20 group (Group of Twenty) in utilizing the natural surroundings through green innovation.

Abstract

Illiteracy is a crucial issue today, especially in Indonesia. The high illiteracy rate in Indonesia reaches 3.56% of the population. One of the most significant illiteracy issues is in Pationgi Village, Patimpeng District. Illiteracy is experienced by many teenagers, especially those who are not in school. The culture of the community also contributes to the high illiteracy rate in Pationgi Village. Most parents have never been to school or tried to get an education, which makes kids reluctant to go to school, leading many people who cannot read or write. The purpose of this community service is to reduce illiteracy through community service activities and the assistance of the Magguru Mabbaca application. Magguru Mabbaca is a mix of data, video, audio, text, and sounds that can be seen and heard on a smartphone. Magguru Mabbaca was developed to allow partners to understand and recognize letters and numbers quickly. Integrating the Bugis language with Magguru Mabbaca will assist the Pationgi Village community, which is still illiterate. Counseling at partner locations, training with two stages of training beginning with the introduction and operation of applications, and assistance to see an increase in partners' knowledge and understanding of reading and arithmetic are all part of the implementation methods. The result of this community service is that partners experience a significant increase in the knowledge component and application of technology, with an increase of 85% and 100%, respectively. This shows that the Magguru Mabbaca application helped partners improve their reading and math skills in a big way. Therefore, Magguru Mabbaca can be a solution for people in South Sulawesi who still have a high quantity of illiterates, which can be reduced by introducing holistic applications.

Abstract

Black glutinous rice is a potential commodity in Latellang Village. However, this potential is not empowered because there is no counseling or other service activities in processing black glutinous rice. The community, especially partners, namely the Maddaung Farmer Group, do not take full advantage of black glutinous rice and only process it into delicious snacks and served at certain times. Therefore, this community service aims to maximize the potential of black glutinous rice by diversifying processed black glutinous rice products into coffee and tea. This product has never existed or been introduced by extension workers or replicated other product innovations, especially in Bone Regency. Community empowerment through this community service program is carried out through three main stages: counseling, training, and mentoring. The results of the program implementation are that partners can find out information on the benefits of processing black glutinous rice and have skills in diversifying products into tea and coffee. In addition, partners have also been able to process finances and market products through the marketplace with an increase in productivity of 98%. The impact of this service can realize sustainable development goals, namely healthy and prosperous villages.
