Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi dan self-efficacy matematis siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian masing-massing yaitu 30 siswa (kelas eksperimen) dan 30 siswa (kelas kontrol) sekolah dasar di beberapa sekolah sekitar kota Rantauprapat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diberi pendekatan realistik lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diberi pembelajaran konvensional, (2) adanya interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy matematis, dan (3) proses penyelesaian komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran matematika realistik lebih baik dari pendekatan konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa PMR lebih baik dari pendekatan matematika konvensional dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan self-efficacy matematis siswa.Improvement of Students’ Mathematical Communication Skills and Self-Efficacy through the Realistic Mathematics Learning ApproachAbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy through a realistic mathematics learning approach (PMR). This research uses a quantitative research approach with quasi-experimental methods. The samples used in each research were 30 students (experimental class) and 30 students (control class) in elementary schools in several schools around the city of Rantauprapat. The results of this study indicate that (1) an increase in mathematical communication skills of students who are given a realistic approach is higher than students who are given conventional learning, (2) there is an interaction between learning approaches with students' initial ability to improve mathematical communication skills and mathematical self-efficacy, and (3) the process of solving students' mathematical communication using a realistic mathematics learning approach is better than the conventional approach. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that PMR is better than conventional mathematical approaches in improving students' mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy.

Abstract

The source of data used in this study was secondary data. Twenty companies were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was the documentation method derived from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) gallery from 2016 to 2020. The data analysis was carried out by applying panel data regression (pooled data) technique. The result of this study found that 1) Self-financing Ratio (E/C), Financial Leverage Ratio (LR), Long-term Asset Ratio (LAR) had a negative and significant effect on Financial Performance, 2) Debt-to Assets Ratio (DAR) had a positive and significant effect on Financial Performance, 3) Financial Assets to Total Assets had a positive and insignificant effect on Financial Performance.

Abstract

Teaching materials encompass all systematically organized content used in the learning process with the aim of illustrating the competencies that learners will acquire, including modules. The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the analysis of students' needs for teaching materials in the form of hydroponic modules based on research findings. The population in this study consists of students who have taken hydroponics courses. Sampling is done through simple random sampling, involving 31 students as research subjects. This descriptive research aims to determine the needs for the development of research-based module materials for hydroponics learning and to provide more optimal learning facilities. Research instruments include questionnaires for the needs of both teachers and students, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students and teachers have a need for teaching materials that can broaden and enhance their understanding, and can be studied independently by students, especially in the form of research-based modules. This research is essentially an initial stage in the process of developing teaching materials in the form of modules based on research findings.

Abstract

This study focuses on the use of halogen lamps in the design of a Solar Test Simulator to simulate sunlight conditions in testing solar panels. Halogen lamps are chosen as the light source due to their ability to approximate the solar spectrum, enabling testing of solar cells in a controlled laboratory environment. However, precise adjustment of halogen lamp light is crucial to ensure the accuracy and consistency of test results. The design of the Solar Test Simulator for Solar Panels involves configuring the placement of solar panels so that the designed tool can provide simulation based on actual solar panel measurements. The performance of solar panels is displayed through a monitor placed in the design, providing comprehensive information about the solar panels. Limitations in the placement of solar panels do not provide reference regarding measurement conditions based on the angle of incoming sunlight. Therefore, further design is needed concerning the positioning of solar panels during measurements. The development in this tool's design includes adjustments to the height of the halogen lamp from the solar panel, specifically at heights of 0.328m, 0.366m, and 0.405m.

Abstract

Human resources in an organization are very important capital to achieve the vision, mission, and goals of the organization. Especially at the Regional Staffing Agency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, competent human resources are needed to improve employee performance and staffing services. However, there is still a knowledge gap about the effect of transformational leadership style on work motivation and employee performance. This study used a qualitative method with an explanatory design with a sample of 89 employees of the Regional Staffing Agency of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The main results showed that transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance. Increased work motivation also has a positive effect on employee performance. Transformational leadership style mediated by work motivation makes a significant contribution to improving employee performance. This study implies that the application of transformational leadership style can increase work motivation and employee performance at the Regional Staffing Agency of Southeast Sulawesi Province, to provide more optimal staffing services

Abstract

The housewife has an important role in the family's financial management. They are responsible for regulating spending, saving, and investing to meet the needs of the family. This community empowerment program aims to introduce investment in financial instruments to the members of PCA Kraton so that they can make smart investment choices and avoid the risk of fake investments. The materials being delivered include financial records using SIAPIK application and stock investments using the Magic application. The findings from a one-way t-test for a paired sample of 25 participants showed an increase in the financial literacy score of the PCA Kraton households by 1.80 points with a 5% significance rate. This indicates that community-serving activities were successful in improving the participants' knowledge of family financial planning and investment instruments

Abstract

Organisasi Pemuda FKPPI berperan sebagai platform sosial yang bertujuan mengembangkan generasi muda melalui kesadaran dan tanggung jawab sosial, yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat dan untuk masyarakat, terutama di wilayah desa/kelurahan. FKPPI, sebagai wadah organisasi masyarakat, terbentuk berdasarkan keinginan bersama untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu, menyediakan forum yang ideal untuk melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan yang memiliki dampak positif. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan teknik kepada Pemuda FKPPI, dengan fokus pada aspek ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, sehingga mereka dapat menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan meningkatkan potensi angkatan kerja pemuda secara berkesinambungan. Tim PKM telah berhasil memberdayakan Pemuda FKPPI melalui pelatihan keterampilan hidup, khususnya dalam bidang instalasi kelistrikan rumah tinggal dan las listrik. Keterampilan ini tidak hanya bermanfaat untuk mentransfer pengetahuan kepada pemuda lainnya, tetapi juga dapat digunakan untuk membuka peluang usaha dengan melibatkan anggota FKPPI Tanjung Balai.

Abstract

This review delves into the quest for optimal efficiency in the secondary cooling process of nuclear reactor water plant coolant systems. Modeling secondary cooling nuclear processes is hardly performed. Thus, Neural networks with traditional statistical methodologies are integrated to innovate a hybrid model to revolutionize nuclear reactor cooling systems' performance, reliability, and safety. A total of 63 indexed papers were reviewed in the nuclear field that analyzed critical research gaps, including the need for uncertainty modeling and resilience against external hazards. Insights into sensor technologies, data analytics, and real-time monitoring underscore the importance of continuous optimization and predictive maintenance were reviewed. A descriptive analysis for a month of sampling data was presented for the parameters of temperature for TT003 and TT004 and pressure for PT002 and PT003 of the secondary process. The confidence level of 95.0% is identified for the temperature and pressure parameters. The lowest standard error was recognized at 0.00032 and 0.01691, respectively. The review culminates with a forward-looking perspective, recognizing the pivotal role of hybrid machine learning models in shaping the future of secondary cooling processes for nuclear reactor water coolant plants to improve the efficiency and sustainability of nuclear reactor systems.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahwa penggunaan games aplikasi berbasis  android dalam pembelajaran biologi siswa SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Jenis data yang di gunakan data kuantitatif seperti angket. Sumber data primer di peroleh dari angket, sedangkan data skunder di peroleh dari jurnal. Penelitian ini di lakukan di SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. Pada penelitian ini yang di amati adalah game berbasis android  dalam pembelajaran biologi di sekolah. Untuk populasi dan sampel yang di gunakan yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X.1 dan X.2 SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dan semua populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik kuisioner, dengan instrumen penelitian adalah angket yang di isi oleh siswa melalui google form. Angket yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data tentang pendapat siswa mengenai game berbasis android dalam pembelajaran Biologi di sekolah. Kemudian data akan di analisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian analisis data menunjukkan pada kesimpulan bahwa keinginan penggunaan games edukasi dengan android pada kriteria sangat tinggi (86%), motivasi siswa menggunggunakan games edukasi dengan android pada kategori baik (62%), dampak penggunaan games edukasi dengan android pada kategori baik  (65%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penggunaan games edukasi dengan android dalam pembelajaran biologi di kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2023-2024 pada kategori baik.Kata Kunci: Game edukasi, Android, Pembelajaran Biologi

Abstract

Islamic civilization during the Ayyubid dynasty is very important to study, especially the development of Sunni because Sunni is a form of school that became Shalahuddin's first policy to replace Shia at that time. This paper aims to discuss concrete forms of Sunni development during the Ayyubid dynasty, factors of Sunni development, and the impacts of its development. The type of research used was library research, the data were obtained from previous literature so that data collection technique used was documentation. This study found, first, the form of Sunni development began with the change of schools of thought from Shia to Sunni, the incessant development of madrasas, the prohibition on using books left by the Fatimids and the elimination of the sentence Hayya Ála Khairi Amal at the call to prayer; second, Sunni development was caused by internal factors such as the founding of the Ayyubid dynasty and Shalahuddin's Sunni background. Apart from these factors, Sunni development was also caused by external factors, namely, the majority of the world's Muslims are Sunnis and the dualism of the Shiites in Egypt; and third, the impact of Sunni developments on education, in which many madrassas were built and the reactivation of the Azhar mosque into a Sunni-based university.
