Abstract

Lake Maninjau has been developed with the floating net cage (KJA) system for aquaculture. In 2020, the number of KJA decreased by 0,03%, but in 2021, the number of KJA increased by 9,5%; this shows that the cultivator community still maintains the tilapia KJA business. This situation makes the author want to know the investment amount, income, and business. This situation makes the author want to know the investment amount, income, and business feasibility. The method used was a survey, while the respondents were determined deliberately on five KJA cultivators with ten bags and five KJA cultivators with 20 bags. The results showed that the KJA with ten bags had an investment of IDR 626,864,000, an IDR 825,600,000/year income, and an IDR 227,346,334/ year profit. Meanwhile, KJA has 20 bag units, an investment of IDR 1,276,100,000, an income of IDR 1,684,800,000/year, and IDR 490,695,668/ year. Based on the analysis results, the investment criteria were obtained for KJA with 10 RCR bag units (1.38), FRR (36.26), PPC (2.76) and for KJA with 20 RCR bag units (1.41), FRR (38, 45), PPC (2.60). The calculation of the RCR is more than 1, the FRR is greater than the BRI bank interest rate of 6.4%, the PPC is less than the maximum time required, and the economic life of the equipment used for the tilapia KJA business is two years and seven months, then the KJA fish business tilapia worth to run.

From a comparison of the profit-sharing system according to UUBHP, the share of income for fishermen who own drift gill nets in Bagan Hulu Village is greater than that according to UUBHP. The difference can be seen from the joint costs incurred. In the law, the shared costs incurred are consumption, while in the Bagan Hulu Village, the shared costs incurred are all operational costs.

Abstract

Bantan district is one of the districts on the coast of Bengkalis Regency, which has great potential to contribute to vaname shrimp production through intensive technology pond-based farming activities. This study aims to assess the sustainability status of vaname shrimp farming in the Bantan District. The data processing and data analysis were performed using Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS); the ordination process is performed using the ordination technique called Rapid Appraisal for Shrimp Farm (Rap-SF), which is a modification of Rap-FISH Rapid Appraisal for fisheries (Rapfish) using five dimensions namely ecological, economic, social, institutional, and technological. The research results show the sustainability index of the ecological dimension with a value of 47.27 (less sustainable), the economic dimension with a value of 59.55 (quite sustainable), the social dimension 52.88 (quite sustainable), the institutional dimension 47.10 (less sustainable) and the technological dimension 63.35 (quite sustainable). Technological and economic dimensions have a considerable influence on the sustainability of vaname shrimp farming in the Bantan District

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of case-based learning (CBL) on enhancing collaboration and communication skills among early childhood education (ECE) students. A meta-analysis was conducted using 25 effect sizes from studies published between 2022 and 2024, involving 1,056 participants and sourced from databases such as ERIC, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Wiley. The JSAP application facilitated statistical analysis. Results indicate that CBL significantly outperforms conventional learning methods in fostering collaboration and communication, evidenced by a high summary effect size of 1.013. CBL offers an interactive, student-centered approach that places students in real-life scenarios, encouraging active participation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Through intensive group discussions and collaborative activities, students learn to articulate ideas, respect diverse perspectives, and engage constructively in group settings. These findings underscore CBL’s potential as an effective pedagogical approach for developing essential interpersonal skills in ECE, which are critical for students' professional preparedness. Future studies should consider longitudinal impacts and cross-cultural contexts to validate these outcomes further.
