Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has led to the rise of online gaming, which has significantly affected various aspects of daily life, including education. This study aims to analyze the impact of online games on students' concentration and academic performance in the classroom. Online games can have both positive and negative effects on students. On the positive side, certain games are designed to enhance cognitive skills, such as critical thinking, strategy, and teamwork. However, the negative effects are more pronounced in students who become addicted to online gaming. Excessive time spent playing games can interfere with study time, reduce concentration in class, and hinder academic achievement. Students who frequently play online games tend to be more easily distracted, struggle to maintain focus, and become disengaged during lessons. Research findings indicate a significant negative correlation between the amount of time spent playing online games and academic performance. Students who spend longer hours gaming tend to have lower academic scores compared to those who game less. Therefore, it is crucial for schools and parents to monitor online game usage and set appropriate time limits to prevent it from disrupting effective learning.

Abstract

The rights and obligations of the husband and wife after the divorce are contained in Article 41 of the Marriage Law, but currently many ex-husbands forget the obligation to provide for children after the divorce so that many ex-wives demand this obligation. Therefore, the authors formulate the problem as follows: 1) How is the implementation of the fulfillment of children's rights after the divorce of their parents based on Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage in the Pekanbaru Religious Court?, 2) What are the obstacles in granting and fulfilling rights -children's rights after divorce?, 3) What about post-divorce, the child's rights are not fulfilled by his biological father? The aims of this study are as follows: 1) To find out the implementation of the fulfillment of children's rights after divorce based on Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, 2) To find out the factors that become obstacles in the implementation of the granting of children's rights after divorce, 3) To find out the legal remedies that can be taken for children's rights that are not fulfilled by their biological father. In addition, there are several factors that hinder the implementation of post-divorce child rights, including economic factors, independence of ex-wife, relationship between ex-husband and ex-wife who post-divorce is not good, the ex-husband has remarried, and the complicated and high cost of the application for the execution of post-divorce child maintenance rights is neglected by the ex-husband. The legal effort taken to fight for the right to support children post-divorce granted by the Religious Courts is through execution, but during 2020 to 2023 no one has ever registered an application at the Pekanbaru City Religious Court Office.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan nasional melalui implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka membawa konsekuensi terhadap perlunya pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang lebih adaptif, reflektif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Kurikulum ini menuntut perubahan peran guru dari pengajar menjadi fasilitator yang mampu mengelola pembelajaran kontekstual dan berbasis karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMP Karya Serdang Lubuk Pakam serta menelaah sejauh mana pembelajaran tersebut mengakomodasi kebutuhan siswa secara nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis dokumentasi perangkat ajar seperti RPP, modul, dan jurnal refleksi. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran PAI telah berlangsung secara bertahap, dengan penyesuaian perangkat ajar dan strategi diferensiasi oleh guru. Namun, hambatan seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, minimnya pelatihan kontekstual, dan tantangan literasi masih menjadi kendala utama. Meskipun demikian, terdapat peluang besar dalam pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis nilai-nilai lokal dan spiritualitas siswa melalui inovasi yang bersumber dari konteks budaya religius masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran PAI memerlukan dukungan sistem pelatihan berkelanjutan, refleksi kurikulum yang adaptif, serta kolaborasi antara guru, sekolah, dan pengambil kebijakan untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan membumi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di MTs Tamansiswa Medan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan siswa menghadapi tantangan era digital dan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka mulai diimplementasikan secara bertahap melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, proyek penguatan profil pelajar, dan integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur digital dan kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan baru, madrasah secara aktif melakukan pelatihan, kolaborasi antar guru, serta penguatan literasi digital siswa. Implementasi kurikulum ini menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi abad 21 siswa, seperti berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan kemampuan beradaptasi dengan teknologi. Studi ini merekomendasikan penguatan sinergi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua dalam mendukung keberlanjutan transformasi pendidikan berbasis nilai dan teknologi.

Abstract

Curriculum policy in Indonesia continues to transform dynamically in response to the challenges of globalization and the demands of internal reform. This study aims to analyze the evolution of national curriculum policy in the post-reform era and examine the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) as well as the integration of Deep Learning as adaptive strategies for addressing the complexities of the 21st century. Utilizing a literature review method, this research synthesizes data from laws and regulations, government policy documents, and various relevant scientific articles. The analysis reveals that the evolution of the curriculum from the Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) of 2004 to the Kurikulum Merdeka represents a logical journey from a centralized paradigm to full decentralization and autonomy. The Kurikulum Merdeka, grounded in the philosophies of humanism, social constructivism, and local wisdom, emerges as a response to the need for more personalized and contextual learning. Furthermore, the integration of Deep Learning through content development, technology-based projects, and industry collaboration is identified as a strategic step in equipping students with digital competencies relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is concluded that this adaptive curriculum policy has significant potential to enhance national competitiveness; however, its success heavily relies on the education system's ability to overcome fundamental challenges such as equitable infrastructure quality and the continuous improvement of teacher capacity.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in distinguishing the traits and characteristics of the younger generation. However, the rapid advancement of information technology, especially among Generation Z, requires more innovative and relevant teaching strategies. The purpose of this article is to create an effective digital literacy-based educational worldview for Generation Z in PAI. Through simulation and visualization, technology enables the development of more keys in educational materials and helps students understand Islamic concepts. In education, personalization allows educational modules and teaching strategies to be tailored to students' needs, which can increase their motivation and learning outcomes. This phenomenon is very similar to the development of Generation Z in the digital world.

Abstract

Early Islamic education significantly influences the development of children's character, ethics, and spirituality. The role of parents in facilitating Islamic education during this stage greatly impacts children's growth. This study aims to examine how parents contribute to the implementation of Islamic education from a young age and the effect it has on instilling religious values in children. The research employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing detailed interviews and observations of parents with young children. The results indicate that parents are instrumental in imparting Islamic teachings through their parenting style, the integration of religious values into everyday life, and overseeing their children's religious practices. Nevertheless, this involvement is affected by various factors, such as parents' comprehension of Islamic education, time limitations, and the availability of educational resources.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found in the seventh-grade class at MTsN 6 Agam, where students' mathematical problem-solving abilities are still relatively lacking, with many students scoring below 40 in problem-solving with a percentage ranging from 33%-44%, categorized as low. The low problem-solving abilities of the students are suspected to be influenced by one factor, namely Self Efficacy.It was found by the researcher during the observation that students easily give up and are unwilling to try to complete tasks, indicating a lack of self-efficacy among the students.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of self-efficacy on mathematical problem-solving abilities.The population in this study is the seventh-grade students of MTsN 6 Agam for the 2024/2025 academic year.The research method used is quantitative research employing the ex post facto type of research.The sample was randomly taken from 20% of each class VII at MTsN 6 Agam, resulting in 51 students.The instruments used were the self-efficacy questionnaire and mathematical problem-solving ability test questions.Based on the analysis of the research data, it was found that there is a significant influence of self-efficacy on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.This is evidenced by the hypothesis test results with a t_value of 17.968 and a t_table of 2.009, thus t_value > t_table at a confidence level of α = 0.05, which means there is a significant influence of self-efficacy on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.without any reference or formula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki upaya para guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menerapkan strategi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) di lingkungan sekolah menengah atas. CTL berfokus pada model pendidikan yang berpusat pada siswa, dengan menambatkan pembelajaran pada pengalaman nyata yang dialami siswa dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. Dalam ranah PAI, metode ini menawarkan solusi yang berharga terhadap permasalahan pembelajaran teoritis yang terlepas dari penerapan di dunia nyata. Tujuan utama dari metode ini adalah untuk memastikan bahwa siswa tidak hanya memahami prinsip-prinsip Islam secara intelektual, tetapi juga mampu menghayati dan mengamalkan ajaran-ajaran tersebut dalam perilaku mereka sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen, secara spesifik model Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan pendidik dan peserta didik, serta evaluasi terhadap sumber-sumber pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kontekstual ini secara signifikan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa, memperdalam pemahaman mereka terhadap materi keagamaan, serta menumbuhkan perspektif spiritual, tanggung jawab sosial, dan kesadaran moral. Guru PAI memegang peran penting dalam merancang kurikulum yang mengaitkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dengan situasi nyata yang relevan bagi kehidupan siswa. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengajaran PAI berbasis kerangka kontekstual menghasilkan pengalaman pendidikan yang lebih dinamis, relevan, dan berdampak, serta membantu dalam pembentukan identitas keislaman siswa sekolah menengah.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain how to teach Islamic religious education to young children through play tactics. Play describes a fun activity that can be done with or without tools. To strengthen the facts and information that underlie the discussion, this research uses a literature study approach, namely focusing on collecting, reviewing and evaluating various relevant literature sources. Various ways of using playing tactics and their significance in studying Islam will be discussed in this article. This is intended to help children understand religious concepts. According to research, children can learn Islamic teachings in a more interesting and enjoyable way if they use play techniques. Apart from that, play activities educate moral values, foster social relationships, and shape children's Islamic personalities.
