Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi dan frekuensi pemberian pupuk organik cair yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan anggrek Cattleya sp pada masa vegetatif. Penelitian dilakukan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura selama 4 bulan penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan split plot, sebagai anak petak konsentrasi pupuk (K), 3 taraf perlakuan dan petak utama frekuensi (F), 3 taraf perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali dan setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman, sehingga dihasilkan 81 satuan percobaan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah konsentrasi, k1= 1 ml/l air, k2= 3 ml/l air, k3= 5 ml/l air dan frekuensi f1= 2 hari sekali, f2= 3 hari sekali f3= 4 hari sekali. Variabel yang diamati iyalah pertambahan jumlah daun, pertambahan lebar daun, pertambahan panjang daun, pertambahan jumlah tunas, pertambahan jumlah akar.Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa interaksi pemberian POC super bionik dengan konsentrasi dan frekuensi yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh nyata pada pertambaahan panjang daun, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertambahan jumlah daun, pertambahan lebar daun, pertambahan jumlah tunas dan pertambahan jumlah akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi pemberian POC Super bionik dengan konsentrasi 1 ml/liter air dan frekuensi 4 hari sekali memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertambahan panjang daun pada pertumbuhan tanaman anggrek Cattleya sp. Abstract

This study was aimed to obtain the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste to the growth and yield of kale on the field. The research was conducted from March 1st until April 16th, 2019 at the experiment field in Agriculture Faculty, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The research was used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with the application of organic fertilizer as a single factor. The research was designed in 5 treatments of concentration and 5 replications, each replication consisted of 4 sample plants. The treatments consist of i1 = 300 ml / liter of water, i2 = 400 ml / liter of water, i3 = 500 ml / liter of water, i4 = 600 ml / liter of water, i5 = 700 ml / liter of water. The variables observed in this research consist of root volume, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, and root dry weight. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the administration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste can increase the growth and yield of kale plants on peat soil. Giving concentration of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste 600 ml/liter of water produces the highest number of leaves and a concentration of 700 ml/liter of water produces fresh weight and the highest dry weight of kale plants. The use of liquid organic fertilizer from fish waste with a concentration of 500 ml/liter of water showed the most efficient results for all observation variables.Keywords: fish waste, kale, liquid organic fertilizer, peat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction of planting media and the concentration of POC bean sprouts that provide the best growth of red betel cuttings. This research was carried out from February to May 2018 in the Maya Island sub-district of Kemboja village. The study used factorial experimental methods with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors, namely planting media (m) POC bean sprouts (p). The media consists of two levels, namely (husk charcoal and manure soil), POC factor consists of 4 levels, namely (0%, 20%, 40%, and 60%), there are 8 combinations of treatments with 3 replications and each replication consists of 3 sample plants. The combination of treatments meant is m1p0, m1p1, m1p2, m1p3, m2p0, m2p1, m2p2, and m2p3. Observation variables observed were cut length (cm), number of leaves (strands), root volume (cm3), and shoot dry weight (g). The results showed that there was a significant interaction in root volume and dry weight, and gave the highest mean treatment (soil and manure + POC 40%), which was 2.63 cm3 for root volume and 1.56 g for shoot dry weight.Keyword : land, husk charcoal, manure, POC bean sprouts

Abstract

This study aimed to get the best combination of inorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer of coconut fiber as a nutrient solution for aggregate culture on growth and yield of strawberries. The study was conducted at from February 14th to April 25th 2019. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment given as combination of inorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer was five levels of: k0 (100% organic liquid fertilizer), k1 (75% inorganic nutrients), k2 (75% inorganic nutrients with organic liquid fertilizer TDS 1.300 ppm), k3 (75% inorganic nutrients with organic liquid fertilizer TDS 1.800 ppm), and k4(100% inorganic nutrients). Variables observed such as root volume, plant height, leaf number, number of stolons, number of flowers, number of fruits, fruit and dry weight of strawberry plants. The results showed that application a combination of imorganic nutrients and organic liquid fertilizer did not increased the growth and yield of strawberries. Providing 75% of inorganic nutrition increased the growth and yield the same as given 100% of inorganic nutrition. Keywords: inorganic nutrition, organic liquid fertilizer, strawberries.

Abstract

This study aims to determined the best dosage of palm oil ash on the growth and yield of ciplukan plants in peat soil. This study was conducted from 8th March 2019 "“ 8th June 2019 in the Faculty of Agriculture"™s experimental garden, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method by one factor oil palm ash treatment consisting of 5 treatment levels, with 5 replications and every treatment there are 4 plant samples, so there were 100 plants. This study has treatment such as: a1 = 10 tons/ha equivalent to 200 g/polybag, a2 = 15 tons/ha equivalent to 300 g/polybag, a3 = 20 tons/ha equivalent to 400 g/polybag, a4 = 25 equivalent to 500 g/polybag and a5 = 30 tons/ha equivalent to 600 g/polybag. The variables observed were plant height (cm), many of branches (branches), root volume (cm3), plant dry weight (g), number of fruits per plant (fruit) and weight of fruit per plant (g). The study results show the of various dosage palm oil ash gave a significant effect on all variables. The best result dosage of palm oil ash is 10 tons/ha equivalent to 200 g/polybag. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the interaction between wood ashes and quail dung fertilizer as well as the dose of both, which provided the best growth and yield on cayenne pepper in peat soils. The study was conducted at Jl. Equator, Gg. Teluk Betung Maju, Kelurahan Siantan Hilir, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara, Pontianak City. The period of the study by December 3rd 2018 to April 5th 2019. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized factorial design (CRD) consisting of 2 treatment factors. The first factor was wood ashes with 3 levels of treatment, and the second factor was quail dung manure with 3 levels of treatment. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, each replication consisted of 4 sample plants, so that the total number of plants were 108 plants. The treatment consisted of wood ash treatment i.e a1 = 430 g/polybag equivalent to 21 tons/ha, a2 = 620 g/polybag equivalent to 31 tons/ha, a3 = 810 g/polybag equivalent to 41 tons/ha and fertilizer treatment quail manure enclosure p1 = 200 g/polybag is equivalent to 10 tons/ha, p2 = 400 g/polybag is equivalent to 20 tons/ha, p3 = 600 g/polybag is equivalent to 30 tons/ha. Observation variables in the study were plant height (cm), plant dry weight (g), root volume (cm3), number of productive branches (branches), number of fruits per plant (fruit) and weight of fruits per plant (g). Supporting observation variables on environmental conditions are air temperature ( °C), relative humidity (%) and rainfall (mm). The results of this study showed that interaction of the wood ash treatment and the quail dung manure does not significantly affect all observed variables. The wood ash treatment significantly affected plant dry weight, root volume, number of productive branches, number of fruits per plant and fruit weight per plant but had no significant effect on plant height of 2 MST and 4 MST, while the treatment of quail dung manure no significant effect on all observational variables. The combination of wood ashes at a dose of 810 g/polybag and 400 g/polybag quail dung manure provide the highest rate of yield of cayenne pepper on peat soils.Keywords : wood ash, cayenne pepper, peat, quail dung manure

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the best dosage of clam shell powder for the growth and yield of green mustard on peat soil. The research was conducted at the research field of Agricultural Faculty of Tanjungpura University Pontianak from October 28th to December 28th 2018. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in this experiment with 4 levels of clam shell powder dosage and 6 replications. The levels of dosage were 10.1, 13.6, 17.3 and 20 tons/ha consecutively. Observed variables were the leaf number, the root volume, the leaf area and the fresh and dry weight of plant. The results showed that the levels of clam shell powder had no significant effects on all of growth and yield variables observed. It is concluded that the 10.1 tons/ha was the most efficient dosage of clam shell powder. Keywords : the clam shell powder, peat soil, Green Mustard

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the best incubation duration of green lamtoro fertilizer for the growth and yields of eggplant "gelatik" on alluvial soils. The study was conducted at Permata Hijau Complex, Jalan A. Yani 2, Pontianak, by June 29 to November 11 2018. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, 4 samples and 4 replications. The treatments were set as p1 i.e lamtoro leaves without incubation, p2 1 week incubation of lamtoro leaves, p3 2 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves, p4 3 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves and p5 4 weeks incubation of lamtoro leaves. Observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, dry weight of plants, number of fruits per plant, and weight of fruits per plant. The results showed that the effect of incubation duration of green lamtoro leaves fertilizer had a significant effect on all observed variables. As a conclusion, the application of green lamtoro leaves fertilizer incubated for 3 weeks noted as the best growth and yield of eggplant "gelatik" on alluvial soil.Keywords: alluvial, lamtoro leaf, eggplant, green fertilizer.

Abstract

The research is aimed to determine the effect of ash and cow manure on growth and yield of sweet corn cultivated on peat soil. Ash applied in this study was prepared from coffee skin. The research was carried out from April 8 to July 19, 2019,This research was conducted in Pontianak West Kalimantan. The experiment is arranged according to factorial randomize block design with two factors, i.e., dosage of ash (Factor A) and dosage of cow manure (Factor B). Factor A consists of three levels is, a1 (30 ton/ha equivalent to 15 kg/plot), a2 (40 ton/ha equivalent to 20 kg/plot), a3 (50 ton/ha equivalent to 25 kg/plot) and factor B also consists of b1 (10 ton/ha equivalent to 5 kg/plot), b2 (20 ton/ha equivalent to 10 kg/plot), b3 (30 kg/ha equivalent to 15 kg/plot). Each treatments is replicated 4 times, and each of this experimental unit has 8 sample crops. The results showed that the applicaros of 50 ton/ha of coffee husk ash and 30 ton/ha of beef cattle fertilizer was the best dose togrowth and yield of sweet corn on peat soil. Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response of California papaya seeds and to find the best dose of sugarcane compost application for the growth of California papaya seeds. The study was conducted at the Campus of Tanjungpura University, Pontianak for 3 months. The method used was a field experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) pattern, consisting of 6 treatments, 4 replications and 3 samples. Treatment b1 = dosage 150 g / poly bag ≈ 5% sugarcane compost b1 = dose 225 g / polybag ≈ 7.5% sugarcane compost b3 = 300 g / polybag dose ≈ 10% sugarcane compost b4 = 375 g dose / polybag ≈ 12.5% sugarcane compost b5 = doses 450 g / polybag ≈ 15% sugarcane compost and b6 = 525 g dose / polybag ≈ 17.5% sugarcane compost in a composition of 3 kg media weight each. The observation variables were plant height, number of leaves, leaf chlorophyll content, stem diameter, root volume and plant dry weight. The results of this experiment proved that the use of 150 g / polybag sugarcane compost was an effective dose for the growth of papaya seeds.
